2 A Message from Our Pastor Today is a great day in my Pastoral life. We are celebrating my 23rd year Anniversary. We ve had our ups, downs, trials and tribulations, but through much prayer, we were able to make it. Over the last 23 years, we have accomplished much and we are in a good position to move forward. We have managed financial stability and we own more than 8 million dollars in unrestricted property that can be leveraged to do whatever we need to do. Last year we purchased a bus and paid for it in cash. We presently have no debt and are looking to add to our list of accomplishments. Our members have been trained for Leadership; and many new leaders are stepping forward and volunteering for open assignments. We are revitalizing our Bible Study, Sunday School and all programs dealing with our curriculum. We have been blessed to have the right people in the right places and it s paying off. I am truly grateful to my wife, Dr. Ann C. Favorite for her committed support and service as she works with the Young Men and Women of Excellence Program. Her assistance has been invaluable as it allows me the time I need to get things accomplished administratively. Each year we are joined by family members from out of town who share in the joy of this day. We are thankful to God. What would this celebration be without the help and support of the Pastor s Appreciation Committee? Sisters Lillian Dupree, Kim Brown and the rest of the committee have served admirably. In addition to that, I am so grateful to my good friend Dr. Thomas Scott for considering it not robbery to join in with me today to bring the message. Thank you Dr. Scott. I appreciate every hand and heart involved in this celebration and I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you.
