8 The United States is not mentioned specifically in biblical prophecy. It does not appear by name or by geographical reference in the detailed descriptions of events that will occur during the last-days generation. Christ will return but the one nation in the West that has benefitted from God s blessing is absent from the prophetic accounts of the critical last-day s events. 8

10 It is unthinkable that God who knows the end from the beginning would pinpoint such small nations as Libya, Egypt, Ethiopia and Syria in the prophetic declaration and completely overlook the wealthiest and most powerful nation on the earth. Too long have we evaded the question. Too long have we summarily grouped our country with the so-called revived Roman Empire. Too long have we persisted in terming the U. S. A. in prophecy as one of the lion's cubs, thus giving her but an inferential mention in the shadow of a diminishing Britain. 10

19 Our eschatology is disconnected with its implications Our eschatology is meaningful only if it is realistic We avoid taking specific action it can be an academic exercise, a mental activity without counting the cost My assumption: The LORD returns within the next decade. If this be so, How then would our prophetic beliefs come to pass? 19

20 1. The economy continues to plague the world 2. Amazing scientific achievements will mollify the mob 3. Regional currencies will become more widespread 4. A new international currency will be put into effect 5. East vs. West political turmoil will intensify 6. The challenges of the Middle East will erupt into conflicts 7. Greater control (even Martial Law) could come into effect 8. Disparity between rich and poor nations will widen 9. Extending lifetimes is promised while meaningless grows 10. Biblical prophecies will be fulfilled right on schedule 20
