2 Sunday Nights at FBC Monthly Communion Services Begin Sunday, March 5 at 6:00 p.m. Speaker: Justin Alexander, Student Minister On the first Sunday of every month we have a communion service at 6:00 p.m. By making the Lord's Supper the focal point of the service, we hope to make it meaningful for everyone who attends. Each month will feature a speaker from our staff. You will have an opportunity to hear from Justin Alexander, Steve Briggs, Brian Proctor, and Dave Marshall. We will also enjoy special music from the Singing Saints, our senior adult choir, and have a time for you to request your favorite hymn. Make plans to attend these special services this year. Annie Armstrong Easter Offering Week of Prayer and Mission Study: North American Missions March 5-11 Who was Annie Armstrong ( )? She helped to found the Woman's Missionary Union (WMU) in She served as inaugural corresponding secretary for WMU. She served as WMU secretary from 1888 until During her tenure with WMU, total receipts for the Foreign Mission Board increased from $86,000 to $315,000. She was involved in ministries to children, poor, and sick people, but also felt burdened that the church should do more to evangelize the world. In one year, Annie wrote 18,000 letters encouraging people to give to missions. Why give to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (AAEO)? The AAEO changes lives forever by empowering North American missionaries to bring the gospel to the lost. With over 269 million lost people, North America and its major cities are some of the most spiritually dark places in the world. 100% of your donation goes towards reaching people in North America. 2

He is greeted with high fives, hugs and smiles from staff as he gets out of our van each morning and returns to me happy each afternoon. I always drop him off knowing he will be safe and growing in his academics and character because of the caring and compassionate staff at FBA.
