June9 th BrooksdaleEnvironmentalCentre,Surrey,BC Thereareonlytwentyspotssopleaseregisterearlywith gjidavis@telus.net Haney Presbyterian Church is interested in helping with the children s craft at COUNTRY FEST July at the Albion Fairgrounds. We won t be able to be there on Sunday morning however, as we ll be worshipping. The rest of the weekend is fine. We ll be doing potato stamping in the vegetable station. Paddy is looking for volunteers from our congregation. Church Family Annual Picnic When: Sunday, June 10, 2018 Time: Arrive after church at Max Gnadeberg's home, Street, east Maple Ridge (turn left north off Dewdney Trunk Rd at the Webster's Corner traffic light This is a time of fun and fellowship for all ages. Come and relax at Max's beautiful property and spend a pleasant afternoon visiting with our church family. There will be entertainment for the youth organized by Matthew and Petri. Please bring finger food to share. Tea, coffee and water will be supplied. Ice cream cones for dessert. Remember to bring lawn chairs, dishes and your mugs for coffee. Hoping to see a great turnout

Todayweliveinapost[Christendomculture:ourcontextisasocietythatdoesnotknowChristianity.The challengeforusistorediscoverournewtestamentrootsandonceagain,bewhatweare:awitnessing community. Wespenttheafternooninourchurchgroupsdiscussingboththechallengesandconflictswehave experienced.outofthatcamemorenewthingstotakeaway: Questions/Food for Thought: Howdoweencourageeachothertohaveamissionalwitnesswhentheresultsarenottangible?
