I like to read books in my free time. I enjoy the time when I am reading. I like to read novels and comics most. Reading can broaden my horizon. It enhances my language competency. I can also relax myself when reading. I sometimes swim in the pool with my family. Although I am not good at it, I will put more effort into it. I have a dream. I want to be a social worker when I grow up. I want to help the poor people and make Hong Kong a better place. I need to have good interpersonal skills in order to communicate well with people and help them. It can help me become more philanthropic. There is a saying It is more blessed to give than to receive. Helping the needy can make them delighted. I can also gain happiness through helping others. I will diligently learn at this moment to prepare myself to be a good social worker.

I first learnt about the jobs of scientists on a programme called Discovery Channel. I think this job is very meaningful. I want to be a scientist because doing experiments is very exciting. I like discovering and inventing new things and therefore I want to be a scientist when I grow up. If I become a scientist, I will design some funny experiments and invent some useful tools. If I succeed, my friends and family will be very proud of me. I will also join the science club in secondary school so that I can learn more about science.

9 To succeed as a scientist, one needs to have a good memory so that they can remember all of the experiment processes. They also need to be persistent so that they can keep trying until they succeed. It is very important not to give up. I will study hard until my dream comes true. I am going to read more books about science. I will also ask my sister for help as she studies science in her school too. I will join the Science Club in my future secondary school so as to acquire more knowledge of science. I will prepare myself well for my dream job. I hope I can be one of the youngest and most successful scientists in the future and make contribution to our society.
