21 God s Coming Judgment And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead. 24 The Judgment Seat of Christ For God s People For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; (1 Pet. 4:17a) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. (2 Cor. 5:10) Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. (2 Tim. 4:8)

25 Reward and Punishment For God s People Reward Rapture (Rev. 12:5; 14:4; 15:2) Receive the crown of righteousness (2 Tim. 4:8) Wedding feast with Christ (Rev. 19:7-10) Reigning with Christ for 1,000 years (Rev. 20:6) Punishment And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matt. 25:30) And that servant who knew his master s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes (Luke 12:47b) and will cut him in two (Matt. 24:51b) If anyone s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. (1 Cor. 3:15)

26 The Great White Throne Judgment for the Unbelievers Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. (Rev. 20:11-12) And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. (Rev. 20:15)

27 Are We Ready For God s Judgment? Not a Christian yet? He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. (Mark 16:16) For Christians These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God. (Rev. 14:4-5)

28 Let s Get Ready! So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near (Luke 21:31) now it is high time to awake out of sleep; (Rom. 13:11) Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming (Matt. 24:44)
