A comparison between Muhammad and Jesus Christ 1. Muhammad was the prophet of war; Christ is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6-7). i. Sura 9:29. Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger ii. Bukhari 1:24. Narrated Ibn 'Umar: - Allah's Apostle said: "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle, 2. Muhammad's disciples killed for the faith; Christ's disciples were killed for their faith (Acts 12:2; 2 Timothy 4:7). i. Bukhari Vol.9 Number.57, Narrated 'Ikrima: Some Zanadiqa (atheists) were brought TO 'ALI AND HE BURNT THEM. The news of this event, reached Ibn 'Abbas who said, "If I had been in his place, I would not have burnt them, as Allah's Apostle forbade it, saying, 'Do not punish anybody with Allah's punishment (fire).' I would have killed them according to the statement of Allah's Apostle, 'Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.'" ii. The first in the series of assassinations that the prophet ordered was an old Jewish man named Ibnu l-ashraf. His crime was writing poetry against Muslims. "The apostle said, WHO WILL RID ME OF IBNU L-ASHRAF? " One of his followers volunteered said, "I will deal with him for you, O apostle of God, I will kill him." AND THE PROPHET RESPONDED BY SAYING, "DO SO IF YOU CAN." The prophet also explicitly gave his assassins permission to lie and use trickery in order to accomplish their mission. The report goes on to describe how the prophet's followers deceived the old man out of his house in the middle of the night and jumped on him with swords and daggers and brutally murdered him. After completing their mission, the followers reported back to the prophet that they "had killed God's enemy." The author concludes this incident by writing, "OUR ATTACK UPON GOD'S ENEMY CAST TERROR AMONG THE JEWS, AND THERE WAS NO JEW IN MEDINA WHO DID NOT FEAR FOR HIS LIFE" (pp ) Muhammad promoted persecution against the "infidels"; Christ forgave and converted the chief persecutor (1 Timothy 1:13-15). i. Sura 9:5. But when the forbidden months are past, then fight AND SLAY THE PAGANS WHEREVER YE FIND THEM, and seize

them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); BUT IF THEY REPENT, and establish regular prayers and pay Zakat, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oftforgiving, Most Merciful. 4. Muhammad was the taker of life; Christ was the giver of life (John 10:27-28). i. "When the apostle heard what she had said he said, "Who will rid me of Marwan's daughter?" Umayr b. Adiy al-khatmi who was with him heard him, and that very night he went to her house and killed her." - FROM THE SIRAT RASUL ALLAH, by Ibn Ishaq (A. Guilaume's translation "The Life of Muhammad") page 675, 676 ii. After Muhammad and his men captured Khaybar, Muhammad ordered his men to torture the Jewish chief of this settlement who was named Kinana. He had him tortured in order that the Jew would tell where the community treasure was buried. Ibn Ishaq's Sirat Rasulallah gives the details:- (...) so the apostle gave orders to al-zubayr b. `Al-Awwam, 'TORTURE HIM UNTIL YOU EXTRACT WHAT HE HAS,' so he kindled a fire with flint and steel on his chest until he was nearly dead. Then the apostle delivered him to Muhammad b. Maslama and he struck off his head, in revenge for his brother Mahmud. (Alfred Guillaume, The Life Of Muhammad [Oxford Press Karachi], p. 515) 5. Muhammad and his fellow warriors murdered thousands; Christ murdered none but saved many (compare John 12:48). i. "Hormuz wanted to cut the fight short by murdering Khalid treacherously. So, no sooner were the two armies engaged in battle than he challenged Khalid to fight a duel. Khalid at once dismounted and before long his foe was killed and Khalid cut off his head and held it by the forelock. The Persians dashed up at full gallop to prevent their captain's death, but the Muslims were ready for them. The Persians took to their heels AND A MASSACRE FOLLOWED." - (This was during the ruthless conquest of Persia) 6. Muhammad's method was COMPULSION; Christ's aim was voluntary CONVERSION (Acts 3:19). i. Here is the text of the message the Prophet Mohammad sent to the Julanda brothers through the intermediary of his Messengers, 'Amr bin al-'as al-sahmi and Abu Zaid al-ansari.

