3 CONTINUITY IN LEADERSHIP THOUGHTS 1. IT IS A GOD IDEA CONTINUITY IN PRIESTHOOD. Exodus 40:12-15 Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the tent of meeting and wash them with water. Then dress Aaron in the sacred garments, anoint him and consecrate him so he may serve me as priest. Bring his sons and dress them in tunics. Anoint them just as you anointed their father, 3 P a g e

4 so they may serve me as priests. Their anointing will be to a priesthood that will CONTINUE THROUGHOUT THEIR GENERATIONS." 1.2. CONTINUITY IN LEADERSHIP. Deuteronomy 34:9 Now JOSHUA son of Nun WAS FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM because MOSES HAD LAID HIS HANDS ON HIM. So the Israelites LISTENED TO HIM and DID WHAT THE LORD COMMANDED MOSES. So, the mandate was given to Moses. Joshua received Wisdom and continued with the mandate MULTI-GENERATIONAL MANDATES - There are no new devils - old ones with new names THE AMALEK CHALLENGE WAS MULTI-GENERATIONAL Exodus 17:14-16 Then the Lord said to Moses, Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered and MAKE SURE THAT JOSHUA HEARS IT, because I will completely blot out the name of Amalek from under heaven. Moses built an altar and called it The Lord is my Banner. 5 REASONS FOR THE WAR - Deuteronomy 25:17-19 Remember what the Amalekites did to you along the way when you came out of Egypt. WHEN YOU WERE WEARY AND WORN OUT, they met you on your journey and ATTACHED ALL WHO WERE LAGGING BEHIND; they had no fear of God. When the Lord your God gives you rest from all the enemies around you in the land he is giving you to possess as an inheritance, you shall blot out the name of Amalek from under heaven. DO NOT FORGET! IT IS A SPIRIT THAT TARGETS THE WEARY AND WORN OUT. It is a strategy of the enemy to throw trouble on the saints forcefully and continually in order to overwhelm Psalms 18:4-5 The pangs of death surrounded me, And the floods of ungodliness made me afraid. 6 Sorrow - a feeling of deep distress caused by loss, disappointment or misfortune suffered by one or others. Snares - a thing likely to lure or temp someone into harm or error. IT ALSO TARGETS THOSE WHO LAG BEHIND - those who fall behind in movement, progress or development!!! EVEN BALAAM THE SYNCRETIST HAD TO TOW THE LINE. Numbers 24:20 Then Balaam saw Amalek and spoke his message: Amalek was first among the nations, but their end will be utter destruction. SAUL'S destiny defining battle was against AMALEK - he failed and lost the kingdom; was killed by an AMALEKITE and an AMALEKITE took his Crown and brought it to David. 2 Samuel 1:8-10 He asked me, (Saul) Who are you?
