Your mercy doesn t fade out. There s no bottom of the barrel when it comes to your grace. Help us to remember this and to also remind each other of it, especially when it feels least true. When doubt, fear, struggle and every kind of trouble surrounds us, we desperately want to escape the pain and darkness. But God, these times do not mean that we are alone. You remain in and around us. When we begin to look for you with this in mind, we then begin to see you everywhere. It's because of this tenacious, messy, real-life love for us that we feel the need to give praise. (continue to the next page.)

4 God, we thank you for those who are your hands and feet to us. We need them desperately. God, we likewise thank you for the privilege of being your hands and feet to others. They need us desperately. The joy and gratitude we feel for the way that you provide for us is overflowing. This is the reason that we sing. 5 Assurance of Pardon (Psalm 85) LORD, you were favorable to your land; you restored the fortunes of Jacob. You forgave the iniquity of your people; you pardoned all their sin. Selah You withdrew all your wrath; you turned from your hot anger. Restore us again, O God of our salvation, and put away your indignation toward us. Will you be angry with us forever?
