Remember the Law of the Big Picture: The goal is more important than the role. We are partners together in the chain of salvation. We should never lose that perspective. No role is greater than any other. Every role is important for Church Health and Church Growth. 2. Remember the Law of Price Tag. The team fails to reach its potential then it fails to pay the price: 5

6 The Price of Consecration. Leadership sets us apart from the crowd and it places an additional demand of exemplary living on us in words, deeds, and actions. What we do out there affects what we do in here. Our Monday to Saturday should be the same as Sunday. The Price of Commitment. Commitment has more to do with personal covenant than conditions. We are commanded to do this in season and out of season. No team ever achieved extraordinary results without a 100% commitment to the cause. The Price of Consistency. Doing what is the right thing to do without allowing your emotions to get in the way. The Price of Chronos. The difference between the leader and the follower is time invested in the task. 3. Remember the Law of the Nitch: All team members have a place where they add the most value. Talent would never overcome being in the wrong position. No matter how talented and gifted you are, if you are not in the right place, talent will not overcome it. So, be willing to share if along the way discover that you are not in the right place. 4. Every leader is expected to innovate, initiate and implement. You have a measure of control to do what you have been assigned to do. Don t what to be told what to do before you do it, instead, come up with what you should do and do as long as it is in alignment with the vision. 5. Every role is for a year renewable based on character, compliance with team standard, gift-mix, effectiveness, fruitfulness and leadership direction. 6

7 6. We would work on the role description and send it to each leader within two weeks. 7. Be an enlarging leader. Make others look big instead of making them feel small. 8. Use Fractal System. Divide your unit into a least four areas of operation and assign leaders to each. 9. Commit to excellence. Excellence is a result of Caring more than others think is wise Risking more than others think is safe Dreaming more than others think is practical Training more than others think is necessary Expecting more than others think is possible Ryan Bennet 10. Listen to the two tapes you are given three times each and make the necessary adjustments. Do choose the part of the weakest link by cheating on the process. 11. We are developing a leadership culture. Do and raise other leaders as you are being raised. Go and add value to others as we are adding value to you. 12. Go borrow vessels. Go and learn from other leaders handling the same role and add what you learn to your uniqueness. 13. Schedule the Apex Leaders Business meeting in your agenda for the first Friday of every month. This is the most important meeting in House of Hope, and we have to take it seriously. Everything rises and falls on leadership. 7
