He spoke and mountains thrust up from the earth, vast oceans formed, and millions of colossal stars filled the sky. But His greatest ork as to create tabernacles, or bodies, for his beloved spirit children. He created man in His on image and likeness. We are the creation and masterpiece of almighty God. Because Satan does not have a body, he does everything in his poer to destroy the sanctity and holiness of the bodies e ve been given. The results of his ork are evident everyhere as e see a flood of immorality, immodesty, and pornography fill the orld. As Paul once cried out to his people, so must our Father in Heaven cry out today: Kno ye not that ye are the temple of God (1 Corinthians 3:16) Young omen of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints have the incredible blessing of understanding ho they really are. Amidst a orld of confusion and darkness, it s inspiring to kno that hundreds of thousands, even millions of ng omen across the orld stand each eek and say the simple but poerful ords, We are daughters of our Heavenly Father ho loves us, and e love him. Women ho dress modestly and think and act ith virtue carry ith them a blessing of strength and a beauty of spirit that cannot be duplicated in any other ay. Spencer W. Kimball explained that, A oman is most beautiful hen her body is clothed... Then she is at her best, and men ill love her for it. And men ill not love her more because her neck or back is bare. 3 Every one of us has had times hen e have gazed into a night bursting ith stars or atched a sunset fill the sky ith an amazing splendor. At times like these, e are reminded of the maesty of the creator s hand. He has designed us to be His most beautiful creation. It s not through makeup or size 4 designer eans that e ill become the masterpiece God designed for us to be. George Q. Cannon said, Virtue lies at the foundation of greatness. I ill live ith virtue in my thoughts and in my actions because I have promised my Heavenly Father that He can count on me to be His itness on this earth. A hole army, horses, chariots, and a great host came and surrounded Elisha and his ng servant. Elisha s servant as terrified and cried out, Alas, my master! ho shall e do Elisha replied, Fear not: for they that be ith us are more than they that be ith them. But the ng servant could see no others that ere ith them. Then Elisha turned his eyes heavenard, saying, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And, the Lord opened the eyes of the ng man; and he sa: and, behold, the mountain as full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. (2 Kings 6:1417). The situation Elisha as in seemed hopeless. Just one man and his servant surrounded by a massive army. But hen their eyes ere opened, they sa that they did not stand alone but had the mighty poer of God and the hosts of heaven ith them. Young omen of these latter days, the adversary does not ant r eyes to be opened. He does not ant to see the poer of God that is aiting to be on r side the second turn to seek it. You are a daughter of the most noble and mighty king. He has never left. He and His son, Jesus Christ, ill ever remain true to. You may feel small and eak and unimportant, but are loved by the king that rules the kingdom from hich came. You are never forgotten by Him. He and His Son ill stand by every step of the ay. They ill remind of r nobility. They ill strengthen. They ill lead along. The promise in the scriptures is everlasting: Thy God shall stand by thee forever and ever.