ii. "Peace be upon the one who follows the right path! I call you to Islam. Accept my call, and you shall be unharmed. I am God's Messenger to mankind, and the word shall be carried out upon the miscreants. If, therefore, you recognize Islam, I shall bestow power upon you. BUT IF YOU REFUSE TO ACCEPT ISLAM, YOUR POWER SHALL VANISH, MY HORSES SHALL CAMP ON THE EXPANSE OF YOUR TERRITORY AND MY PROPHECY SHALL PREVAIL IN YOUR KINGDOM." iii. iv. v. vi. Sura 9:73 Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home, and evil fate 7. Muhammad practiced FORCE; Christ preached FAITH (John 6:29,35). i. Sura 9:29. Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger ii. Bukhari, Number:24. Narrated Ibn 'Umar: - Allah's Apostle said: "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle, 8. Muhammad was a WARRIOR; Christ is a DELIVERER (Col. 1:13; 1 Thessalonians 1:10). i. See points 7) and 1). 9. Muhammad conquered his enemies with the sword; Christ conquered his enemies with another kind of sword, the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God (Hebrews 4:12; Acts 2:37). i. Prior to Muhammad's conquest of Khaibar, he had just been stopped by the Meccans from performing a pilgrimage to Mecca. Outside of Mecca, he also signed a humiliating treaty with the Meccans - a treaty that a number of his leading followers didn't like. To placate them Muhammad claimed to have a "revelation" that God would give them the possessions of the Jews of Khaibar. Six weeks later he marched on Khaibar with the intent to conquer and plunder. The story can be found on A. Guillaume's "The Life of Muhammad" page Muhammad said to the masses, "Convert or die!"; Christ said, "Believe and live!" (John 6:47; 11:25-26).

i. BUT IF YOU REFUSE TO ACCEPT ISLAM, YOUR POWER SHALL VANISH, MY HORSES SHALL CAMP ON THE EXPANSE OF YOUR TERRITORY AND MY PROPHECY SHALL PREVAIL IN YOUR KINGDOM. (The letter to the Julanda brothers) 11. Muhammad was swift to shed blood (Romans 3:15-17); Christ shed His own blood for the salvation of many. (Ephesians 1:7). i. Muhammad said: "Torture him until you extract what he has." - "The Life of Muhammad" page 515 ii. Muhammad said: "If you gain a victory over the men of Jews, kill them." - Abu Dawud (hadith) Book 19, Number 2996 iii. "The apostle said, "KILL ANY JEW THAT FALLS INTO YOUR POWER" - Alfred Guillaume (Biography of Prophet Mohammad Published by Oxford University Press (page 369) iv. Muhammad said: "WHO WILL RID ME OF MARWAN'S DAUGHTER?" Umayr b. Adiy al-khatmi who was with him heard him, and that very night he went to her house and killed her. - ("The Life of Muhammad") page 675, Muhammad preached "Death to the infidels!"; Christ prayed "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34). i. Muhammad said: "WHOEVER CHANGED HIS ISLAMIC RELIGION, THEN KILL HIM." - Bukhari 9:57 ii. If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him; - Qur'an 3:85 (This last verse doesn't command the Muslims to kill the infidels, but it does show that the only accepted religion is Islam.) 13. Muhammad declared a holy war (Jihad) against infidels; Christ achieved a holy victory on Calvary's cross (Colossians 2:14-15) and His followers share in that victory (John 16:33). i. Sura 9:29. Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth. 14. Muhammad constrained people by conquest; Christ constrained people by love (2 Corinthians 5:14). i. See the letter Muhammad sent to the Julanda brothers: - "Peace be upon the one who follows the right path! I call you to Islam. Accept my call, and you shall be unharmed. I am God's Messenger to mankind, and the word shall be carried out upon the miscreants.

