1 1 2 It s a Set Up Exodus 14: And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea. 3 For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in. 4 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so. 5 And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us? 6 And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him: 7 And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them. 8 And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand. 9 But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon. 10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD. 11 And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? 12 Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness. 13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. 14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. 15 And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: 16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. 17 And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. 18 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. 19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: 20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night. 21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were

2 3 4 divided. 22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. 23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. 24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, 25 And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians. 26 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. 27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. 28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them. 29 But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. 30 Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore. 31 And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses. INTRO: Ex 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. I came to this house to prophesy to someone tonight, & I came to tell you that tonight is your night. Tonight is a night of Victory, Tonight God is going to deal the death blow to an enemy that has been plaguing your life, dogging your heels, riding your back, breathing down your neck, making your life miserable. God said today you are going to put that situation under your feet. Listen to the text: The salvation he will show to you (tonight) for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, you shall see them again no more forever. Egyptians: (Enemies) I don t know what the Egyptians mean to you tonight it could be sickness, financial trouble, it could be family Problems & commotion, or it could be people who are trying to destroy your life, attacking your person/ integrity a habit or an addiction that you haven t been able to conquer

3 5 6 Whatever it is God said to tell you that today is your day for victory. How many of you know that the devil is opposed to you having victory, the devil doesn t want anybody enjoying abundant life is at their mercy, & now their fate is in their hands & they have the power to kill, destroy, & or save & keep alive. That s exactly what Pharaoh was thinking. After the children of Israel are thrust out of Egypt Pharaoh decides he has made a mistake & wants them back & now he s in hot pursuit of them. V 3 For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in. Now Pharaoh is saying: I ve got them right where I want them, they re trapped, there s nowhere for them to go. I ve got them right where I want them. Most of the time when you hear those words it s because somebody believes they have somebody trapped, surrounded, hedged in, no escape. It s because they believe that they have the upper hand, & everything is in their favor. When somebody speaks those words, it s w/a sense of confidence, & assurance, they will win It s spoken w/ the sense that the other party Hey you ever fill that all hell has broken loose against U & you look around for help but there is no help to be found? & it feels like your surrounded & the enemy is coming at you from every side, & then is like you can almost hear the devil laughing w/an attitude of arrogance saying: (Now I ve got you right where I want you). We ve all been there: In fact I m talking to some people WHO ARE THERE RIGHT NOW. You are my assignment I believe God want s me to prophesy to you & to tell you; things aren t always as they appear. He told me to tell you that there is more to this than meets the eye. He told me to tell you that (IT S A SET UP). He told me to tell you, that even though

4 7 8 it may look like the worst situation in your life He s getting ready to thrust you into a brand new glory, a brand new anointing, a new level of faith & power beyond anything that you have ever experienced before Hey God sent an elevator your way & it came in the form of an enemy, God said he would make your haters into elevators, (Most everyone saw Goliath as a hater, but David saw him as an elevator. I know it sounds crazy but some of you need to thank those enemies for pushing you into your destiny, (I wouldn t be where I am if it wasn t for my enemies) everything the enemy sent to take you down, God is going to use it to lift you up. I came to tell you: don t give up Your on the edge of a miracle. God didn t bring you this far to leave you. He didn t call you out on the water to let you drown. He didn t bring you out of the bondage & slavery to let THE ENEMY devour you. I came to tell you: Help is on the way, & I came to tell you (it s closer than you think). Hey He s heard your cry & he has seen your tears, & help is on the way. There s a miracle in the making. The children of Israel found themselves in a predicament, a bad situation, a trap. I know we re faith people, but let s just be honest about it: (We ve all been there) we have all found ourselves in a bad situation that we couldn t get ourselves out of. Hey Sometimes we are there because of foolishness on our part, wrong choices, wrong actions, wrong associations, wrong instructions. But sometimes there is no other explanation but the devil, we have an adversary who hates us & his intent is to destroy our lives. Physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually, your marriage your family your ministry.

5 9 10 The devil comes but for to steal to kill and to destroy. But whatever the reason: we know what it feels like to be caught somewhere in something w/no way of escape. God is getting ready to show up & slap that devil down Oh yes there was a trap: But what we miss a lot of times is this one little thing (the trap wasn t for the children of Israel it was for the Egyptians). I m talking to somebody right now (you re in that place right now) & many time we begin to act just like the children of Israel & begin to murmur & grumble & complain & start looking backward, & begin to blame God for not making everything easy, & to call his love into question for allowing us to struggle and suffer. But I want to remind you: IT S A SETUP. Tell your neighbor: IT S A SET UP Hey You ve been crying out to God for deliverance, for help & it looks to you & feels to you, like everything has taken one giant step forward from bad, to worse, to impossible. But I came to tell you: When you re down to nothing, God s up to something. The trap is not for you, the trap is for your enemies. *God let your enemies think that you were trapped. *God let your enemies see you cry. *God let your enemies see your struggle & see your pain so they get led in the trap. 6 11 12 What I m telling you today is this: God is getting ready to take care of your enemies, & God has been using this situation, this dilemma, this storm, to draw your enemies together, to draw them out of hiding, the ones that used to walk around talking behind your back, are now standing up in your face, & some of them that have been working in the dark, God is turning the light on, & he s uncovering them. You may have all the artillery, but I ve got God. You may have all the odds in your favor, but I ve got God You may have all the plans, & strategies, but I ve got God. You may have the courts on your side, but I ve got God on my side. You may have the bank, but I ve got God. Ro 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? God is going take care of them once and for all. Somebody needs to prophesy right now & declare it: Today is my day. It was an impressive show of fierce military might going after the stampeding down on the children of Israel. the Isralelits didn t even know how to fight, (they had no chariots, no great weaponry, & no artillery But they had something Pharaoh had forgotten about. (They had God) & God Set them Up Tell your neighbor: I ve got God. Hey watch this Exodus 14:24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch,,,, the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, (NIV) and threw it into confusion. (TLB) and began to harass them. (MSG) and threw them into a panic. (BBE) and sent trouble on the army of the Egyptians;

7 13 I came by to tell somebody tonight: The Lord has been looking, he has been watching the enemy, & he has been calculating his actions, & his moves & he has been observing the way he s been treating you, & he s taking it personal. The bible says: God troubled the host of the Egyptians He distracted, to confused, to disturbed, to vexed. IT S A SET UP Hey God is not letting your enemy destroy you It s a Set Up You need to worship Him & It s during your worship that He will destroy your enemy
