1 Thoughts on the Blood Moons for Today We are seeing quite a lot of prophetic word/speculation about the upcoming celestial events of : Blood Moon (lunar eclipse) 15 April First day 1 of Pesach (Passover). Blood Moon (lunar eclipse) 8 October Day before the first day of Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles). Total solar eclipse 20 March Equinox and day before the Hebrew new year. Blood Moon (lunar eclipse) 4 April First day of Pesach (Passover) Partial solar eclipse 13 September New Moon and day before Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets). Blood Moon (lunar eclipse) 28 September First day of Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles). 1 Dates according to the Jewish/Hillel calendar.

2 These upcoming celestial events are made up of one tetrad and two solar eclipses. A tetrad 2 is simply when there are four lunar eclipses (blood moons) in a row. The significance of the tetrad set that is coming up, is that these lunar eclipses as well as the solar eclipses will occur during the FEAST times of IT IS SCIENCE The very fact that these events can be explained from a scientific point of view RAISES SOME CONCERN about the high level of interest that is being given to this. Lunar eclipse compared to solar eclipse 3 A "lunar eclipse" and a "solar eclipse" refer to events involving three celestial bodies: the Sun ("solar"), the moon ("lunar"), and the Earth. A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth passes between the Moon and the Sun, and the Earth's shadow obscures the Moon or a portion of it. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, blocking all or a portion of the Sun. An eclipse can be total, partial, or annular. A total solar eclipse is when the Moon blocks out the Sun entirely, a partial eclipse is when it blocks out a portion of the Sun, and an annular eclipse is when the Moon is at its furthest point in orbit. It will not cover the Sun completely that's when you can see a thin ring of light emerging from the outside rim of the Moon. How are a lunar eclipse and solar eclipse different? A lunar eclipse occurs at night and a solar eclipse occurs during the day. There are only certain times when either of them can occur. 3 Even though there is a Full Moon each month, obviously a lunar eclipse does not occur on a monthly basis because the Sun isn't exactly in line with the Earth and the Moon. The Moon's orbit is actually tilted 5 degrees more than that of the Earth otherwise, we would see a lunar eclipse each month. We can see lunar eclipses more readily than solar eclipses, and it has to do with proximity. The Moon is much closer to the Earth (well over 300 times closer than the Sun!), so the Earth has a much greater chance of blocking sunlight to the Moon, compared to the Moon blocking light from the Sun. Also, a lunar eclipse can be seen from a greater portion of the Earth. Solar eclipses, on the other hand, are more rare and when they do happen can only be seen by a very narrow segment of people on Earth, for a short period of time. Why does the moon look red during a total lunar eclipse? 4 During a lunar eclipse, you ll see the Earth s shadow creeping across the Moon s face. The shadow will appear dark, like a bite taken out of a cookie, until the shadow completely covers the Moon. Then, during the breathtaking time of totality, the shadow on the Moon s face often suddenly changes. Instead of dark, it [often] appears red [but can be other colours, such as orange]. Why? The reason stems from the air we breathe. During a total lunar eclipse, the Earth lies directly between the Sun and the Moon, causing the Earth to cast its shadow on the Moon. If Earth didn t have an atmosphere, then, when the Moon was entirely within Earth s shadow, the Moon would appear black and invisible. Thanks to Earth s atmosphere, what actually happens is much more subtle and beautiful. Earth s atmosphere extends about 50 miles (80 kilometers) above Earth s surface. During a total lunar eclipse, when the Moon is submerged in Earth s shadow, there is circular ring around Earth the ring of our atmosphere through which the sun s rays pass. Sunlight is composed of a range of frequencies. As sunlight passes through our atmosphere, the green to violet portion of the light spectrum is, essentially, filtered out. This same effect, by the way, is what makes our sky blue during the day. Meanwhile, the reddish portion of the spectrum is least affected. What s more, when this reddish light first entered the atmosphere, it was bent (refracted) toward the Earth s surface. It s bent again when it exits on the other side of Earth. 4 Depending on the conditions of our atmosphere at the time of the eclipse (dust, humidity, temperature and so on can all make a difference), the surviving light will illuminate the moon with a color that ranges from coppercolored to deep red. TIMING OF TETRAD The Moon rotates around the earth every month, but the season when the lunar eclipses will be happening is during the exact Feast periods of PESACH and SUKKOT (Passover and Tabernacles) for both the years of 2014 and AND, since both of these Feasts are ALWAYS scheduled to happen on the FULL MOON, it is clear that the possibility of a lunar Blood Moon is quite high. NOTE! Lunar eclipses always occur on Full Moons you have to have a Full Moon for any type of lunar eclipse. If an eclipse is going to occur, the Moon will be FULL. The only variable is whether it will be partial, full, etc. Due to the cycle of the Moon s orbit, roughly every 18.6 years, the cycle will fall in the Feast 5 periods. Of the 228 lunar eclipses that have occurred in the 20 th Century, 37 of these have coincided with the FEASTS. So we see this is NOT as rare as some are making out. END TIME FOCUS When four consecutive lunar eclipses are all total eclipses, the group is known as a tetrad 6. The following tetrads will occur during this century. 5 We have had blood-red Moons on/near the first day of Passover and the first day of Sukkot, on back-to-back years, SEVEN times since the time of the Messiah s crucification. Two of these occurrences were connected to the Land of Israel (statehood for Israel and the War of Independence), and 1967 (the Six-Day War) two of the most significant events in history. The War of Independence Passover, April 13, Sukkot, October 7, Passover, April 2, Sukkot, September 26, 1950 The Six-Day War First Day of Passover, April 24, First Day of Sukkoth, October 18, 1967 First Day of Passover, April 13, First Day of Sukkoth, October 6, 1968 The others were in 162/163 A.D., 795/796 A.D., 842/843 A.D., 860/861 A.D. and 1493/1494 A.D. We don t have any historical event connections to the Land of Israel for these years, but we do know of significant Jewish persecution during the eighth and ninth centuries, as well as World War II (without a tetrad being recorded). 5

