5 Last Day For - WOMEN S BIBLE STUDY Wednesday, June 29 th 9:30 11:30 a.m. CHILD SAFETY TRAINING - As we prepare for summer ministries and ongoing ministry it is time for our Child Safety Refresher Classes (required every three years) and a first time class for those joining us in ministry. Based on the number of people who need training, there will be additional courses scheduled. A list of our workers needing training is posted on the bulletin board. Future training dates will be posted. VBS We Need Your Help at Ocean Commotion this year!! Everyone interested in working in VBS this year please fill out the form at the VBS table in the foyer and place the form in the basket. ABBA Certificates If you shop at Shop Rite or Acme, please consider buying a gift card from either store, in denominations from $5 to $100. It is an exact exchange of money, with no surcharge, and five cents of every dollar benefits ABBA Pregnancy Crisis Center. Please stop at the Welcome Center before or after every morning service to make your purchase. It s an easy way to show you are pro-life! 5

6 WORD OF LIFE YOUTH ANNOUNCEMENTS WEDNESDAY NIGHT TEEN BIBLE STUDY - 7:00 PM SUMMER BIBLE FELLOWSHIP Make lasting connections with the FBC Youth Group this summer by hosting one of our Summer Bible Fellowships in your home. The Summer Bible fellowships are an easy, fun way to connect with our FBC teens. The Summer Bible Fellowships usually start around 6 pm on Sunday evening with a short Bible lesson and end at 8:00 pm / 8:30 pm with refreshments and fun. All you need to provide are some refreshments. We will provide the fun (board games, yard games, other activities). Dear Pastor Gary & Deacons, Thank you so much for the gift cards, the plant, and the plaque you gave us. We feel so honored to have had a part in the AWANA ministry. We will always cherish our time with the clubbers and the special bond we made with the Leaders and Helpers. Just to let you know, we re not going anywhere. We love our Lord and feel that FBC is where He wants us to be. Thank you again for your thoughtfulness. Numerous family resources are available for check-out in our Library. Various booklets are available for a suggested donation of $1 - $2 in the foyer racks to help you. (Your donation helps others as we refill.) CAC / TEEN MISSION TRIP TODAY we will be collecting clothing for our Mission Trip to Kensington in Philadelphia. We are looking for gently used clothing for men, women and children with a special emphasis on men and children. Particular items of interest would include gently used cleats, sports jerseys, shorts, basketballs, soccer balls, footballs, etc. Please call the office with questions. TEEN MISSION TRIP If you are attending the Youth Mission Trip to Kensington, your application forms to Pastor Gary, Adam Woehr or Cassandra Berry are due TODAY and there will be an important Preparation Meeting on Wednesday, June 29 th at 7 p.m. ManUP!! It s time to ManUP and pack up your family and your stuff to join us for our trip to Ocean City Saturday, July 9 th at 7:30 a.m. We ll meet at the church and caravan down to the shore. The cost of this activity is $5 per person for beach tags plus what you spend on the boardwalk. Please join us for a wonderful day of family, fun and fellowship. Health Concerns During the Services If you don t feel well during a service please summon an usher or ask a neighbor in the pew to summon one so that we can adequately tend to any medical issues. Please do not be concerned about disrupting the service. We care about you! Parents & Children Parents, in an effort to consistently improve our worship services, we ask you to sit with your children and teenagers in the worship service so that all can be edified without great distraction. Phones and tablets can be used too by our young people to access sermon notes and the Bible online, but we ask that they refrain from other uses so that they can grow as well. Tithes & Offerings FBC keeps track of all financial giving by check or cash through an envelope system. If you want a financial tax deduction statement at the end of year, please help us by requesting and using our envelope system. Please put name clearly on your envelope for the first month or two so we can be accurate in recording your giving. Gordon Johnson is our point of contact to request an envelope box.
