The tune of refrain is after current practice, hile verses are loosely based on "Ka Inuai" version in Charles Hopkin's 1899 "loha Collection of Haaiian Songs." Psalm 98, hich I rote in 1993 for Christmas Season, is also based on same Hopkins' version.