6 WE ARE NOT TO SET DATES Y shua (Jesus) often tells us NOT to set dates. It s wise to stay away from thinking/debates that lead to this type of conclusion. PAUL S CONCERNS IN THE LAST DAYS Paul raises two major concerns that we should also be concerned about. Both of these highlight the fact that: We are NOT a united WHOLE House of Israel/Body of Messiah! We are not a Bride with a Spotless Gown, a Holy (Set apart) Priesthood. Godlessness. 2 Timothy 3:1-7 BUT UNDERSTAND this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous Fmes of great stress and trouble [hard to deal with and hard to bear]. 2 For people will be lovers of self and [ueerly] self- centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane. 3 [They will be] without natural [human] affecfon (callous and inhuman), relentless (admixng of no truce or appeasement); [they will be] slanderers (false accusers, troublemakers), intemperate and loose in morals and conduct, uncontrolled and fierce, haters of good. 4 [They will be] treacherous [betrayers], rash, [and] inflated with self- conceit. [They will be] lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God. 5 For [although] they hold a form of piety (true religion), they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession]. Avoid [all] such people [turn away from them]. 6 For among them are those who worm their way into homes and capfvate silly and weak- natured and spiritually dwarfed women, loaded down with [the burden of their] sins [and easily] swayed and led away by various evil desires and seducfve impulses. 7 [These weak women will listen to anybody who will teach them]; they are forever inquiring and gexng informafon, but are never able to arrive at a recognifon and knowledge of the Truth. Falling away from a life of faith/obedience. 1 Timothy 4:1-3 BUT THE [Holy] Spirit disfnctly and expressly declares that in laeer Fmes some will turn away from the faith, giving aeenfon to deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons teach, 6

7 2 Through the hypocrisy and pretensions of liars whose consciences are seared (cauterized), 3 Who forbid people to marry and [teach them] to abstain from [certain kinds of] foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and have [an increasingly clear] knowledge of the truth. As the Body/Bride we should be setting a standard. WHAT SHOULD WE BE DOING AT THIS TIME As priests it is our responsibility to: We can take note of all the end time prophecies, and the fact that Israel has been the possible focus of the past two tetrads (of 1948 and 1967). BUT We should take up the calling to be a SET APART, ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION. Teach the WORD in Spirit and Truth. Walk in obedience to the Commandments. Re-dedicate the utensils and sanctify the Tabernacle made up of Living Stones. THIS NEXT TETRAD Tetrad - First Day of Passover, April 15 - First Day of Sukkoth, October 8 - First Day of Passover, April 4 - First Day of Sukkot, September Fall Feasts - Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets), September 14 - Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), September 23 - Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles), September 28 Importantly, one should ask the question if this is a SIGN, where would we be able to see the visible evidence? 7

