6 The Power of Jesus JESUS HOLD THE KEYS TO DEATH AND HADES Revelation 1:18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

7 Where did Jesus go when he died? Luke 43 Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise." Jesus went to the paradise compartment of Hades Sheol

8 What did Jesus do there? First: He preached His gospel 1 Peter 3:18-21 He (Jesus) was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit, 19 through whom also he went and preached to the spirits in prison (THE UNDERWORLD) 20 who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah.

Second: He led the righteous out of Paradise and took them to heaven Ephesians 4: This is why it says: "When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men."9 (What does "he ascended" mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? 10 He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)

17 Where is Heaven? Apostle Paul s view 2 Corinthians 12:2-5 2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know God knows. 3 And I know that this man whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows 4 was caught up to paradise. He heard inexpressible things, things that man is not permitted to tell. 5 I will boast about a man like that, but I will not boast about myself, except about my weaknesses.

18 Heaven Apostle Paul s view Phil 1:21-24 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.22if I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labour for me. Yet what shall I choose? 19 Where do I go when I die? Its simple really. Those who die in Christ go to be with Christ and He is in heaven therefore those in Christ go to heaven.
