1 HAPPY Thursday! Here are some things you should know. Saturday! Meet the Fire Code Work Bee The Fire Marshall has said we need to get rid of a bunch of stuff in the basement (and in the whole building). So we have decided to have a work bee. Do you have a truck? Do you have a teenager who wants to lift things? Do you want to lift things? Do you like throwing stuff out? Come on down and help us!! (Ladies are welcome to come help too) All are welcome to join us Saturday December 1, 2018 at 9am. There will be coffee and muffins and good times. Soup Making Bee
2 We are doing another soup making bee Monday December 3 this time we are starting at 9:30am in the Kitchen. There will be tea, coffee, muffins, conversation and companionship. All are welcome. Council of General Synod Melissa Green and Dale Drozda are delegates from the Ecclesiastical Province of BC & Yukon to the Council of General Synod (CoGS). 3 From the Dean On Sunday the Dean announced a book he recommended called All Will Be Well by Julian of Norwich. He noted many people interested but took down no names. (This happens on Sunday when you are juggling a lot of information). If you are interested in this book please the office to get on the list. The cost of the book is $15.00 From the Thrift Store
4 If you are making a donation to the Thrift Store -Could everyone please clearly mark their clothing donations with the intended recipients as this year there is some confusion as to where they are meant to go. This is the time where people drop donations off to Out of the Cold and they can get a bit confusing to sort. We want to make sure the donations go where they are intended to go. Thank you Youth and Young People Children's Ministry will is taking place this Sunday during the 10am service. Join Claire as we enter into the first week of Advent: hope!!