8 The first three LUNAR eclipses of the upcoming tetrad WILL NOT be visible from JERUSALEM and with the final one, we will only see the beginning of the eclipse (the only landfall place where this will be visible is the FAROE islands/svalbard). Is THIS therefore the SIGN that everyone is talking about? PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS Y shua (Jesus) said that He would not return UNTIL Israel/Jerusalem will declare that He IS ADONAI let s call for the One Branch of the Body of Messiah to move away from ritual, embrace the LIVING Messiah, and walk in the Spirit. The prophets of old said that a time would come when ten gentiles would take hold of the tzit-tzit of one Israelite, and walk back to the Tabernacle. Zechariah 8:23 23 Thus says the Lord of hosts: In those days ten men out of all languages of the nafons shall take hold of the robe of him who is a Jew, saying, Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you. Let us call forth: A revival of Covenant-keeping gentiles, And a Jewish nation of renewed-minded people, who will embrace their brothers. The prophet Obadiah said that the children of Israel who had been sent into exile (in Spain/South America), would return to inhabit [fill] the desert. Let s call forth this return and for the fullness of the promise that the Negev will BLOOM again to come to pass. There have been SEVEN tetrads that have fallen on GOD s Feast days: 162/3, 795/6, 842/3. 860/1, 1493/4, 1949/50, 1967/8 o this next one will be the EIGHTH. 8

9 The sons of the Covenant were circumcised on the EIGHTH day (Genesis 17:12). This speaks of a separation of those who will choose to follow GOD. It also is a shadow of the act of a circumcised HEART. Let s call for a renewal in the Body of Messiah which leads to a lifestyle where: We proclaim the Messiah and LIVE a lifestyle according to that proclamation, We are obedient in keeping the Commandments. The prophet Isaiah tells us that we DO NOT HAVE TO FEAR although there may be difficult times, GOD will return like flying birds to protect, rescue Jerusalem: Isaiah 31:4-5 4 For the Lord has said to me, As the lion or the young lion growls over his prey and though a large band of shepherds is called out against him, he will not be terrified at their voice or daunted at their noise so the Lord of hosts will come down to fight upon Mount Zion and upon its hills. 5 Like birds hovering, so will the Lord of hosts defend Jerusalem; He will protect and deliver it, He will pass over and spare and preserve it. Let us declare that the Body will stand and take courage and be diligent in making sure that their HEARTS are always in line with JERUSALEM. The prophet Zechariah says: Zechariah 14:1-9 1 BEHOLD, A day of the Lord is coming when the spoil [taken from you] shall be divided [among the victors] in the midst of you. 2 For I will gather all najons against Jerusalem to ba#le, and the city shall be taken and the houses rifled and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the Lord go forth and fight against those nafons, as when He fought in the day of baele. 4 And His feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from the east to the west by a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north and half of it toward the south. [Isa. 64:1, 2.] 5 And you shall flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal, and you shall flee as you fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah; and the Lord my [Zechariah s] God shall come, and all the holy ones [saints and angels] with Him. [Amos 1:1; Col. 3:4; I Thess. 4:14; Jude 14, 15.] 6 And it shall come to pass in that day that there shall not be light; the glorious and bright ones [the heavenly bodies] shall be darkened. 7 But it shall be one confnuous day, known to the Lord not day and not night, but at evening Fme there shall be light. 9

10 8 And it shall be in that day that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem, half of them to the eastern [Dead] Sea and half of them to the western [Mediterranean] Sea; in summer and in winter shall it be. 9 And the Lord shall be King over all the earth; in that day the Lord shall be one [in the recognifon and worship of men] and His name one. that the enemy will surround Jerusalem and half the city will fall, but that GOD will return and be King. Let us understand that a man whose heart is fashioned into the Tabernacle, who lives a Holy/Priestly life, will be a mini Jerusalem. We will be under attack so let us call forth for a new level of WATCHMAN, and a new breed of WARRIORS who will guard the gates of your city. FINAL THOUGHTS We want to encourage everyone to do their OWN research on the upcoming celestial events and tetrads... to diligently study the Word, and be led by the HOLY SPIRIT!! In conclusion... we see the Hand of GOD delivered the children of Israel from Egypt they had LIBERTY on the day that their slavery was cancelled. Unfortunately, that generation was never truly FREE, but wandered and died in the wilderness. To be FREE, one must have a VISION of your future purpose the right of sight to see the land that you will take. The Bride of Messiah will have a vision and therefore will not be deterred by the circumstances, nor be confused by the words of false prophets, or be concerned about the time BUT will be (like Esther) preparing to meet the KING, anointed with the best spices/perfumes (works of loving obedience).
