1 Explaining the Jubilee Cycle Using Pictures The Concept of Counting Time Time has always been counted using circles. Just look at your wall clock and wrist watch. The 61 st minute of the day is also the 1 st minute of the next hour, the next hour Cycle. The 121 st minute of the day is also the 1 st minute of the next hour, the next endless Cycle of hours. The number of minutes counted does not stop, break, skip, or damage the endless Pattern of counting hours. Count years, or count days, or count seconds, it is always the same concept. If you are counting to 1000 days, or to 1000 years, it is still the same concept. The count-value keeps increasing numerically, but the Pattern or Cycle never changes or skips. The Concept of Counting To 50 Years The 50 th year is the process of counting off numerical values, incrementally, until you reach 50. The count-value is an increasing number, but the count-value has nothing to do with the Pattern behind it. Just like with counting minutes to the next hour, the repeating Cycle keeps going, uninterrupted. It is a Cycle, it does not stop or skip. Likewise, the Pattern of Sabbatical 7-year Cycles never changes, stops, or skips. A historian can count off a sequence of 50 years, but can start in the middle of a Jubilee Cycle. The count-value has one purpose, and the Pattern or Cycle has another purpose. Counting incremental numerical values towards 50 does not change the Pattern of the Cycle of 7 s. They are two different things. Time is Counted Using Circles A week is a Pattern of 7 days. Each day, 24 hours, is shown as a simple Circle, hung on the wall as a (military) clock. A Sabbatical-Cycle is also a Pattern, but of 7 years instead of days. It is the same concept. Each year can also be shown as a simple Circle. Thus, 7 years can be seen as 7 Circles, and shown as a Circle of Circles. Page 1 of 6

2 An implied larger (outer) Circle wraps around, encloses, the inner 7 Circles Two 7 Year Cycles, 14 years, shown as Circles within Circles The 8 th Circle continues the counting-value towards 1000 years, but notice that it is also the 1 st Circle in the next Cycle of 7 Circles. Thus, the 8 th Circle is BOTH. The 8 th Circle is both the 8 th and the 1 st at the same time. The Cycles of 7 years each cannot be changed or skipped, because, they are Cycles. But the counting of years may continue past 7, and past 8. Page 2 of 6

3 Continuing the counting value to 49, which is 7 Sabbatical Year Cycles, can be shown as 49 Circles, and shown as Circles within Circles. One Jubilee Cycle is the repeating and endless Pattern of 49 years, each. Seven Sabbatical Years, shown as 49 Circles, shown as Circles within Circles Thus, 49 years is 7 Sabbaticals, which completes one larger (outer) Circle-Pattern Counting the 50 th Circle Likewise, the 50 th Circle (50 th year) starts another similar Pattern of another 49 inner Circles. The 50 th year starts another Jubilee Cycle of another 7 Sabbatical Year Cycles. The 50 th year is the numerical value counting, and could be counting towards ever higher values (50, 51, 52, etc.), but, it is also the 1 st Circle in the next Pattern of 7 Sabbatical Years, the 1 st Circle into the next 49 years. 4 The 50 th Year, is the 1 st year of the next similar Pattern of 49 years The 50 th year is the incremental counting upwards towards a higher number. The task of counting to 50 is a different paradigm (concept) than it is to count through the 7 year Cycles. Cycle- Patterns do not change when the counting goes to the next Cycle. Thus, the 50 th Circle is BOTH. The 50 th Circle is both the 50 th and the 1 st at the same time. Leviticus 25:10 is in reference to counting numerically, towards a higher numeric value, up to 50. The counting towards the number 50 has nothing to do with stopping, breaking, skipping, or damaging the never ending Pattern of counting 7 Year Cycles. Thus, the Jubilee Cycle is exactly seven Sabbatical Years, which is 49 years. The Jubilee Year is always the first year of each Jubilee Cycle. Page 4 of 6

5 Counting to the 344 th Year The counting value can continue to ever larger numerical values. The next larger (outer) Pattern is 343 Years. Pattern of 343 Circles within Circles, ( 7 times 7 times 7 ) The next higher numerical-counting-value, the next year-count, the 344 th year in counting, then starts another even larger (outer) Pattern. That same year, the 344 th year, also starts another Jubilee Cycle (of 49 years), and it also starts another Sabbatical Year Cycle (of 7 years), all being true at the same time.
