1 Reamschteddel News December 2018 Final publication of The Reamstown Historical Society & Museum ( The President s Final Cents Thank you to everyone who volunteered in any capacity since 2006, when we merged the Historical Preservation Trust of PA and the Ream Family Association to become the Reamstown Historical Society and Museum (RHS&M). This includes community organizations, businesses, government officials, families, individuals, and members. Without your support, it would have been impossible to honor our mission. Our legacy will live on as we transition and grow stronger together by joining forces with the Historical Society of the Cocalico Valley (HSCV). We are fortunate to have this organization in our area to ensure that the history and artifacts of not only Reamstown, but the entire Cocalico Valley, will be preserved and protected. I am especially pleased and grateful that members of our community will now have access to our documents at HSCV for their research and historical enjoyment. I encourage those of you who are not already members to join HSCV and become involved in this tremendous organization to visit their website by clicking here or going to I hope you enjoy this final issue of Reamschteddel News that documents our accomplishments throughout the years. Respectfully, Karen Sweigart President Page 1 of 7