If, therefore, you recognize Islam, I shall bestow power upon you. BUT IF YOU REFUSE TO ACCEPT ISLAM, YOUR POWER SHALL VANISH, MY HORSES SHALL CAMP ON THE EXPANSE OF YOUR TERRITORY AND MY PROPHECY SHALL PREVAIL IN YOUR KINGDOM." 15. Modern terrorists derive their inspiration from Muhammad and carry out their despicable atrocities in the name of his god; Christians derive their inspiration from the One who said, "Blessed are the peacemakers" (Matthew 5:9). i. "Praise be to Allah, who revealed the Book, controls the clouds, defeats factionalism, AND SAYS IN HIS BOOK: "But when the forbidden months are past, THEN FIGHT AND SLAY THE PAGANS WHEREVER YE FIND THEM, seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war)"; AND PEACE BE UPON OUR PROPHET, MUHAMMAD BIN- 'ABDALLAH, WHO SAID: I HAVE BEEN SENT WITH THE SWORD BETWEEN MY HANDS TO ENSURE THAT NO ONE BUT ALLAH IS WORSHIPPED, Allah who put my livelihood under the shadow of my spear and who inflicts humiliation and scorn on those who disobey my orders." ii. (Statement from Usama bin Laden and his associates purports to be a religious ruling (fatwa) requiring the killing of Americans, both civilian and military - ) 16. Modern day disciples of Muhammad respond to the terrorist attacks by cheering in the streets; Modern day Disciples of Christ are deeply grieved at past atrocities carried out by those who were "Christians" in name only (the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, etc.). i. "When young armed Palestinians patrolling the streets of a refugee camp in Jenin heard the news from New York and Washington, THEY CHUCKLED WITH GLEE. ONE OF THEM THANKED GOD FOR HIS MIGHTY REVENGE AGAINST THE UNITED STATES, Israel's ally and main weapons supplier." - l ii. "After the two terror attacks, dozens of young Palestinians marched through the darkened streets of Gaza, cheering and raising their hands in victory" -

Side note: I. Modern day disciples of Christ are deeply grieved at past atrocities carried out by those who were "Christians" in name only (the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, etc.). i. This is true, as seen in the Coptic site: - "First, a word about my personal view of the Crusades. I believe that the murderous and pillaging acts of the Crusaders when they entered Jerusalem were barbaric, unchristian, and evil. This is particularly so as those barbaric, unchristian, and evil acts were carried on in the name of a religion of peace, love, and forgiveness. I believe that the vast bulk of thinking Christians agree with me. I CITE AS EVIDENCE THE LARGE NUMBERS OF CHRISTIANS WHO HAVE RECENTLY TAKEN LONG PILGRIMAGES IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE CRUSADERS, REPENTING FOR THE CRUSADER'S ACTS, SEEKING FOR FORGIVENESS, AND GIVING PENANCE FOR THE CRUSADER'S BARBARIC, UNCHRISTIAN, AND EVIL ACTS." ii. "A question occurs to me here. How many Muslim groups have taken long pilgrimages in the footsteps of the Muslim conquest repenting, seeking for forgiveness, and giving penance for the Muslims imperialist, colonialist, and bloody conquest of Palestine, Egypt, Syria, North Africa, and Spain?" iii Many Muslims are peaceful and peace-loving because they do not strictly follow the teachings of their founder; Many Christians are peaceful and peace-loving because they do strictly follow the teachings of their Founder (Romans 12:17-21). i. See the previous references in # Muhammad said the Qur an is authoritative only in Arabic, and only in his dialect; The Bible is authoritative in many languages around the world, for God knows all things and can inspire His Word in more than one language. i. First of all, I think all Muslims agree that only the ARabic Qur'an is authoritative. ii. Second, the 2nd Caliph clearly stated to the men involved in gathering the Qur'an on one manuscript that if they difered, then the dialect of Muhammad should be taken in first place: iii. "Uthman ordered Zayd ibn Thabit, Sa`id ibn al-`as, `Abd Allah ibn al-zubayr, and `Abd Al-Rahman ibn al-harith ibn Hisham to copy them into volumes. He said: "If you all differ with Zayd concerning the Arabic, THEN WRITE IT IN THE DIALECT OF

