2 The Lord s Day CALL TO WORSHIP Hebrews 10:19-25 Leader: All: Leader: All: SONGS OF PRAISE Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, His body, and since we have a Great Priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching. 3 Classes & Other Information Church Membership During the Sunday school hour we have a class for those interested in church membership. Please speak to Pastor Andrew after the service if you would like to attend. Covenant Groups Covenant Groups are small groups that meet in homes for fellowship, encouragement, prayer, and growth in our love for one another and for Christ. Covenant Groups meet Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 PM. You are welcome to join a Covenant Group at any time. Speak to any elder for more information. Prayer Chain Your brothers and sisters in Christ would love to pray for you. Please call, text, or with any requests. Rest in the knowledge that God s people will be interceding on your behalf. Eat, drink and be merry; for tomorrow we may diet. Church Office Phone The church office main line has been down for a couple of weeks due to a storm. We hope to have it fixed this week. Electronic Giving News We've added new funds to facilitate contributions for our 2018 mission trips. If you haven't established an Easy Tithe account yet, the process is quick and easy. Instructions can be found on our website under the Give tab. Once you're set up, gifts can be made either with the app or by text to (256) If giving by text to one of these special funds, simply enter either "Greece" or "Honduras" after typing the amount you're giving. Please contact Brooke in the church office if you have any questions Listen Online Did you know that you can now listen to songs recorded live during our worship service? Just go to and search for "Mike Lunsford". That should take you to a page where you can listen to songs we have uploaded. There is also a soundcloud app for your smartphone or tablet that you can use to listen as well. You can also download the songs from the soundcloud website and burn a CD or listen to them in itunes. Please see Mike if you have any trouble accessing the songs. We hope this enhances your personal worship during the week and helps everyone learn these songs we sing together even better! Swamp John s The Quilter s Guild will be hosting a Swamp John s Supper in the fellowship hall on Tuesday, July 10th from 4-7pm. The cost is $11 per plate. Your choice of fish fillets, chicken fingers, shrimp or one of each. Served with cole slaw, french fries, hush puppies, and tea or water. Eat-in or take-out!
