1 March 2007 From Our Emmaus Community Lay Director: Hello Emmaus family. I believe it will be a great new year in 2007.During this winter season, please set aside some time to "Be still and know that He is God." Is there someone you would like to sponsor for an upcoming walk? Is there something special your reunion group wants to do? A friend reminded me that the ground has to lay fallow-resting- getting ready for the spring planting. He has great plans for us. Jeremiah 29:11 is my favorite verse. Please pray for Emmaus - His wisdom, protection and blessings. 3 April 2007 From Our Emmaus Community Lay Director: Hello Brothers and Sisters in Christ. I hope you are well and enjoying the beauty of the spring. It is my favorite season of the year- new lifenew hope- new birth. Easter is approaching. He is risen- the best news I know. The book IF YOU WANT TO WALK ON WATER, YOU HAVE TO GET OUT OF THE BOAT by John Ortberg has been a blessing. It is about Peter walking on the water-faith, trust, hope. Joseph had dreams, but it was years of trials before he saw them come to pass. But...God was with him. David was in the palace of King Saul with his friend Jonathan, who was his best friend. His wife was a princess, the people praised him, he was anointed to be King by Samuel. Then, he lost all- Saul tried to kill him, his best friend stayed with his father, his wife was given to another-samuel was old and did not go with him. He ended up with his enemies-pretending to be crazy-so his life would be spared. Then he had 200 followers who were in debt, had troubles, etc. Finally, while living in a cave, David had the opportunity to kill Saul and be the King. But, He would rather be in the cave with God, than be the king at that time without Him. So, my friends, are you in the cave, headed towards a cave, or in the palace? God is with us and that is the best place to be. Let us keep walking with our Mighty God. Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength. Even youths will faint and be weary, and the young will fall exhausted; but those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, and they shall mount up with wings like eagles,. They shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:28-31 Since much of life is walking let us press into Him and walk on. De Colores Lisa Ramsey Tomorrow morning, the surgeon began, I ll open up your heart You ll find Jesus there, the boy interrupted. The surgeon looked up, annoyed I ll cut your heart open, he continued, to see how much damage has been done.. But when you open up my heart, you ll find Jesus in there, said the boy. The surgeon looked at the parents, who sat quietly. When I see how much damage has been done, I ll sew your heart and chest back up, and I ll plan what to do next. But you ll find Jesus in my heart. The Bible says He lives there. The hymns all say He lives there. You ll find Him in my heart. The surgeon had had enough. I ll THE HEART tell you what I ll find in your heart. I ll find damaged muscle, low blood supply, and weakened vessels. And I ll find out if I can make you well. You ll find Jesus there too. He lives there. The surgeon left. The surgeon sat in his office, recording his notes from the surgery,...damaged aorta, damaged pulmonary vein, widespread muscle degeneration. No hope for transplant, no hope for cure. Therapy: pain killers and bed rest. Prognosis: Here he paused, death within one year. He stopped the recorder. Why? he asked aloud. You ve put him here; You ve put him in this pain; and cursed him to an early death. Why? The Lord answered and said The boy, My lamb, was not meant for your flock for long, for he is a part of My flock, and will forever be. Here in My flock, he will feel no pain, and will be comforted as you cannot imagine. He has done his duty: I did not put My lamb with your flock to lose him, but to retrieve another lost lamb. YOU! The surgeon wept. He sat beside the boy s bed. The boy awoke and whispered, Did you cut open my heart? Yes, said the surgeon. What did you find? asked the boy. I found Jesus there, said the surgeon. 7 May 2007 From Our Emmaus Community Lay Director: Dear Emmaus Family, Hello. I hope you are enjoying the beauty of His creation. Spring reminds me again of His goodness and hope for the life He gives. As a little girl of eight, I remember not being able to see the board clearly at school. I think I will always remember the amazing clearness of the details of the leaves, when I got my first pair of glasses. Sight is so precious to me. In high school, it was so exciting to get contacts, and to see even clearer. At school in Texas, I had a roommate, who also had two brothers, who were born blind. Because she had never seen, she wasn't sure if she would want too. I assured her, she would love sight. Because her retina was not connected to her brain, and it was a medical impossibility to attach it to the brain- she said it was such a miracle because Christ had healed a man who was born blind-christ did the physical and spiritual- much lately. impossible. Psalm 