2 Worship on the Lord s Day 9:45 a.m. Service Worship Leader Sis. Sandy Smith The Reverend Isaac Holt Jr., was born in Atmore, Alabama and is a United States Navy veteran. He is a cum laude graduate of Morris College, Sumter, South Carolina and currently serves as a member of its Trustee Board. He also served 15 years as an instructor at South Carolina Baptist Congress of Christian Education and currently serves as Vice Moderator of the Charleston County Missionary Baptist Association. Since 1993, he has served as Pastor of Royal Missionary Baptist Church in North Charleston, South Carolina, where God blessed the congregation to grow from 200 members to over 4000; to include 32 associate ministers, scout troop, 47 deacons and 41 outreach ministries including community food and clothing banks, providing groceries and clothing serving over 100 families per month. He served 7 years as the Faith-Community Drive Chairperson of the Greater Charleston Area for the United Negro College Fund. He serves as Vice-President at-large for the Baptist Educational and Missionary Convention of South Carolina. The church established a strong prison ministry with pre- and post- release programs and funded a home, transportation, and counselors to assist women released from incarceration to make the tough transition back into society. Through his vision in 2007, he established the Royal Foundation Inc., a separate 501 C-3 organization that serves the needs of a 3 county region in the areas of economic development, education, mentoring youth, and building stronger communities. The congregation under his leadership in June 2015 completed construction of a $10 million 2- building complex including a Family Life Center, banquet and conference center, fellowship hall, administration offices and educational classrooms. The church currently employs 73 full- and part-time employees. The congregation under his leadership completed construction of a new $3 million Sanctuary in 2006 and burned the mortgage in 2009 only three years later. Reverend Holt Jr. is the recipient of many awards and distinguished honors. He is married to the former Jannie Singleton of Charleston and they have one son, Isaac III, who presently resides in Hanahan, SC. * Please do not enter or leave the Sanctuary during this time.

4 September 2016 Family Ministry Prayer Focus Praying For Family Restoration Scripture: Ephesians 1:7-13 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God s grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. Focused Family Prayer Praying for the strength to endure and to withstand the challenges that attack us all in our families. And in this enduring faith, we have the spirit of restoration and forgiveness to share with all in our families and to help each other to grow towards a life of committed following in Jesus Christ. Praying for the Restoration of those in our Family! Dear Zion Family, Sis. Joanne Tibbs, mother of Sis. Jessica Tibbs, daughter of Mother Dolores Dennie, and sister of Bro. William (Billy) Colbert, has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 endometrial cancer that has metastasized into her hip and spine. She is now in a fight for her life. Her family has established accounts for her on the GoFundMe and PayPal sites to assist in addressing the severe financial impact of this devastating illness.
