Morning Dew Service Apostle Emma S. Dickens April 2, 2017 Seeing G-d Through the Eyes of Suffering Apostolic Teaching from the Apostolic Vault: A Soldier s in Training Mentality. Never base your premises on working in the kingdom on the principle that someone else will do it. Your mentality should be that it is your job to be there and not someone else. Soldiers operate according to the RAC principle Responsibility, Accountability, & Countability. Are you consider an accountable soldier? Don t be hooked on your title. Don t be so hooked on your title and the task that is set before you that you can t be flexible. Don t miss your blessing and make someone else miss theirs. Leadership leads should lead in their home: Never allow your children to pull you away from faithfulness in leadership. If you are in leadership, you need to lead in your home. Your 1 st obligation should be to bring your children to the house G-d more than you take them to activities in the secular. This is training and it will help them know how to act in the spiritual. Protect your children and protect what you allow them to wear, hear, watch, and participate in.
The responsibility lies on Apostle? Youth leaders don t do anything with the youth of KEM without Apostle s permission. She has to cover the youth and should know when they are in your presence. Youth, who are you riding with? Be careful who you get in the car with. Don t get in the car with even a youth leader if Apostle did not send them. Always ask them if Apostle sent them. There is a spirit of perverseness in the church so you have to be careful. Job 32:1-9 (KJV)So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes. 2 Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God. 3 Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job. 4 Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he. 5 When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled. 6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion. 7 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom. 8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. 9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment. Seeing G-d Through the Eyes of Suffering How do you see G-d when you are suffering: Job had been living in a state of misery and suffering for months. He had open infested sores all over his body. The sores were oozing and draining pulse. He went through and bore in grief the death of 7 sons and 3 daughters. No parents expects to bury their own children. He lost all his wealth and 1 afternoon. He had become repulsive to his wife. His brothers didn t want to look upon him and little children picked on him. He went from a mansion to a dump. He was suffering from! When you have suffered for over a year can you still say that the Lord giveth and taketh away, blessed it be the name of the Lord? The house of G-d ought to have so much relief in in it that is the place of desire for all that are suffering.
What you are suffering with may be bigger than you but G-d has anointed you to take it. True Suffering= A Real Trial: A trial ain t a trial until it affects you physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and financially. What do you do when you have 3 trifling friends that come to criticize, and cast judgement on you because of your suffering? Let the Word work it out: Receive the word from the pastor and let the word work in you. You shouldn t need constant counseling from others when the word is working. What do you do when you feel as if you have been pushed as far down as can go? You look up because that is the only place left to go. A brand new me! If you act strange it is because you have been through some things and now you are a brand new person. That trial that you endured, changed you. That last trial broke you down and has you in a place to walk by nothing but faith. When you come out of this trial you will come as pure gold. Why aren t you shining? If G-d brought you through as pure gold why aren t you shining? Are you holding back on your shine because your friends aren t shining too?are you a fire walker? Can you walk through the fire! You should never sit down in a fiery trial. G-d wants you to be faithful and dedicated in the midst of the flames. He wants you to hold on in the midst of your hurt and pain.
You can t stand me. When you come out of the trial you people aren t going to be able stand you. If they couldn t stand you before the trial, watch out, they ain t going to be able to take it. Under this Joshua anointing you are going be able to receive every promise that G-d has spoken to you. Through the eyes of suffering Job started wavering a little bit especially after listening to his 3 friends. His 3 friends were trying to persuade him that his suffering was a sign that he had sinned. That felt that Job was righteous in his own eyes so the quit talking to him. This made Job desire to meet with G-d and question him. He wanted to meet G-d in court so he could plead his cause and his case (legal terms) before him. Why are you worried when you are double insured! We have Jesus who intercedes on our behalf and we have the Paraclete, the Holy Spirit that is our comforter. Elihu point of view (Job s 4 friend) : Elihu s point of view was that Job was a righteous man and loved G-d but he didn t like the way Job spoke. Elihu pops up in the book of Job in chapter 32. Elihu name is the Hebrew means my G-d is with He. Elihu was angry at Job and the 3 other friends. He was mad at the other 3 friends because they were just talking to Job without giving him a solution for his problem. He told the 3 friends that he was young and they were very old and they still didn t give solid or useful advice. Note that anger will take you over and can become dangerous. If you let anger simmer long enough, it can make you do dangerous things. Elihu was afraid. Elihu was afraid to give his opinion in the midst of the 3 friends because they were older and supposed to be wiser. Out of respect of those older than him, he held back and didn t share his opinion. He was intimidated by them. But after while he couldn t hold back any longer and had to state his opinion.
