Nov. 25th, a group of dlsabled veterans from Mitchell Field were entertained at a, Dance and Supper at our Temple. The league served as hosts and the Committee on arrangements includ-.:.ed Dr. and Mrs. Simon R. Gottlieb, Mr. and Mrs.. Arnold Becker, Mr. and Mrs. J. Boorstein, Mrs. Ferd. Loeb, Mrs. M. Markowitz, and Mrs. Jacob Geiger:. Gifts for the occasion were made by Mr. Abraham. Steigerwald and Mrs. Ferdinand Loeb. On Wednesday evening, Dec. 5th, our Temple group will travel to the Mitchell. Field Hospital to entertain the veterans there. ' Our Temple has also been called upon to give a Holiday Party for the 4000 "Purple Heart" Veterans at Camp Upton. Plans are under way for this enteretainment. Mr. Harold Rodner, of Warner Bros., has been most helpful in the.arrangements of these' various socials.
