It doesn t mean that in the period of Dakshinaayana we get no upliftment, but only to emphasize that if we have not or didn t get enough time or circumstances being inconducive for our Adhyatama Saadhana, still can be compensated by restarting the same in this hallowed period of Uttaraayana. Our Lord Sainath is the All Effulgent Uneclipsed Sun of Knowledge. Sivacharan -- Om Shri Sainaathaaya Namaha ) OM SRI SAI AADIMADHYAANTA VARTINE NAMAH Sri Sai Sahasranama Bhashya [Meaning: - Salutations to Lord Sai who has neither a beginning, middle nor an end] Any creation in this world has to have a beginning (aadi or origin), a course of its existence (Madhya) and an end (anthya). The creation may be animate or inanimate is but a product of one of the five basic elements (Pancha Maha Bhootas) or an admixture of the same. The five elements- Space (Aakasaha), Air (Vayu), Fire (Agni), Water (Aapah), Earth or Soil (Pruthivi) also find their origin from that Supreme Principle. So, whatever that arises from these elements have to sustain on and finally end up in these elements. The vital point here is are these elements which are the source for this triumvalate activity eternal and imperishable? The answer to this question is carefully explained in our Sankhya Philosophy. It says that the Pancha Bootas take their origin from the Mahatatva (the Dynamic Principle) which further finds its root from the Aadi tatva (The Source Principle). Now the question arises- If the Dynamic principle which gives birth to the five elements itself takes its origin from the Source Principle, then what is that Source Principle? If so, is adynamicity the origin for dynamicity? The exponents of Sankhya Philosophy have very cleverly answered this question saying that the Source Principle (Aadi Tatva) is the origin for everything and is not bound by Space and time (Kaalateetah). So, when there is no association of time (viz; Kaalapramaana) then the question of dynamic or adynamic stands annihilated. The Philosophers leave their exposition at this point stating that it is that which is Imperishable, Eternal, Indescribable, Nameless, Formless, beyond the tenets of this creation and yet the root source for the entire Cosmos and conclude their commentaries saying that It THAT (Parabrahman) which neither the mind can comprehend nor the words describe but only incessant contenmplation of the same would one realize that he is THAT (Tat Tvam Asi). Shri Sainath Parabrahma though a manifest perfection of Divinity was yet fully aware of his true Self. Hence Shri Hemadpanth rightly describes in Sai Satcharitra chapters 42 and 43 Oh Sai! It is but our love and attachment to the mortal frame of yours that make us cry that you are no more with us physically,nay it is our foolhardiness that we time and again deluded by your Maaya, fail to recognize that you the Timeless Eternal One who manifested in a form as a part of your amorous sport of this Universal Play. The latter is born out of vaasanas may be god or bad but the former is devoid of any vaasanas. Anything bound by the vaasanas are temporary and have an end but devoid of the same the state would be completely different. Happiness take us to a state of ecstasy where we are enjoying the state that we are in, completely blinded by the sense of ownership over the state in which we are. In Bliss we are in perfect communion with Self (viz; Aatmaraama), in a perfectly balanced state where we are never carried away by the dualities of Life, in other words a perfectly realized One (as said by Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita as Sthitah Parjnah). At this state of Bliss, Sthita Prajna will identify that He is none but the Supreme One and He alone pervades the entire cosmos and nothing exists devoid of HIM. Free Mobile Clinic facility extended to 16 more villages- Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi). The free Medical Service Mobile Clinic started by Shri Sai Baba SansthanTrust (Shirdi) last year on a trial basis has got an overwhelming response. Hence, Sansthan has decided to further extend this service as informed by the Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Shri.Ajay More. Shri. More said In and around Shirdi there are many remote villages where people cannot afford to go to big hospitals or clinic for treatment. Similarly in these places due to prevailing superstitions and poor financial conditions, many people cannot get good treatment from the reputed hospitals. Keeping in mind of such people, the three Member Committee had decided to start a free mobile clinic facility. This facility was inaugurated on the auspicious muhurtha of Makara Sankaranthi i.e on 14th January On a trial basis the mobile clinic was started on the routes of Nandurki-khurdh-wes-Bahadarpur-Ranjangoan, Deshmukh, Kakdi, and the residents of these places heartily welcomed the free service of mobile clinic. Between 14th January 2013 to 31st December 2013 totally 28,343 patients got benefited. Due to the successful response from the people who have benefitted, it has been decided to expand this facility. The three member committee has decided to include 4 villages on each route. This facility has been started on 4 different routes, which includes 16 villages