3 Pastor s Corner 01 February, 2015 "And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. - Habakkuk 2:2-3 My dearly beloved FAMILY, We thank and Praise God for having kept us to cross over to the month of February. Once again unmerited favor both individually and as a Church Family. We have been kept to love God More, and to Serve Him better. In retrospect, in the days and weeks leading up to our 70th Church Anniversary Observance in 2014, I gave to our members 6 important thrusts to lead our Church to higher heights. The WORK of our Lord. But because there was little or no attention by most members the same members who constantly complain, and express concerns about membership growth. So, I was led to continue an emphasis on these same 6 thrusts for They are, once again, Praying - Giving - Praising - Inviting - Evangelizing and Soul Winning. As a church, our primary focus should and ought to be Soul Winning, nothing else is as important as the Mandate of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is not an elective but a divine requirement from the Pulpit as well as the Pew to be a vibrant household of Faith. In recent days of personal anguish and frustration, I was lead to carefully look at the present state of the Tabernacle and even my own role, asking for diving guidance in this regard. In doing so, I was directed to the scripture cited above and after reading it over, and over, it gave a message to me, a word to have patience and indomitable faith that things happen on God s fixed time, which is in many instances, beyond our appointed time. Yes, people change but God does not change. The vision is for an appointed time, through it tarry, it will surely come. Beloved, we move, live and have our very being because of our faithful God. He has the last words for all to often there is a gap between our lips and our hearts. The month of February is now before us. Our emphasis will be on the numerous contributions of African-Americans to America. Life, History, and Culture. We do solicit your prayers and support for all of our regular and special Services. This month, also be faithful and consistent in the giving of Tithes and Offerings. Tithing is our way. Finally, Let us continue to be much in prayer for each other, the hospitalized, infirmed, bereaved, those facing challenges and for suffering humanity everywhere. When you Keep the Faith - you can depend on God s Power just when you need it most. He is there to comfort and cheer. Faithfully Yours, R.M. Leffall, III, Undershepherd

INSTRUCTING Our desire is to promote personal growth, whether In group settings or in one-on-one relationships. We believe in teaching the principles set forth in God s Word. Seeking to instill a Christ centered life. We focus on the truth of scripture and its practical application. SENDING Our ministry is motivated by Jesus command to Go into all the world and preach the gospel. We take full responsibility to effectively carry the message of God s love throughout the world by equipping and sending those who are willing to follow this Great Commission. ENCOURAGING Our people are the heart of our ministry! Jesus set forth in the New Testament, we are committed to a life of servant hood.
