1 : The Horn of Our Salvation Psalm 18:2 Feast of Weeks is a highly regarded occasion; celebrated just seven perfect weeks following the Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread, and this celestial cycle concludes with giving thanks to %&%* (Deuteronomy 16:10-12) for delivering us from the burdens and oppressions of Egypt: past, present, and future. In the past, %&%* sent Moses to bring us out of Egypt and to teach us of His laws. But almost immediately, we again rebelled against %&%* and were punished to continue a ceaseless life of slavery and bondage to other nations throughout our entire history. Resultantly, we were brought again into bondage in Egypt (America) this time by way of ships (Deuteronomy 28:68); crying out once more to %&%* due to the anguish and pain at the hands of our oppressors up until this very day. Hearing our cries, remembering the promise to Abraham, and destined to raise up a nation who would obey His voice and follow His laws, %&%* decided to come in the present, at the end of the world, as the Son, %&%* 0v %&%*, to once and for all save His people and put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself (Hebrews 9:26). In fact, by His own blood, He entered in once into the holy place having obtained eternal redemption for us (Hebrews 9:12). Now as the lost sheep of the house of Israel, we can testify to the spiritual birth of %&%* 0v %&%*, His miraculous works, persecution, crucifixion, and physical death. In addition, as living witnesses we can affirm that %&%* 0v %&%* has REDEEMED us from the curse of breaking the laws of %&%*: that the blessings of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through %&%* 0v %&%*, thereby, ALL MEN might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Galatians 3:13-14). With that said, know of a surety that we may seem few in number, but there are those of us who remain faithful unto %&%* 0v %&%*, and who patiently await His Second Coming in the ever so near future, because we understand and recognize that %&%* 0v %&%* alone is: THE HORN OF OUR SALVATION (Psalm 18:2). A horn typically represents a musical instrument. But, in this case, horn is used in a metaphorical sense like that of an ox horn. When a horn sprout s from an ox s head, it is a symbol of great strength and regal power, and is displayed as a notable sign to all of his enemies that he is to be majestically feared. In like manner, %&%* shall raise up %&%* 0v %&%*, the Horn of Salvation, for us in the house of His servant David (Luke 1:69), as a notable sign to all of His enemies that He too is to be majestically feared. For %&%* shall clothe the enemies of %&%* 0v %&%* with shame: but upon %&%* 0v %&%* shall His crown flourish as a symbol of His great strength and regal power forever (Psalm 132:18). 3 CANCELLATION POLICY If you make reservations to stay at the host hotel during our feast and/or register for our nightly classes and will not arrive on the date stated on your registration form (flight canceled, will not be able to attend, and so on), please notify The Feast Committee 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE so we can cancel your room reservation or your ballroom seating reservation. If you fail to do this, you will be billed for the hotel room or not receive a registration refund. 4 FEAST PERFORMANCE GUIDELINES In keeping with the standards that established for our nation, The Feast Committee has instituted the following performance guidelines to ensure that we continue to show respect and reverence toward His moral teachings. Therefore, to be in accord with Titus 2:1-8, 10, all adults as well as children wishing to perform during our nightly program must adhere to the performance criteria listed below: A. Our Feast of Weeks 6020 theme is: : The Horn of Our Salvation (Psalm 18:2) and our overall theme for the year is: : The Savior of The World (1 John 4:14). All performances must reflect research done on either the themes or Feast of Weeks. The use of on-line dictionaries and thesauruses are prohibited as creditable sources of reference. All performers must wear either full culture or full business attire. All diadems worn must have the standard V wrap. No sheer or revealing fabrics, as well as no form-fitting, low-cut, or formshowing garments should be worn. Sisters must wear long, ankle-length, free-flowing outer cultural garments (tops, skirts, or dresses). Brothers must wear loose-fitting, anklelength cultural pants. Arms must be covered, and legs must be covered with appropriate leg stockings. No one with unclean garments, shoes, or diadems, and wearing false fingernails and makeup lip gloss, lip stick, mascara, eye shadow, and the like will be permitted to perform. B. All performers must submit a video format for all proposed performances. Video formats must be qualitative, audible, and accompanied by the type-written words/lyrics of the song, recitation, poem, play, and music voiceovers. Voiceovers should be readings or recitations that are applicable to the themes, the feasts, KJV Bible stories, or parables. Your performance should not exceed seven (7) minutes. No rough drafts will be accepted. All submissions must be in their final stage. C. Recitations: All recitations, plays, poems, welcomes, exordiums, including HIA, must adhere to paragraphs A and B above. D. Music/Songs: All singers and musicians must adhere to paragraphs A and B above. In addition, no singing or playing of secular (worldly) songs to or. Except for spirituals created before 1920, the use of secular samples, melodies, or any portion of worldly music as original compositions is prohibited. Any one found violating this guideline shall be suspended from performing. Music choices are: music and original songs, instrumentals, and/or jazz compositions. All instrumental and jazz compositions must be accompanied by Scriptural or poetic voiceovers. (Persons doing the voiceovers, if not appearing on the stage, do not have to appear on your video submission.) E. Dances: All dancers must adhere to paragraphs A and B above. In addition, dances must have a moral message. All instrumental dance music must be accompanied by voiceovers as stated in paragraph D. Dances must exemplify cultural connotations that represent the principles of chastity as taught by. Body movements should not be suggestive or sexually explicit, i.e., hip thrusts, hip rolls, gyrations, or clutching of the breast or crotch area. All performances must be sent to The Feast Committee by April 28, Any performance received without registration is denied.
