5 Annual National Ijtema Syllabus Majlis Atfalul Ahmadiyya Australia 2018 Rules & Criteria for Ilmi Competitions Tiawat (Recitation of the Holy Quran) Criteria Description 30 Marks Pronunciation & Recitation articulation of letters, correct pronunciation of words and following all rules of correct recitation (e.g. AlMadd, Tashdeed, Tanween, Qalqala, Ikhfā, Izhār, Iqlab, Idghām) Tarannum / Melody Delivery, Flow, and Voice Rhythmic recitation; overall sweetness of delivery, pleasant melodious voice. I. Following rules for stops, pauses, and joining words II. Clear, crisp, and strong voice; III. Appropriate delivery, volume, and speed Nazm Competition (No Repetition allowed) Criteria Description 30 Marks Pronunciation & Recitation I. pronunciation of words (with some exceptions where allowed) II. Appropriate stops and pauses Melody Delivery, Flow, and Voice Overall sweetness of Delivery, attractiveness and pauses. 6 Speech (for Extemporary speech for Oral Presentation) - Time allowed for the speech competition is 3 minutes and 2 min for Extemporary Speech - At-Tashahhad time will not be included in speech time; however, marks will be deducted if it is recited incorrectly Criterion Description 30 Marks Content Use of verses of the Holy Qur ān, Ahādith, Quotations And or / or Poetic Verses. Style of Delivery and Voice 1. Confidence and continuity. 2. Clear, crisp, and strong 15 Marks voice; 3. Appropriate delivery, volume, and speed. Oral Presentation Presents all or most of the speech from memory 5 Marks Azan Competition Criterion Description 30 Marks Pronunciation articulation of letters and correct pronunciation of words Tarannum/Melody Rhythmic recitation; overall sweetness of delivery, pleasant melodious voice. 7 Quiz Competition (Yearly Syllabus & Friday Sermons of Hazoor-e-Anwar -May Allah his Helper) 1- Only 2 teams from each interstate and 3 teams from NSW regions can participate 2- There is only one Miyar for this Competition 3- Nazmeen atfal must select 2 atfal from Miyar-e-Sagheer and 2 atfal from Kabeer 4- Quiz will be compiled from yearly syllabus Booklet & Selected Friday Sermons of Hazoor-e-Anwar(atba), following are some examples a. Life of Muhammad (saw) and Promised Messiah(as) and their successors b. 50% questions from nominated Friday sermons (Refer Yearly Syllabus- All Friday Sermons of November & December 2017) Individual Assessments (Best Tifal of the Year) (only selected Atfal can participate who are nominated for BEST Tifal of the year) Following is the selection criteria against each region (selection should happen on region level) NSW = 4 from whole region QLD = 2 from whole region Victoria = 2 from whole region SA = 2 from whole region - There is only one Miyar for Best Tifal (you can send names from any age group) - Each selected Tifal has to bring his namaz chart with Nazim Sb atfal and Qaid Majlis Approval - Criteria is explained in Atfal yearly syllabus on (please read the instructions carefully) - All selected atfal has to fulfilled mandatory criteria, assess by Local Nazim Atfal (mentioned on yearly Syllabus) - Selected Atfal will be disqualified if his age does not match with tajneed sent by Local Nazim Atfal Instructions for Nazmeen Atfal 1- Make sure send us selected names atleast 3 weeks before national Ijtema 2- Nazmeen atfal have to attend National itema or they can send representative 3- Make sure check the tajneed and tell atfal which group they belong to we will be very strict about age group.