Apostolic Instructions: Show respect: From Elihu you learn to always show respect. Respect will take you a long ways. Respect the older season people that display wisdom. Parents teach your children respect. Teach them that when you are talking they should not interject. They should bequiet until you are finished. Married couples: You have to learn to listen to one another. You can t both talk at the same time. Learn to shut your mouth and pray. If your house gets busted up it was because of flesh and not because of the enemy because he can t bust up your family. Let the Holy Ghost be your keeper and your spouse. Women, ask G-d to help you bridle your tongue. Le the Holy Ghost handle some stuff. G-d ordained us to be helpmates. But you shouldn t go over board. He can t make you look crazy: Agree that the devil won t keep making you look crazy. Christians aren t weak people. They are strong in the Lord. Increase the strength of your prayers by praying the word. Instructions for parents that are separated/divorced: Don t feed your child bitterness. Don t talk bad about the other spouse. Don t let your animosity towards each other cause division between the parents and children. Young people: The best gift you can have is the opportunity to spend time with an older person of wisdom. Let them part history into you. Get you a pastor & ministry that will o Teach you re the principle of giving o Teach you how to have a successful marriage o Teach you have to live single and saved o Teach your strongly o Teach you to ask G-d to cleanse you from all filthiness in the spirit and the flesh
o Teach you to represent G-d to the highest no matter where you go o Train you how to carry yourself around the people of G-d. o Speak with the wisdom of the age o Teach you to be able to carry and share the word with others o Teach you how to carry yourself, and how to walk & talk like a virtuous women o Teaches that you when you do right, G-d will do right by you. o Teach you how to follow the pastor as he/she follows Christ. o Teaches women to age with grace and not in disgrace o EMPOWER YOU You have the favor of G-d is your life! Pull down whatever is holding you back, including yourself. Your habits and hang-ups can hold you back. Dress for success even when you don t think you have gotten there yet. Don t let anyone set the style for you. Follow the instructions of the Prophet and by July you will see a change. 1 King 12: 1-17, (KJV) And Rehoboam went to Shechem: for all Israel were come to Shechem to make him king. 2 And it came to pass, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who was yet in Egypt, heard of it, (for he was fled from the presence of king Solomon, and Jeroboam dwelt in Egypt;) 3 That they sent and called him. And Jeroboam and all the congregation of Israel came, and spake unto Rehoboam, saying, 4 Thy father made our yoke grievous: now therefore make thou the grievous service of thy father, and his heavy yoke which he put upon us, lighter, and we will serve thee. 5 And he said unto them, Depart yet for three days, then come again to me. And the people departed. 6 And king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, that stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, and said, How do ye advise that I may answer this people? 7 And they spake unto him, saying, If thou wilt be a servant unto this people this day, and wilt serve them, and answer them, and speak good words to them, then they will be thy servants for ever. 8 But he forsook the counsel of the old men, which they had given him, and consulted with the young men that were grown up with him, and which stood before him: 9 And he said unto them, What counsel give ye that we
may answer this people, who have spoken to me, saying, Make the yoke which thy father did put upon us lighter? 10 And the young men that were grown up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou speak unto this people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it lighter unto us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My little finger shall be thicker than my father's loins. 11 And now whereas my father did lade you with a heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke: my father hath chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions. 12 So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam the third day, as the king had appointed, saying, Come to me again the third day. 13 And the king answered the people roughly, and forsook the old men's counsel that they gave him; 14 And spake to them after the counsel of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, and I will add to your yoke: my father also chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions. 15 Wherefore the king hearkened not unto the people; for the cause was from the LORD, that he might perform his saying, which the LORD spake by Ahijah the Shilonite unto Jeroboam the son of Nebat. 16 So when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house, David. So Israel departed unto their tents. 17 But as for the children of Israel which dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them. 23 Speak unto Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and unto all the house of Judah and Benjamin, and to the remnant of the people, saying, 24 Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me. They hearkened therefore to the word of the LORD, and returned to depart, according to the word of the LORD. A true leader won t let you act a certain way: Jerohobam left Israel because he had wanted to do some things that Solomon wouldn t allow. You better listen to wisdom: Rehoboam didn t want to hear wisdom as to how to serve the people he wanted to rule. However, he needed to 1 st learn how to hush and watch. When you get into a new position learn how to hush and watch and learn what to do vs. thinking you know everything.
Life changing decisions. Be careful who you ask for counsel because the decisions they give you will become life changing decisions. Learn to work together. When you all work together it makes you feel like you have a part of something. Get an inheritance in the ministry. Get ready for your success blessing.
