Jesus spoke in parables short, pithy stories that made a point and continue to inform us even today. Often the point is the very absurdity of the image given. 5 Join us for VBS!! Experience the thrill of traveling back to ancient Babylon with Daniel and his friends at Nazareth Lutheran Church 2018 Holy Land Adventure VBS. Would you be willing to assist us with this vital ministry? The next food pantry day is June 19th 10-11AM Please contact the church office and speak with Sharon if you would like to help Grocery Paper Bags are needed Food Items Needed: Large cans of tuna, large box of crackers, pork & beans and vienna sausages. 8 The OWL S will meet at St. James on June 21st! Provided will be lasagna, bread and drinks. If you will be joining us please bring a side and/ or dessert. We will meet in the Fellowship hall at noon. Our guest speaker will be Ms. Bianca Williams. The Mutual Ministry Committee Will be meeting with the pastor in the next few weeks. From our constitution, "the primary function of the committee is to act out of mutual concern for the pastor(s) and the congregation."
