2 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Jeremiah 6:16

3 Right Side Up in an Upside Down World

4 Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink (Isaiah 29:9). Stop to consider the incredulous events around you. Shout about the insanity that is sweeping the world. Men act like they are totally drunk, but they are not.

5 For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered (Isaiah 29:10). God has caused this incredible amount of stupidity. He has put everyone into a deep sleep of blindness. Especially preachers and rulers, He has blinded them.

6 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: (Is 29:11). All revelation from God i.e. the Bible is hidden away. Truth is like a book that has been closed and sealed. They go to assumed wise men, but they cannot help.

7 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned (Is 29:12). All revelation from God i.e. the Bible is hidden away. Truth is like a book that has been closed and sealed. After wise men, they try simple, but he cannot read.

8 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: (Isaiah 29:13). The reason for God s great judgment is hypocrisy. His people were full of words about their love of God. They chose to love other things and pretend religion.

9 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid (Isaiah 29:14). God planned to do a marvelous and wonderful thing. These were His people, His church, but it did not help. He would take away their wisdom and understanding.

10 Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? (Isaiah 29:15). God judges those thinking they can get away with sin. There are many hypocrites that assume they are safe. They may not say the words, but they think or act them.

11 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding? (Is 29:16). They turned God s will upside down for their pleasure. Their ideas are as stupid as clay arguing with a potter. God, like a potter, would mock their haughty plans.

(Is 29:16). The world has turned God s ordinances upside down. Most Christians/churches have followed closely behind. God will have the last laugh! Whose side are you on?

14 Spatial Disorientation (1) Divers have oxygen and weights for weightlessness. There is no gravity pull to tell you up from down. Far enough down, you cannot see any surface light. If the water is deep enough, you cannot see bottom. Without a light, a line, a guide, a gauge you die!

31 Things Are Upside Down It is very true of the world and of most Christians. They are confused, ignorant, and perverse in thinking. The rate of inversion is incredible and increasing. God has hidden knowledge and wisdom from them. They cannot see, know, or understand their insanity.
