On 25 October there was an open house event celebrating 2 new broiler houses at Aneta Brychcy-Smulska and Hubert Smulski s Farm. Many farmers and poultry companies came to see the latest joined project from LAND- MECO and SKOV, installed by AGRO DORADCA. Also, the guests had the opportunity to listen to a lecture about water management, presented by Tomasz Krzysztoszek, DanHatch Poland. Each house is 21 x 120 meters. It is equipped with 5 lines of the new 330 pan feeding, 6 drinking lines and 6 water heaters. We wish our customer all the best. POULTRY IS GETTING EVEN BIGGER IN POLAND

The broiler houses were designed as single-storied buildings with frame steel construction and smooth surface inside.

Smooth and easily washable surfaces inside the entire house guarantee easy cleaning and disinfection. The width of all the houses is 19,4 m.

In each house, there are 8 rows of drinking lines with stainless steel installed.

3 3 BIG BEAUTIFUL BROILER HOUSES In September 2017 two brand new broiler houses were finished and equiped in Jevišovice farm. Another house will be finished during October The investor is ZES Křivsoudov s.r.o. Equipment supplier was FARMTEC a.s., who is a dealer of both LANDMECO A/S and SKOV A/S for the Czech Republic. The broiler houses were designed as single-storied buildings with frame steel construction and smooth surface inside. Thereby it is guaranteed that inner walls and ceiling are totally straight and flat with no joints. Smooth and easily washable surfaces inside the entire house guarantee easy cleaning and disinfection. The width of all the houses is 19,4 m. The length of house no. 1 is 90 meters, house no. 2 is 94,5 meters and house no. 3 is 99 meters. In each house, there are 8 rows of drinking lines with stainless steel installed. The reason why there are more drinking lines than usual is to assure that broilers have an easy access to water. There are also 4 lines of pan feeding incl. electrical hoisting. The complete technology for drinking, feeding and hoisting system was delivered by LANDMECO.

4 COMBO IS MAKING AN ENTRY IN FRANCE At the beginning of September this year the first Combo system was kicked-off in the south of France. Ptit Gone is an independent egg trader in the greater Lyon area run by the family Badol. The company has its own production facilities and is also supplied by local contract farmers. After a visit to Denmark, where they had the opportunity of seeing LANDMECOs Combo system in practice, they were convinced that this was the solution they were looking for. They needed a system with the maximum possible density/m² without compromising on the level of welfare for bird and farmer. The openness of LANDMECOs Combo system where birds and farm manager can have easy access to the system pleased them very much. As an egg trader, egg quality was also very important for him. The results based on egg quality from our existing customers speak for themselves. Together with our dealer MEF we could fit the system in an existing cage house by re-using some existing materiel, controllers etc. to minimize the loss of the old installation with a high degree of automation. Now, the birds have started to produce and everything runs very smoothly. Besides that, Flemming will be LANDMECOs layer specialist, and his huge knowledge will be used in regard to trouble-shooting and specialist assistance at ongoing projects. Flemming has a lot of experience within layers in regard to daily management, consultancy and actual sales of equipment. Flemming was an independent farmer with 18,000 organic chickens from 1995 until In 2016 and 2017 Flemming was Fienhage and Hellmann dealer in Denmark (Jørgen Hald ApS) and for a longer period he was also a member of Danægs Board of Directors. SUSANNE FRIIS - SALES COORDINATOR Susanne Friis started 1. september as a Sales Coordinator. Susanne will primarily be working together with Area Sales Manager Luc Willems and the dealers in his areas. Susanne has been working with technical sales and service for many years, and has a lot of international experience. Susanne is an export engineer with great technical insight and besides that, she is fluent in both french, english and spanish. Susanne Friis Sales Coordinator suf@landmeco.dk RENE LETH - TECHNICAL SUPPORT In the future, Rene Leth will be responsible for LANDMECO s technical department. Rene has over the past year worked alongside Arne Olsen, who has decided to retire from the beginning of next year. Rene is a trained engineer with a broad technical insight and understanding, great practical experience and great theoretical knowledge in mechanical and electrical equipment and installations. 7 LANDMECO SALES ARE GOING UP DOWNUNDER NEW ZEALAND Since April this year the newly re-structured company Real Air Solutions has seen significant growth in sales throughout New Zealand and the Fiji Islands. LANDMECO was an unknown brand in NZ until a dealer agreement was made between Alex Dybdal and Dave Mathews (Director, RAS). After a short time, marketing LANDMECO products, the sales are starting to increase. A large 8 house free range broiler project placed orders in July, another new free-range project has signed for 3 new houses and 4 retrofits, and another retrofit is underway for another customer. More large-scale builds have been quoted plus the expansion into Fiji is gaining momentum with some turnkey solutions being offered to a large customer. Real Air solutions has the perfect turnkey partnership with LANDMECO A/S, SKOV A/S, and HATO Agricultural lighting. We see exciting times ahead as the brand awareness and quality products makes a reputation in the South Pacific market. AUSTRALIA LANDMECOs dealer in Australia, FarmMark, has already delivered 18 broiler houses and many more are on their way. The future looks bright and exciting, and LANDMECO is looking forward to developing the good cooperation further in 2018.