139:16 Says, "His eyes beheld In mid-march, I hit the side of my head my unformed substance; in your book on a movable basketball goal. Youch!!! were written, every one of them, the About 30 minutes later, I started having days that were formed for me, when as some light flashes in my right eye. They yet there were none of them." I know continued on and off all weekend. At that He does not see things as I do-and first, I thought, maybe I am just I have been praying to see things, circumstances etc. as He does. Sunday night, I talked with the nor ear heard, nor the heart of man as it is written, What no eye has seen, doctor and spent my first morning of conceived, what God has prepared for spring break at the eye clinic. Praise eye will see him,..." the Lord! I have thought about sight- DeColores, Lisa Ramsey Fellowship and Service A Great Combination Volunteers in the kitchen are not only a blessing to the Walk, Flight, or Journey but also a blessing to the individuals that serve. The fellowship of Christians is always a time of spiritual renewal for me. As we sing, laugh, pray, and tease each other I have come to realize how much this community has become a part of my life and a sustaining force in my quest for a closer relationship with Christ. I have thanked God and will continue to thank Him for the opportunity to serve Him in this way. What a blessing! However, along with this service there are some responsibilities. There is always a plastic container in the kitchen with Donations printed on it. This would be very much appreciated in our effort to offset the cost of the food for the wonderful helpers. Many of you probably did not even see the container or understand the purpose of it. The money is put to good use. Another misunderstanding has come with the published times for the serving of meals. It is wonderful when people take time from their very busy lives to come and serve others as they were served. The misconception has been that there is no real need to come well before the meal or to stay after the meal has been finished. Often, the clean-up and preparation become more of a need than having people there to serve the meals. Food must be put away, dishes washed, preparation for the next meal, cleaning and resetting the tables, and the list goes on. If you can work some time into your schedule to come and stay a little longer, it will make a significant difference in effectively feeding the pilgrims or caterpillars during the weekend. De Colores, Brooke Blair

8 Page 2 Reunion Groups: According to the EMMAUS literature, the reunion group "is one of the chief values of the Emmaus movement -- one of the greatest treasures the Walk to Emmaus contains". Those are pretty powerful words considering the impact of going on a walk was for me and I trust for each of you as well. I have a great deal of respect for the wisdom of the Emmaus movement and trust in the truth of the importance placed on the reunion group. It is important for the strength of GSMEC, and it is important for you. As the literature says, "it is well-nigh impossible to go it alone." and "the Christian life is strengthened and deepened by being shared" in a reunion group. I know my life has, how about you? Are you associated with a group of two to six committed Christians to share your spiritual walk and to hold each other accountable? If so, would you share that information with the community? We are trying to build a data base of reunion groups to share with others and pass on information about community needs. Send information about your reunion group to reunion.groups@gsmec.org. Include information on the group name, meeting time and location, and the name of a contact and phone number and . We will publish this information from time to time in the hopes of encouraging others to join or allow you to mentor someone trying to start a new group. DeColores, Richard Schulman Articles for the Newsletter Need to get information out to the Emmaus Community? Want to congratulate or commend someone? Want to offer a service? Please plan to do this via the GSMEC monthly newsletter. Every effort will be made to have a newsletter ready for you each month. In order to do this, information is needed from you, and this can be submitted to me at anytime during the month. However, to have an article printed in any upcoming monthly newsletter it must be given to me by the end of the previous month. Mr. Lee Carleston and Ms. Denise Walton served as Agape Outside Coordinators on Men s Walk #69 and Women s Walk #70, respectively, and they and their Teams did a fantastic job of sharing God s love anonymously. It s such a blessing to work behind the scenes that some have done it two Walks in a row!! If you were on the AO Teams, or the Conference Room Teams, or if you served in any way to support GSMEC s spring Walks, I thank you and praise God for your commitment to His work in our Community. Two more Walks are still to come in 2007: Men s #71, September 20-23; and Women s #72, November 1-4. That means team selection is underway and preparation meetings will begin soon and continue throughout the summer. Now s the time to begin crafting those agape gifts we will need: Bed agape: 32 pieces Dining & Conference Room: 60 pieces Show God s selfless love by labeling with church or reunion group names only, please. And if anyone out there wants to volunteer for one of the Outside Teams this fall, just call or me. He lives! Gratefully, Pam Wise, Agape Chairperson ; pwise@sidgilreath.com

