2 WELCOME TO BETHANY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH Enter this Church not as a stranger, but as a guest of God. May the blessings of God rest upon you, both in your coming in and your going out. For your convenience, we have a warm and loving nursery adjacent to the sanctuary, complete with an available paging system. Parking for Sunday Services The Property Team asks that we reserve the front row spaces near the entrance for the elderly, for those with special needs and for visitors. Those who may have a greater need than others just might get discouraged from attending church because they have to walk so far. Vacation Bible School begins tomorrow, July 9 th thru the 13 th from 9:00 to 12:00 for children who are 4 years old thru those completing the 8 th grade. Registration forms are at the Welcome Center desk or you can register on line at The congregation is invited to attend the closing program on Friday, July 13 th at 11:30 in the Sanctuary. 5

6 Bethany MOPS Summer Playdate Schedule Pack a lunch and bring the kids to the MOPS summer playdates! There are no MOPS meetings in the summer, but we'll be gathering to let the kids play while us moms catch up a bit. You don't need to be a member of MOPS to attend. Playdates are Thursdays at 10:30 a.m., and will be cancelled in the event of rain. How about going out to eat after a busy day we have cards available for several restaurants. We even have cards for BP and Sunoco for vacation trips. You can also purchase Giant Eagle and Shop n Save cards. This is the easiest fundraiser you will ever participate in because it doesn't cost you anymore than you already spend. Homeless children and their families are moving into new housing and you can help! Family Promise is seeking volunteers who are willing and able to help move furniture and boxes for Family Promise guest families. When a family is moving out, we contact the volunteers on our list to see who is available to help. The more, the merrier since only a few helpers are needed at a time, the more volunteers on the list, the fewer times you ll be asked to step up to help! We re also looking for volunteers, with a truck or able to drive a large van, to help pick-up furniture donated for our families. 10 Prayer for the Church Lord, we pray for the body of Christ, Your church, as we seek to be Your voice, Your feet, and Your hands: Help us to speak Your message of love for the lost, hope for the hurting, compassion for the heart of this city and nation.