QURAYSH, for truly the Qur an was only revealed in their dialect." - Bukhari Volume 6, Book 61, Number 507: 19. Muhammad hated music; Jesus and His disciples sang hymns, and the Apostle commanded the Lord's Church to sing. (Matthew 26:30, Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16) i. Sahih Al-Bukhari Volume 7, Book 69, hadith #494v Narrated Abu 'Amir (raa) or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari (raa) that he heard the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks, and the use of musical instruments [ma'aazif] as lawful. And (from them), there will be some who will stay near the side of a mountain, and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and Allah will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection." note: Here Rasulullah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) has mentioned music with drinking of alcohol and fornication (zina) which are a MAJOR (Kabair) sin! ii. iii. Sunan Abu-Dawud Book 41, Hadith # 4909 Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud(raa) : Salam ibn Miskin(raa), quoting an old man who witnessed AbuWa'il in a wedding feast, said: They began to play, amuse and sing. He united the support of his hand round his knees that were drawn up, and said: I heard Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) say: I heard the apostle of Allah (SAW) say: SINGING PRODUCES HYPOCRISY IN THE HEART. 20. Muhammed allowed that a Mullah, Imam, or Mufti of Islam can be a terrorist and moral animal like Osama bin Laden; The Bible requires that a leader in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ must be above reproach, and when this is not true, Christians demand such a fallen leader be removed from leadership. (1 Timothy 3:1-7, 5:19-20) i. Volume 1, Book 11, Number 626: Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "No prayer is harder for the hypocrites than the Fajr and the 'Isha' prayers and if they knew the reward for these prayers at their respective times, they would certainly present themselves (in the mosques) even if they had to c awl." The Prophet added, "Certainly I decided to order the Mu'adh-dhin (call-maker) TO PRONOUNCE IQAMA AND ORDER A MAN TO LEAD THE PRAYER AND THEN TAKE A FIRE FLAME TO BURN ALL

THOSE WHO HAD NOT LEFT THEIR HOUSES SO FAR FOR THE PRAYER ALONG WITH THEIR HOUSES." 21. Islam calls on its followers to observe Five Pillars, while all other aspects of life can be vulgar and not affect the Muslim's prospects in Paradise; The Bible calls on the Christian to submit to the total change of his life by the Spirit of God-- NO area of life and thought is the choice of the follower. (Romans 12:1-2) i. Volume 4, Book 54, Number 445: Narrated Abu Dhar: The Prophet said, "Gabriel said to me, 'Whoever amongst your followers die without having worshipped others besides Allah, will enter Paradise (or will not enter the (Hell) Fire)." The Prophet asked. "EVEN IF HE HAS COMMITTED ILLEGAL SEXUAL INTERCOURSE OR THEFT?" He replied, "Even then." 22. The Muslim looks forward to eternity in Paradise where there will be virgins who are used for eternal perpetual copulation; The Bible believing Christian looks forward to being with Jesus Christ and is delighted with that. (2 Corinthians 5:8) i. "Verily, for al-muttaqoon, there will be a success; gardens and grapeyards and young FULL-BREASTED [MATURE] MAIDENS of equal age." Sura 78:31-33 ii. "Verily, We have created [their companions] of special creation, AND MADE THEM VIRGIN-PURE [and undefiled], beloved [by nature], equal in age." Sura 56:35-37 iii. "...whom no man or jinn has touched before them." Sura 55:56 iv. "And [there will be] HOURIS WITH WIDE LOVELY EYES [as wives for the pious], Like unto preserved pearls." Sura 56:22-23 v. "In them will be [maidens] restraining their glances, whom no man or jinn has touched before them, Then which of the favours of your Rabb will you deny? Like unto rubies and coral." Sura 55:56-58 vi. = Muhammad said the witness of a woman was half the value of the witness of a man; and Muhammad said a women goes to Paradise because she satisfies her husband sexually; The Bible teaches that a husband is to love his wife and be willing to die for her. (Ephesians 5:25) i. Bukhari Vol.3 Number.826. Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: The Prophet said, "Isn't THE WITNESS OF A WOMAN EQUAL TO HALF OF THAT OF A MAN?" The women said, "Yes." He said, "This is because of the deficiency of a woman's mind." ii. Muslim Book.008 Number Abu Huraira (Allah he pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may, peace be upon him) as

saying: When a man invites his wife to his bed and she does not come, and he (the husband) spends the sight being angry with her, the angels curse her until morning. iii. (We have to ask ourselves: if a woman dies right after she has refused the husband's "invitation" will she go to hell? Clearly, seeing that she had been the object of the angels' curse, that seems a pretty plausible scenario. We logically have to conclude that if a woman refuses the husband's invitations, she will not go to heaven) 24. Muhammad called upon his servants to fight; Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world; if My kingdom were of this world, then would My servants fight...but now is My kingdom not from here" (John 18:36). i. Sura 9:29 Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger. 25. Muhammad ordered death to the Jews (see A.Guillaume, The Life of Muhammad, Oxford University Press [1975], p. 369); Christ ordered that the gospel be preached "to the Jew first" (Romans 1:16). i. Muhammad said: "If you gain a victory over the men of Jews, kill them." - Abu Dawud (hadith) Book 19, Number 2996 ii. "The apostle said, "KILL ANY JEW THAT FALLS INTO YOUR POWER" - Alfred Guillaume (Biography of Prophet Mohammad Published by Oxford University Press (page 369) 26. The Qur an says, "Fight in the cause of Allah" (Qu'ran 2:244); The Bible says, "we wrestle not against flesh and blood" and "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal" (Ephesians 6:12; 2 Corinthians 10:4). i. Hadith literature say: Bukhari 1:24. Narrated Ibn 'Umar: - Allah's Apostle said: "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle. 27. The Qur an says, "Fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them" (Qu'ran 9:5); Christ said, "Preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). i. Sura 9:5. But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and pay Zakat, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft- forgiving, Most Merciful.

