If there be a cntrversy between men, and they cme unt judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteus, and cndemn the wicked. And it shall be, if the wicked man be wrthy t be beaten, that the judge shall cause him t lie dwn, and t be beaten befre his face, accrding t his fault, by a certain number. Frty stripes he may give him, and nt exceed: lest, if he shuld exceed, and beat him abve these with many stripes, then thy brther shuld seem vile unt thee (Deuternmy 25:1-3). And thy heaven that is ver thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be irn. 24. The Lrd shall make the rain f thy land pwder and dust: frm heaven shall it cme dwn upn thee, until thu be destryed. 25. The Lrd shall cause thee t be smitten befre thine enemies: thu shalt g ut ne way against them, and flee seven ways befre them: and shalt be remved int all the kingdms f the earth. 26. And thy carcase shall be meat unt all fwls f the air, and unt the beasts f the earth, and n man shall fray them away. 27. The Lrd will smite thee with the btch f Egypt, and with the emerds, and with the scab, and with the itch, wheref thu canst nt be healed. 28. The Lrd shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astnishment f heart: 29. Thu shalt carry much seed ut int the field, and shalt gather but little in; fr the lcust shall cnsume it. 39. Thu shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink f the wine, nr gather the grapes; fr the wrms shall eat them. 40. Thu shalt have live trees thrughut all thy casts, but thu shalt nt anint thyself with the il; fr thine live shall cast his fruit. 41. Thu shalt beget sns and daughters, but thu shalt nt enjy them; fr they shall g int captivity. 42. All thy trees and fruit f thy land shall the lcust cnsume. 43. The stranger that is within thee shall get up abve thee very high; and thu shalt cme dwn very lw. 44. He shall lend t thee, and thu shalt nt lend t him: he shall be the head, and thu shalt be the tail. 45. Mrever all these curses shall cme upn thee, and shall pursue thee, and vertake thee, till thu be destryed; because thu hearkenedst nt unt the vice f the Lrd thy Gd, t keep his cmmandments and his statutes which he cmmanded thee: 46. And they shall be upn thee fr a sign and fr a wnder, and upn thy seed fr ever. 47. Because thu servedst nt the Lrd thy Gd with jyfulness, and with gladness f heart, fr the abundance f all things; 48. Therefre shalt thu serve thine enemies which the Lrd shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want f all things: and he shall put a yke f irn upn thy neck, until he have destryed thee. 49. S that he will nt give t any f them f the flesh f his children whm he shall eat: because he hath nthing left him in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates. 56. The tender and delicate wman amng yu, which wuld nt adventure t set the sle f her ft upn the grund fr delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil tward the husband f her bsm, and tward her sn, and tward her daughter, 57. And tward her yung ne that cmeth ut frm between her feet, and tward her children which she shall bear: fr she shall eat them fr want f all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates. 58. Mrever he will bring upn thee all the diseases f Egypt, which thu wast afraid f; and they shall cleave unt thee. 61. Als every sickness, and every plague, which is nt written in the bk f this law, them will the Lrd bring upn thee, until thu be destryed. 62. And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars f heaven fr multitude; because thu wuldest nt bey the vice f the Lrd thy Gd. 63. And it shall cme t pass, that as the Lrd rejiced ver yu t d yu gd, and t multiply yu; s the Lrd will rejice ver yu t destry yu, and t bring yu t nught; and ye shall be plucked frm ff the land whither thu gest t pssess it. 64. And thy life shall hang in dubt befre thee; and thu shalt fear day and night, and shalt have nne assurance f thy life: 67. In the mrning thu shalt say, Wuld Gd it were even! and at even thu shalt say, Wuld Gd it were mrning! fr the fear f thine heart wherewith thu shalt fear, and fr the sight f thine eyes which thu shalt see. 68. And the Lrd shall bring thee int Egypt again with ships, by the way wheref I spake unt thee, thu shalt see it n mre again: and there ye shall be sld unt yur enemies fr bndmen and bndwmen, and n man shall buy yu. 13.
