It covers the early military career of John Churchill, future Duke of Marlborough. The wargaming part of the article presents you with scenario set during the Siege of Maastricht 7. Here Churchill and his English Soldiers charge a ruined fort alongside the French Musketeers and D'Artagnan to oust the Dutch and Spanish soldiers re-taking it. We've chosen to use the Osprey Games rules En Garde!, and here we present you with four army lists for the different warbands that feature in the scenario.