28. The Qur an says, "I will inspire terror into the hearts of unbelievers" (Qu'ran 8:12); Jesus says to Love your enemies and pray for them (Matthew 5: 43-47) i. Sura 8:12. Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instill terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them." 29. The Muhammad s Qu'ran is a terrorist manual which condones fighting, conflict, terror, slaughter, and genocide against those who do not accept Islam; The Bible is a missionary manual to spread the gospel of peace to all the world (Romans 10:15). i. See references in #1-5, 7, 9-13, 15, 24, and Muhammad's mission was to conquer the world for Allah; Christ's mission was to conquer sin's penalty and power by substitutionary atonement (2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 3:18). i. "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle" - Bukhari 1: Muhammad considered Christ a good prophet; Christ pronounced Muhammad to be a false prophet (John 10:10; Matthew 24:11). i. Sura 9:31. They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords beside Allah, and (they take as their Lord) Christ the son of Mary; yet they were commanded to worship but One God. there is no god but He. Praise and glory to Him: (Far is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him). 32. Muhammad claimed that there was but one God, Allah; Christ claimed that He was God (John 10:30-31; John 8:58-59; John 5:18; John 14:9). i. Bukhari 1:24 Allah's Apostle said: "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle, and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform a that, then they save their lives an property from me except for Islamic laws and then their reckonin(accounts) will be done by Allah." 33. Islam is geocentric: that is; the whole universe is centered on the Kaaba in the Grand mosque in Mecca in Arabia, and all Muslims pray facing that direction; Jesus Christ is the center of all Christian worship and fellowship, for He is

"in the midst" where his saints meet anywhere on earth. (Matthew 18:20, John 4:22-23) i. "We have seen the turning of your face for guidance to the Heaven, and now we have made you turn your face (in prayer) toward the direction which is dear to you. So from now on turn your face toward the Kaaba. And O Muslims wherever you may be turn your face in prayer toward it. (Qur an 2:144) ii. JESUS CHRIST IS THE CENTER OF ALL CHRISTIAN WORSHIP AND FELLOWSHIP, FOR HE IS "IN THE MIDST" WHERE HIS SAINTS MEET ANYWHERE ON EARTH. (MATTHEW 18:20, JOHN 4:22-23) 34. Muhammad's tomb: OCCUPIED! Christ's tomb: EMPTY! i. All Muslims agree that the body of Muhammad is buried in Arabia. However, Muslims also agree that Jesus was raised to heaven. ii. Who will you serve? The Living One (Jesus) or the dead (Muhammad)? 35. Islam must be received, or you can be killed for rejecting it; The Faith offered by Jesus Christ is for "whosoever will" to receive, and all men are permitted to reject it. (Revelation 22:17, John 3:16) i. See the letter to the Julinda brothers, where Muhammad commanded them to accept Islam or "face the consequences" 36. Those who leave Islam are killed in most Islamic nations; Those who leave the true Church of Jesus Christ are allowed to do so with no revenge. i. Muhammad said: 'WHOEVER CHANGED HIS ISLAMIC RELIGION, THEN KILL HIM.'" Bukhari Vol.9 Number.57. Now, is a Muslim submitted to Allah and Islam because he loves Allah? NO! He dare not leave Islam, and he is loyal purely out of fear! The true Bible believer is loyal to Jesus Christ purely out of love. (1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him (Yeshua), because he first loved us.)

Acknolwedgements: I wanted to acknowledge a brother in the faith whom I greatly appreciate and who has been a great encouragement over the years in my own Christian faith for his hard work in finding the evidences from the Quran and the Bukhari.
