6 Titus 1:5-9 This is why I left you in Crete, so that you might put what remained into order, and appoint elders in every town as I directed you 6 if anyone is above reproach, the husband of one wife, and his children are believers and not open to the charge of debauchery or insubordination. 7 For an overseer, as God's steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, 8 but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. 9 He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it.
7 My Hope is Built on Nothing Less My hope is built on nothing less Than Jesus blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly lean on Jesus name. On Christ, the solid rock I stand; All other ground is sinking sand, All other ground is sinking sand. When he shall come with trumpet sound, O may I then in him be found; Dressed in his righteousness alone, Faultless to stand before the throne. On Christ, the solid rock I stand; All other ground is sinking sand, All other ground is sinking sand.
8 May the Peace (Benediction) May the peace of God our heav nly Father, And the grace of Christ the risen Son, And the fellowship of God the Spirit Keep our hearts and minds within his love. And to him be praise for his glorious reign, From the depths of earth to the heights of heav n; We declare the name of the Lamb once slain, Christ eternal, the King of kings.
