As you may know Halloween falls on a Friday night this year. So with this in mind, we are asking members of the congregation to bring your treats to the church for Trunk & Treat Night October 31. What is that you ask? You simply need to place your treats in the trunk of your car, drive to the church and park by 7:30 until approximately 8:30 p.m. The AWANA clubbers will then be brought out to your car to receive a treat. We encourage costumes and car decorations, (in good taste). As an incentive there will be prizes, (gift cards), for the top three best car/costume. This is our way of encouraging kids to come to AWANA and keeping them safe this Halloween. We look forward to your participation. 6

Since it is a tea, we are asking all participants to come in dresses, skirts or church attire. If you have access to gloves and hats, plan to wear them. African head pieces are most welcomed. All will make a wonderful and memorable photo op. Please bring your favorite tea cup and saucer to share its story with your table guests. Health Concerns During the Services If you don t feel well during a service please summon an usher or ask a neighbor in the pew to summon one so that we can adequately tend to any medical issues. Please do not be concerned about disrupting the service. We care about you! Parents, Children & the Superbox Parents, in an effort to consistently improve our worship services, we ask you to oversee your children and teenagers in the worship service so that all can be edified without great distraction. Phones and tablets can be used too by our young people to access sermon notes and the Bible online, but we ask that they refrain from other uses so that they can grow as well. If they are in grades 1-3, please sign them out of their classroom and the Superbox (last 2 rows of the auditorium right side). The Superbox is for children that have not been accompanied by parents or guardians today. It is overseen by our Deacons. Thanks in advance for your help in building up the local body.