11 June 2007 From Our Emmaus Community Lay Director: Hello Emmaus family. School is out, and it is almost summer. The Lord is letting me go to Camp Wesley Woods to work some weekends. I am excited, except for two things. Last year, my friend Sheryl and I went to visit Joy. We saw a bear twice. While Sheryl and I got in the car to pray, Joy ran after it yelling and throwing rocks. So, I do not want to see any bears, or poisonous snakes. I know Genesis 1:26 is true. "Then God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth." I have thought about the authority He gives us. I taught four and five year olds this past school year. They are precious, but often a handful. Sometimes, when they were getting rowdy and out of control, I thought, I have authority in this classroom. God wanted me to exercise it and take the authority back. My challenge was to walk in His love as I led. Also, I do not want to be afraid, when He gives me authority. I hate that part in me, because I am not trusting in Him and His word. Isaiah 41:10 says, "fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, and I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand." So, please pray for me, that I will be bold and courageous. I am pray- ing for you, that you will take the authority He has given you, or take it back if you have given it away, and walk in His love and power. Love and prayers, Lisa Ramsey There is a great need for members of the GSMEC and GSMCC to prayerfully sponsor pilgrims and/or caterpillars for walks or flights. This is how we keep our community fresh and alive. The last mens walk was in jeopardy for a time when there was a serious lack of participants. There have been scheduled flights for Journey that have been cancelled due to lack of sponsored participants. We only have Journey Flights 1 and 2 so far because we have been unable to have another due to lack Sponsorship Keeps Us Growing of sponsorship. The next scheduled Flight is a combination Chrysalis and Journey Flight in hopes that we will have enough community support to continue with our Journey program. Journey is a wonderful opportunity to get our college aged people involved and a needed part of our community s ministry. The Chrysalis board members have worked and prayed very hard to design an alternative way to keep Jouney a part of this community. Please support and help their efforts by sponsoring a young person for the Flight scheduled for September 1-3. If everyone does their part to support this program it can succeed. Please pray about it. DeColores Brooke Blair

12 Page 2 Emmaus Board Have you ever considered or thought about being on the board? What is it, or what is the commitment? What do you do? There are fifteen positions on the board. Usually, five each year go off the board and five new singles/couples come on the board. The position is for three years, and there are various jobs. The goal is to chair or lead a position; such as Agape or Kitchen, and to enlist the community members to be on committees and to help do the jobs. We try to have a planning retreat in January, and the board members usually meet before the Gatherings once a month. Please pray and consider if God would like you to be on the board. There will be five openings (couples share a position), which would begin in January You would be voted on by the community in November. Please notify one of the board members if you are interested. DeColores, Lisa We Need Childcare Helpers If anyone knows of someone who would be willing to provide child for the Gatherings please notify Melissa Zollinger. She needs two people, and they do get paid to do this. One of the two can be a teenage who is at least 16 years of age. You can contact Melissa by using the following information. A new café offering gelato (ice cream. Italian style) and a complete coffee bar is located in the Cokesbury Center, 9915 Kingston Pike, Knoxville. Owner Bev Ketchum (Walk #223 NE Indiana) chose the festive name De Colores after learning the song on her Emmaus Walk. The coffee shop is indeed bright with colors, between the gelato and the artwork and coffee will brighten your day! Mention that you saw this notice in the GSMEC newsletter and get a latte or a scoop of gelato as 4th day agape (served with love and for free). Melissa Zollinger at or mkzollinger@hotmail.com Our Sincere Sympathy The GSMEC and GSMCC are deeply sorry for the loss of Bruce Galyon s mother over Memorial Day weekend. Bruce is the pastor of Central United Methodist Church in Knoxville. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to FUMC Sweetwater, TN.

