We provide our bounce house, face painters, and food at the Landsdowne event each year. The event is from 6:00-8:30 pm, set up time TBD. We will need volunteers to help set up, tear down, grill & serve food, and help with the bounce house & face painting. So far this year, we have donated 872 pounds of squash, tomatoes, eggplant, hot peppers, and melons to Koinonia. 5 Sermon Outline God Is A God of Love A.W. Tozer, I can no more do justice to this awesome and wonder-filled topic than a child can grasp a star. Still, by reaching toward the star the child may call attention to it and even indicate the direction one must look to see it. And so, I stretch my heart toward the high, shining love of God so that we may be encouraged to look up and have hope. Eros- refers to erotic or romantic love Storge- refers to family love Phileo- refers to brotherly love Agape- refers to God s unconditional love Zephaniah 3:17 (NLT), For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs. Psalm 36:7 (NLT), How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings. Psalm 63:3 (NCV), Because your love is better than life, I will praise you. Isaiah 38:17 (CEV), It was for my own good that I had such hard times. But your love protected me from doom in the deep pit, and you turned your eyes away from my sins. Deuteronomy 10:15 (NLT), Yet the Lord chose your ancestors as the objects of his love.

6 Sermon Outline Deuteronomy 7:7-8 (MSG), GOD wasn t attracted to you and didn t choose you because you were big and important the fact is, there was almost nothing to you. He did it out of sheer love, keeping the promise he made to your ancestors. 1 John 3:1 (CEV), Think how much the Father loves us. He loves us so much that he lets us be called his children, as we truly are. 1 John 4:16 (NCV), And so we know the love that God has for us, and we trust that love. God is love. Those who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. Ephesians 3:17-19 (NCV), I pray that Christ will live in your hearts by faith and that your life will be strong in love and be built on love. And I pray that you and all God's holy people will have the power to understand the greatness of Christ's love how wide and how long and how high and how deep that love is. Christ's love is greater than anyone can ever know, but I pray that you will be able to know that love. Then you can be filled with the fullness of God. Romans 5:6-8 (NIV), You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While were still sinners, Christ died for us. John 3:16 (NIV), For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. Human love is conditional but God s love is unconditional Human love is stingy but God s love is sacrificial Human love is selfish but God s love is serving Human love holds grudges but God s love forgives 1 John 1:9 (NIV), If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Human love is narrow but God s love is wide Ephesians 3:18 (NCV), And I pray that you and all God s holy people will have the power to understand the greatness of Christ s love how wide and how long and how high and how deep that love is.
