9 Page 9 Wine Appreciation Contact: Jeff and Ann Cox jeffcox88@gmail.com We meet once a month, usually in the late afternoon as a group of 12 or less in a member s home. Each person pays $15 to the host who is responsible for choosing and buying the wine for that month as well as providing simple appetizers. There is a final get together of everyone at which we choose our favorite wine of the year. Tony Jardine and Diane Burley were the winners of our most recent wine tasting event on June 12. This group is organized much like the dining in groups, where people who are away a number of months will be spread throughout the groups, so "snowbirds" can join in.
