1 My Dear Brother, I want to say thank you for your heart to serve the Lord and your desire to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. At Park Meadows Baptist Church, missionaries are not second-class citizens. We consider you to be heroes. You are God s Green Berets the Redeemer s Rangers the Savior s Special Forces. The church owes you and others like you a tremendous debt of gratitude for your willingness to represent us in the regions beyond. I know that your desire is not to remain on deputation for any longer that you have to. You want to get to your field, and support is needed. I know that your time is valuable and I certainly do not want to waste that. With this being said, I do want to get you up to speed with our present situation. We currently support 80 missionaries and missions projects. We also have several families or individuals that will be sent out by our church in the next few years. While we have begun to support several of these families already, we still need to be ready to support the others when they begin deputation. In addition, we have several young people who have a real heart for missions and project them to be on deputation within the next 3-5 years. We want to be able to support those sent from our church in a big way. We also desire to visit all of our missionaries on their field within the next 5 years. We plan to set aside missions money from our Faith Promise Budget to help get some of our members to the field to visit our present missionaries. I share all that to say this. We have limited funds available right now for new missionaries. We will be very selective who we add to our missions family. While understanding that good men disagree on some issues, we want to get a feel for who you are and where you stand both doctrinally and in some practical areas of the Christian life. If you could attach a doctrinal statement to this completed questionnaire, it would be much appreciated. You may print out the sheets, fill them out, and mail them to the address listed below.
