Here s some info to help you feel more comfortable during your visit: Kids are always welcome in our services, however if you d like: Childcare is provided for kids (infant-age 2) in the nursery. A Baby Care room is provided for nursing moms & energetic kids. It s in the foyer to the right as you exit the worship center. 2 ANNOUNCEMENTS ANGEL TREE GIFTS Angel Tree, a program of Prison Fellowship, reaches out to the children of prisoners and their families with the love of Christ. We have the opportunity to buy gifts for children this year. More instructions are in the Atrium. PROPOSED 2018 BUDGET The proposed 2018 budget was ed to all members at Easthaven. Members of the Stewardship Committee will be available to answer questions or discuss the budget this weekend after each service. 3 WEEKLY PRAYER SHEET 12/3/2017 Emmaus Encounter Andy and Janet Kerr Andy and Janet Kerr have a new website that they are very excited about: emmausencounter.org. You are invited to check it out. The purpose is for it to be a fully functioning, user-centered site with testimonials, what to expect during a debriefing, and the application form. If you know anyone that might benefit from the service, you can send them to the website where there are details of what they can expect, where they will be staying, the cost of the debrief, and a secure place for them to apply. The Kerr s are scheduled out about three months, so it is good to let them know it will take some planning. We arrived broken, hurt, and confused by our years in ministry. Our time of debriefing helped us sort through those years and understand why we were feeling this way. We left encouraged and refreshed from Emmaus Encounter, as well as eager to continue our journey with Christ wherever that may lead us. We are very thankful for how the Lord used the Kerr s ministry in our lives. Prayer request: There is a need of a vehicle for people who come to debrief due to an ongoing flow of clients. 4 WE PRAY FOR AN EFFECTIVE WITNESS OF THE GOSPEL BY THE FOLLOWING MISSIONARIES: Andy and Janet Kerr: Emmaus Encounter, Lakeside (see back page) Northern Lights : Middle East Paul : Christian Aid Mission, Central Asia Pray for Paul s safety, effectiveness of translation work, and witness in a hostile environment of unreached Muslim people. Jorene Williams: BCM, After School Bible Club Her car, a 1997 Honda with over 220k miles, is in need of repairs and/or an upgrade. Two items need attention soon. Pray for this need, her support is below the suggested mission amount. Kveta a Vladimir Zemanov: Vysoke Myto, Czech Republic Chris & Kim Baker: Summit Life Church, Whitefish Pray for a Children s Ministry Coordinator. Bruce & Jessica Crockett, Kyle & Marisa Rosas, Steve Crews: Gateway Church. Pray for hearts to be softened and opportunities to share the gospel. Church Planters: David & Amy Carroll, Elevation Church, Billings, MT Pray the planters prioritize their relationship with Jesus. Pray that they stay in His Word, fellowship deeply with Him in prayer, and keep their lives pure. South Asia Project: Praise! New evangelists are sharing in new areas. Carmen DeVries: Ethnos 360 in Papua New Guinea Jake & Katie Oyler: Ethnos 360 in missionary training Pray for Jake s two week trip to Thailand as he explores future ministry opportunities. Zach & Carrie Wolfe: Pioneers Ministry Pray for healing of Zach s recent knee surgery. Their toddler Vera is having night terrors most nights and has trouble sleeping. Glacier Bible College: Pray for the funds needed to build the dorms and staff house. Pray for the recruitment of the students to start Making the next generation a priority of prayer: 59% of young Christians temporarily or permanently disconnect from the church after the age of 15. Suicide is the third leading cause of death for youth ages One in four teenagers have at least one major episode of depression in high school. We need to pray for the next generation! For Purity: Pray for a restoration and renewed vision of purity for this generation. Pray for any shame to be removed by the love of Jesus.