15 June 2007 From Our Emmaus Community Lay Director: Hello Community Family, I hope you are enjoying the long summer days- full of light and the rain He has sent to us. "He sends rain on the just and the unjust." He is a good and great God. I've thought about seasons in our lives. "For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1 I have been in a season of sadness the last few years as two people that I love have gone to heaven. Also, I have mourned some death to some dreams. But He has brought me thru that season and is giving me a season of laughter and life. He is sweet and knows how long each season needs to last. At times, the seasons seem to overlap-but there is an ending and yet another beginning. One of the best books I have ever read is Having a Mary Spirit by Joanna Weaver..It is about forgiveness, walking in the Spirit and other topics. One illustration she mentioned on forgiveness is so helpful. When we are in bondage or chained to something, if there is a link that is broken- it helps to set us free. It weakens the chain. In her life, she was addicted to reading Christian fiction and felt like the Lord wanted her to do a yearlong fast and not read any. It was her way of escape from life. Well, she obeyed, and had more time to read the Bible. She also had time to exercise and lost 35 pounds. (She continued the Christian fast for 4 years but now reads some-but it does not control her). It encourages me to obey Him. So my brothers and sisters, what season are you in now? Remember and be encouraged there is an ending as well as some new beginnings. Let's keep obeying Him and feel those chains of bondage loosing their grip. He is Great and Mighty." And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." 2 Corinthians 3:18 I love you. 19 August 2007 From Our Emmaus Community Lay Director: Hello Community Family, Last night, I was in a storm. I was at a friend's house, and it started to rain. We moved to the porch- it was so peaceful and refreshing. The breeze was blowing, the rain was falling, and in the distance you could hear the thunder rumble. I could feel His presence- it was delightful. Many years ago, I was in a thunder storm-driving across the mountains from Asheville. It was dark, lightning, and thundering. I was leading the traffic and several tractor trailor trucks were behind me. I could hear their brakes schreeching-close behind me. I was clutching the steering wheel, and I was afraid. He was with me, but it was a different feeling than last night. Right now, I am in a storm, as well as several people that I love. I am comforted by Isaiah 43:2-3 "When you pass through the waters I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through the fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior..." So, whether your storm is delightful, or full of fear... Rejoice, for He is with us, is in charge, and has all power. Love and prayers, Lisa Ramsey P.S. There is an International Newsletter available to you at lists.asp, and there is a fall Gathering in Columbia, South Carolina. Also, The Upper Room Daily Devotional Guide is available at subscribe.html De Colores!! Lisa PRAYER DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE!! As we all reflect on our walks, the one thing that everyone can agree upon is the feeling we received when we discovered that so many were praying for us during our walks. When we looked up at the wall and saw the Prayer Vigil board all filled out for each minute we spent on our walks, we begin to realize that we are never, never alone in our daily walks, and that God and the Emmaus community really loves and cares for us. The Men's walk is slated for September We will all want to participate in praying for our pilgrims during their walk. To sign up for a time slot please call Jerry or Karen Lang at or us at gklang@comcast.net. Better yet, sign up for several time slots and have members of your church select times from there. 21 Chrysalis & Journey News Thanks to all who gave so much for the Kingdom over the weekend. The Holy Spirit was powerfully present through so many and those smiles on the butterflies' faces at the end of the flight say it all. Get rested and lets us strive to make our next flight even better. I think our goal should be to approach new congregations to let them know what we are doing and spread this wonderful experience beyond our current group. We also need to continue to pursue the college age group and actively challenge ourselves and our kids where they are to be bold and bring more caterpillars. Rest today and let's hit the ground running soon to begin thinking about ways to get the word out. God Bless to all. Peace. 