Requiem aeterman dona eis, Domine: II. IN TE, DOMINE, SPERAVI Tu ad liberandum suscepturas hominem non horruisti Virginis uterum. Tu devicto mortis aculeo, aperuisti credentibus regna coelorum. Exortum est in tenebris lumen rectis. Miserere nostri, Domine, miserere nostri. Fiat misericordia tua, Domine, super nos quemadmodum speravimus in te. In te Domine, speravi: O Lord, non confundar in aeternum. III. O NATA LUX O nata lux de lumine, Jesu redemptor saeculi, dignare clemens supplicum laudes preces que sumere. To thee praise is due, O God, in Zion, and to thee vows are recited in Jerusalem: hear my prayer, Unto thee shall all flesh come. Rest eternal grant them, O Lord: II. IN TE, DOMINE, SPERAVI Thou, having delivered mankind, did not disdain the Virgin's womb. Thou overcame the sting of death, and opened to believers the kingdom of heaven. To the righteous a light is risen up in darkness. Have mercy on us, O Lord, Have mercy on us. Let thy mercy be upon us, O Lord, For we have hoped in thee. O Lord, in Thee have I hoped: Let me never be confounded. III. O NATA LUX O born light of light, Jesu redeemer of the world, mercifully deem worthy and accept Praises and prayers from your supplicants. Who once was clothed in the flesh, for those who are lost. Or go the old-school route and come to Sermon Talkback on Wednesday or ask a minister your question after worship. LUGGAGE FOR LOVE Your help is needed! I am a member of the Pastor s Class this year. I am working on a project for Kentucky Refugee Ministries (KRM). Crestwood can help by donating hard-sided suitcases. Please bring your suitcase to the Giving Lane by Easter Sunday. I will be helping KRM staff as these are painted by refugee children at KRM during Spring Break. These pieces of art will be sold at the KRM fundraiser in June to raise money to help refugees arriving in Lexington this year. ~Thank you for your help! Evan Paden, 2016 Pastor s Class DWM MARCH SERVICE PROJECT: LEXINGTON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROGRAM The Disciples Women s Ministries is collecting donations of: hair brushes, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, and twin-sized sheet sets during the month of March. The Lexington Domestic Violence program offers several different approaches to aiding victims of domestic violence. These approaches include a residential facility for women and children, as well as, locating safe shelter for men who are survivors of domestic violence. Donations may be dropped off at our Giving Lane. Thank you! ~Debby Keener, DWM president
