The Traditions, Concepts, and Service Prayer were read. Quorum was established, with 23 eligible groups present. See below Motion to accept May, minutes passed unanimously A group may not vote after missing two consecutive ASC meetings. After a group returns to the ASC they are granted voting privileges at the next ASC meeting. If a group does not have a vote it does not count toward the ASC quorum. Quorum: a fixed minimum percentage, or number of members of a committee, who must be present before the members can conduct valid business. Quorum at ASC is 2/3 of the Eligible Groups (EGs), or voting members. At Area s start, we had 35 EGs, so 23 voting groups were needed to meet quorum (35 x 2/3= 23).