23 August 2007 From Our Emmaus Community Lay Director: Hello, Emmaus Family, I am so glad that fall is here and hopefully cooler weather is on the way. It is special to see how creation glorifies God. Although the people that I love are going through hard times lately, God comforts us in our affliction so that we can comfort those that are afflicted. It is sweet that he sends his Holy Spirit when no one else can come. He also sends people who love Jesus to give us the help and comfort we need..to encourage, exhort and give us hope. The men s walk was a real blessing for everyone involved in any way. God came and did many mighty works. I thank you as a community for all your work and for being the hands and feet of Jesus. May God richly bless you. Love and prayers, Lisa Ramsey P.S. Remember that we are having our workday at Central U.M.C. in Knoxville on the 13 th. There will be breakfast on Saturday morning and the day will end with a chili cook-off. Please plan to come and help, even if it is only for a short time, whatever you can spare. Everyone is needed and welcome. With Men s Walk #71 in the bag, we are now focused on Women s Walk #72, which is just around the corner on November 1-4. Remember: we need 60 pieces for Conference Room or Dining Room agape gifts; 32 pieces for pilgrims bed gifts. Food and drinks are always needed for the snack table, too. As I write this, I am still without an Agape Outside Coordinator for #72. In Mark 10:42 Jesus told us whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. I know God has a former Women s Walk Lay Director or other experienced servant to lead the Team of volunteers who stand ready to work for His glory for 72 hours. Who will be His hands and feet for Patti Ault and her Conference Room Team and most of all for the pilgrims He has planned to reveal Himself to on the Road to Emmaus this time? I am counting on Christ to answer my prayers for an AOC. Call me at or e- mail me at pwise@sidgilreath.com if Christ can count on you! Pam Wise What Would Make it Better for You? There is little doubt in our minds that every one of you reading this article had a wonderful experience with the Holy Spirit on your Walk to Emmaus.; and we trust that you have gone back to your churches and become more effective Christians contributing to the work of our Lord. That is a major goal of Emmaus. Another goal is for members to become active in small accountability groups, to continue your experience from your Walk. We cannot forget that our Emmaus community is an all volunteer organization and the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit can only continue by the efforts of many people. We would love to have more members attend the Gatherings. It is there that you will meet people and be made aware of the many opportunities to participate and help on future Walks, and is such a blessing to give back just a little of what we received on our Walks. We know that many are already involved in Chrysalis and Kyros and other activities in their churches. But we trust that many would have the opportunity to be involved in Emmaus at least on an occasional basis. So the question is, what could the Emmaus Community do to be more attractive to you so you would attend some Gatherings. Would a change in location help? Should the meetings rotate to different churches occasionally to be more convenient to different groups? Would a night other than Saturday be better? If so, what night? Would a different format be more enticing? What ideas do you have? Please let us know by sending your ideas to hbblair@bellsouth.net or write to us at B. Blair, 326 Cherry St., Sevierville, We would love to hear your ideas. Even better yet, come to the next Gathering and talk to us. You would bless us with your presence. DeColores, Richard Schulman

27 August 2007 From Our Emmaus Community Lay Director: Dear Emmaus Family, Hello." O give thanks to the Lord for He is good." At this time of thanksgiving- there is so much to thank God for. We have family, friends, jobs, warm places to live, good food to eat, transportation etc. I just returned from a mission trip in Mexico with Powell Church. We went with Way of the Cross which is a ministry that evangelizes and helps to equip pastors. Many people became Christians- it was exciting to see God move. It makes me realize how blessed I am in America, and it was convicting. \ I hope your Thanksgiving season is full of His rich joy and peace. Love and prayers, Lisa Ramsey P.S. Please pray for the Women's walk, and we would love for you to serve- being the hands and feet of Christ. DeColores. But that's like saying if you go to McDonald's you are a Quarter Pounder. A woman was asked by a co-worker, "What is it like to be a Christian"? The co-worker replied, "It is like being a pumpkin. God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. Then he cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff. He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc., and then! He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see." 31 November 2007 From Our Emmaus Community Lay Director: Dear Emmaus Family, Hello. I hope your Thanksgiving was a time of refreshment, joy and peace. I've thought about Psalm 100:4-5. "Enter into His gates with Thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations." for many to come into His kingdom - to love Jesus. Emmaus is a blessing, and I believe a retreat that is mightily used by