i.e. Nandurki, Khurd, Vaalki, Wes, Bahadrapur, Pimpalas, Kelwad,Kakdi, Ranjangoan Deshmukh, Nirmalpimpri, Morwaadi, Choulkewaadi, Ranjangoan Khu.., Napaawaadi, Rampurwaadi, Ekrukhe and Ganeshnagar. This facility has been started on rotational basis in these places. Because of the huge positive response from the people, the committee has finalized on buying new mobile clinic vans which are fully equipped. Shri more said: Now Shirdi Sai Baba has become a universal god and has become very famous not only across the country but also in the entire World. Therefore people throng to Shirdi from all the parts of the country and world to have darshan at Samadi Mandir in Shirdi. Day by day, the number of Padayatris coming along with Palanquins has also increased in a very big way. In earlier days, Padayatris used to come with Palanquins only during the 3 major festivals but now a days they are coming throughout the year. When they come along with the Palanquins, they are using all types of loud musical instruments with DJ making lot of noise pollution in and around the temple premises which is affecting the small kids and old persons. This is also resulting in sudden crowd surge raising the question of safety of the people. Therefore, considering the ever increasing crowd in Shirdi, Safety of Devotees and to avoid the occurrence of any untoward incidents, Padayatris coming with Palanquin are banned from using any type of instruments and crackers between New Saibhakta Niwas (500 Rooms) and Shirdi Police Station. Press Release on the successful running of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan s free Prasad Bhojan Scheme - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust Executive Officer Shri.Ajay More informed media persons that with the generous contribution from Sai Devotees free Sai Prasad Bhojan Scheme was started at Sai Prasadalay in Shirdi. Under this scheme, for the period from 1st Jan 2013 to 31st December 2013, out of 365 days free Sai Prasad Food was served on 204 days. Shri More said:- Shri Sai Baba had started this eternal annadan for his devotees during his sojourn in Shirdi. In order to continue the legacy set by Shri Sai Baba, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan constructed a spacious Prasad Bhojanalay in a sprawling 8 acre land at Neemgoan Korhale Border. This Prasadalay has a Dining Hall with a seating capacity of 5,500, making it possible to feed more than 100,000 devotees daily. This Prasad is partaken by about 30,000-35,000 Sai devotees on a normal day, and by about 70,000-80,000 during festivals/vacations. Approximately 1 Crore Sai Devotees are taking the Prasad Bhojan every year. Under this scheme, during the period from 1st Jan 2013 to 31st December 2013, 336 generous devotees have contributed Rs.5,11,88,813 (Rupees Five Crore Eleven Lakhs Eighty Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Thirteen rupees only). 5 A new book of leelas performed by Shirdi Sai Baba titled "Baba's Divine Symphony" authored by Sai Bhakta Vinny Chitluri and published by Sterling Publishers was released recently at a simple ceremony in Shirdi. This book comprises a wide range of leelas that describe how devotees over the years have sought refuge in Sai Baba and how Sai Baba has kept HIS promise at all times. The book speaks of how Baba reside in the hearts of His devotees, empathised with them and helped them irrespective who and where they were. These Leelas of Sai Baba clearly shows that HE is immortal and comes to the rescue of HIS devotees even to this day. Sai Bhakta Smt.Vinny Chitluri was born in Arvankadu (Nilgiris), and was educated in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. She did her postgraduation in Paediatrics from kalawati Saren Hospital, New Delhi. She then went to the US and was conferred the "Diplomat of the American Academy of Paediatrics" on passing the board examination. While she was in the US, she reflected on her karmic bonds with her family. As her father worshipped Sai Baba, she too has been doing so for over 60 years. Her relationship with Sai Baba is that of a "best friend" who loves her unconditionally. She retired from the medical profession at the age of 50. She then came to Shirdi in the year 1994 and settled permanently there. Then she started exhaustive research on Sai Baba. She soon realized that 'the more she learned about HIM the more ignorant she was'. She also opines that it would take many births to understand this inscrutable God and that her quest continues... This book contains 365 wonderful leelas of Shirdi Sai Baba beautifully narrated by Sai Bhakta Smt.Vinny Chitluri and is reasonably priced at Rs.250. Well known Sai Personality from Vellore Shri.Masilapuram Manickem, fondly called as "Udi Baba" by Sai Devotees around the world, passed away in his home town Vellore on 13th January 2014, Monday. He was aged 60 years. He retired as Assistant Registrar of Societies (DIG) under Government of Tamilnadu. Known for his healing abilities Udi Baba used to apply the sacred Sai Baba UDI on the forehead of Chronic Patients suffering from various diseases. He had established a Charitable Organisation, which distributes sewing machines to needy & distressed women every year. On 1st January 2014, He was in Shirdi for New Year & offered prayers to Baba.
