The East Bay York Rite allows our York Rite bodies to work together and accomplish great things. Its goal is to represent the bodies in our organization and improve York Rite Masonry in general. The great successes of "Honors Night", the "Grand YR Reception", the "Festival", etc. were accomplished because we worked together as a "Team". With everyone's continued strong support, this organization will continue to thrive and get stronger. Again, thank you. And on Tuesday, November 11th., 2018, we will be having elections, Companion Scott Rodrigues, High Priest, Vic Vickers, King, Dinesh Chhabra, Scribe, Bruce Weissenberger, Treasurer, and Carl Brickner, Secretary, assuming elected. Please plan on being there to support our new officers for the ensuing 2019 year. Dinesh will open and close, and all others will be at advanced stations. "Please note; the Oakland Chapter Installation will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019." Max Luy will be catering our Stated Dinner. Doric Chapter will hold it s annual members Holiday Dinner at the Cattlemens in Livermore on December 6. The Installation Ceremony for next year s Officers will take place Thursday night, January 17. I wish to thank the officers and members for supporting me as High Priest this year - it was truly a privilege and an honor. It was a good year for Doric Chapter. We relocated to the Lafayette Masonic Center and welcomed in seven new members this year: Harry Burt, John Minagro, Fred Lezak, David Kreutzinger, Terry Killgore, Harsh Gohil and Will Swisher. 3 Greetings Companions, OAKLAND COUNCIL NO. 12, C.M. Third Monday, Dinner 6:30 p.m., Stated Assembly 7:30 p.m. Alameda Masonic Hall, 2312 Alameda Ave., Alameda The year has flown by so quickly! This will be my last article as Illustrious Master of Oakland Council No. 12. I offer my sincerest "thank you" to you all for your hard work and efforts. Our last stated assembly of the year will be on December 17th. At this assembly, we will be electing our officers for next year. Dinner is at 6:30 pm, followed by the Stated Assembly at 7:30 pm. Mark your calendars. The installation of newly elected officers is scheduled for Monday, January 21st, In closing, thank you for your support this year and have a wonderful and safe holiday season! Fraternally and Sincerely, Federico "Fred" Baclig, Jr. Illustrious Master Oakland Commandery #11 Christmas Observance Service December 16, 2018 Breakfast 8:00 AM Service 9:00 AM Sir Knights, Companions and Brethren, Our Commandery is obligated to observe the usual Christmas Service at which the Christmas Services shall be read, the toast proposed and the response thereto and such other appropriate ceremonies had as may be by it provided. Every is expected to attend or hold this divine service. Max Luy will be catering our breakfast and it will be served at 8:00 AM, the cost of the meal will be covered by the Commandery. The event will be held at the Alameda Masonic Center (Island City Lodge) 2312 Alameda Ave., Alameda CA., Breakfast will be on the second floor. And at 9:00 AM., we will move to the third floor the actual observance. And close to 10:00 we should all be headed home. We will determine who will help with the readings at our next Commandery Stated meeting, A separate will be sent out this evening or early morning, providing information about our stated meeting. Our Christmas observance will be open to Commandery and guests. And other Chapter and Council members and guests who are members of the East Bay York Rite Association. I will need an RSVP on or before December 14th. 2018, a final count number will be given to Max on Friday night.
