1 Pray for Praxeis Praxeis is an ever-growing movement of passionate followers of Jesus making disciples that multiply in all the world 2017 Our vision Is to see an army of workers in this nation, making disciples that form churches and multiply everywhere. We are focussing intently on the whole nation and are believing to make disciples in every community, regional centre and city in Australia. We are focussed on a saturation Church planting vision. We are also involved in sending workers to the nations, the unreached- to do the same everywhere. We believe that Jesus great commission does not finish with the borders of Australia PRAY.GO..DISCIPLE.MULTIPLY
2 Thank you for praying for Praxeis Prayer is essential - it is what makes a move of God a reality, not just a wish. Thank you for being part of this. In this booklet you will find a short explanation of who we are, and snapshots of current workers to help you to pray. We have also included a 30 day prayer guide, and at the back, more ways you can get involved in praying. Check our website for any updates! Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God s will for you in Christ Jesus 1 Thessalonians 5 v 17
3 What does Praxeis do? We PRAY- abundant, constant, passionate and persevering prayer; vital to seeing a movement of God begun, sustained and kept strong We GO- obeying God and following him into the areas, communities and people groups he sends us to; looking prayerfully for ways to engage with people and communities; looking for people who are already spiritually open, hungry, and eager to share with their community networks ( people of peace ) and helping them to discover Jesus through discovery groups based on Discovery Bible Study (DBS) We DISCIPLE- prayerfully coaching and mentoring people of peace as they learn to obey God and themselves bring others within their community into an obedient relationship with Jesus through Discovery groups which they lead MULTIPLY multiplication is built in to the discovery and discipleship process from the beginning and fuelled by ongoing prayer, mentoring, coaching and training