Him. Thank you for being part of the community and helping others to hear His voice. Love and prayers, Lisa P.S. Seize each day and live as if it was your last day on earth. As the years seem to pass so quickly, I am realizing more and more how fleeting life is and want whatever I do to please Him. It seems like yesterday that I was in my twenties with most of my life before me. As time is ticking... there is much evaluation going on. Often the choices are between good and best. One priority is At this special time of year, I am overflowing with thanks: to God for His goodness, especially for His provision on the recent Walks; and to those of the Community who served for His glory. Lee Carlston not only assisted the Agape Outside Team on Men s Walk #71, but he made the photos for both #71 and #72. John Grigsby is another name that comes to mind. As a sponsor of pilgrims on both Walks, he was a big help, simply by fulfilling his duties and responsibilities as a sponsor. But wait, there s more! The women of Walk #72 were blessed to have Liana Woods serve as Agape Outside Coordinator, leading a Team of women including Amanda Shinn, Judy Gastenwald, LeAnn We have 5 openings on the board. Please pray over the people who have volunteered to serve on the board. We will vote for the volunteers at the December Gathering. MOST IMPOR- TANTLY, if you feel led to be on the board please contact me or any other board member. Agape, Agape, Agape Marshall, Debbie Pope, Nancy Bush, and Bev Hoppenworth. Thanks (again!) to Stan and Dixie Cox for their help with the Welcome Packets, for Denise Walton supplying the Walk Roster, and for Marsha Haas, who prepared the photo keys. Thank you, thank you, thank you to the Community members who helped out with agape gifts and food or offered your hands and feet in service while you were at Central UMC during the weekend. We are blessed to have committed members who pitch in wherever they are needed. All of you are answers to prayer! As the humbling learning experience of my term on the Board comes to a close, I apologize for the failings of this ol cracked vessel! I thank God for His grace, mercy, and patience, and I appreciate the support and encouragement of the Board members I served with, as well as the members of the Community who were there for me. I am proud to be a member of GSMEC. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15 De Colores, Pam Wise GSMEC Agape Chair

32 Page 2 PRAYER Psalm 50: in the Living Bible state What I want from you is your true thanks; I want your promises fulfilled. I want you to trust me in your time of trouble, so I can rescue you, and you can give me glory. As I was meditating this morning and thanking God for all of my many blessings I could not leave out my Emmaus community and all the blessings that have come from the events and members. I thanked God for not just my family of blood relatives but all the family that comes from being part of a community of believers. We have so many opportunities for prayer in our lives and thanking God for what He has done is an important part of our daily prayers. He desires to know that we recognize and believe that his daily acts of grace are gifts He has given us. He covets our thank you! The acronym ACTS gives us a daily guide for our times of prayer. Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication are the pieces of each prayer that Jesus taught to his disciples. We have all memorized the Lord s Prayer which is a beautiful example of ACTS. As you celebrate not only the Thanksgiving holiday but move on into the Christmas season, remember to praise God with Adoration, Confess to him your shortcomings and lack of understanding of why events happen, Thank him for your family, friends, Emmaus community and the blessings in your life. Then begin to ask him (supplication) for strength, comfort, protection, guidance and include your fellow Emmaus brothers and sisters as part of your intercessory prayer ministry. Prayer is communicating with God and believing that He hears and is responding in accordance with His will for our lives. May you feel His love and grace in our life each day. DeColores, Karen and Jerry Lang Special Board News This is a request that all of you wonderful community members look at your busy schedules and pray fervently about serving on the Emmaus board. We are in need of willing Christians, and it just may be you. The reason for the season. God bless you all!!! I have served almost a year and found it to be a rewarding experience and well worth my time. Probably one of the surprising aspects for me was getting to know members of the community that I had had very little contact with over the years. This has been a true benefit for me. I believe that for every service you give there is always a blessing. During this blessed season please take a moment to pray to God and ask his guidance. Hopefully, he will lead one or more of you to volunteer to serve on the Emmaus Board. May you all enjoy the celebration of Jesus birth this Christmas season. Love, Brooke Blair
