1 GOD'S HOLY FEAST DAYS, FEAST OF TRUMPETS SABBATH SCHOOL LESSON - PART 2 - GOD'S WRATH Say - Welcome to Sabbath School Class, let s bow our head as we ask God for understanding in our study today. Say - As we studied in "Feast of Trumpets Part 1", the "last trump or 7th trumpet" is a JOYOUS time for God's people His Bride for it is the return of their Savior, Redeemer, Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ to this earth. Say - The Bible tells us as Jesus Christ descends to earth His Saints arise to meet Him in the air, For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump (trumpet) of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first (1 st resurrection): Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds (those whom are "called and converted"), to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord I Thessalonians 4: Say - It will be a joyous time for God's people and it is no surprise they will be praising and worshipping God for His deliverance as they descend with Him to the Mt. of Olives, Zechariah 14:4. The Bible tells us, " 2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire (represents the Throne of God) and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name,...(which the Faithful of God refused to receive during the Great Tribulation) 3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb (Just as the Israelites had been victoriously delivered by God coming through the Red Sea, so God's people, His "Firstfruits" will be victoriously delivered from the Beast and the False Prophet led by Satan at the end of the great tribulation at the sound of the "last trump" announcing Christ's return and will be singing and praising God in Thanksgiving.), saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. 4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest (The "Song of Moses" is found in Exodus 15:1-18; I have printed it at the end of this lesson for your convenience and you will see the great relief and joy and happiness expressed for their deliverance, also notice the comparisons of the Exodus to the end time events for which God's people will be giving thanks to God as well.)" Revelation 15:2-4. Say - In contrast however, the "last trump" or "7th trumpet" issues in the 7 Last Plagues or "Vials" of the "wrath of God" over the end-time beast power as God sets up His Kingdom and he shall reign forever and ever, Revelation 11:15. Let's take a look at what 1

2 transpires at the "last trump" concerning the beast and false prophet and their followers in Revelation 16. It will NOT be a joyous time for them for the Bible tells us, " 8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation (the wrath of God), even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy" Zephaniah 3:8. Say - As you read and study please remember "the wrath of God" or the 7 last plagues happen AFTER God's people are with Christ. Re-read I Thessalonians 4:16-17 above and realize how important it is for God's people to "hold fast" to their calling unto the end! The "wrath of God" is described in Revelation 16. REVELATION 16 1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels (This is the voice of God), Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth (this is a sudden overthrow of the reign of the beast power and false prophet and their followers). THE FIRST FOUR "VIALS" OR "PLAGUES" OF GOD, VERSES 2-9, EFFECT THE EARTH IN TOTALLITY NOT JUST IN PART AS THE SEVEN SEALS AND TRUMPET PLAGUES DURING THE GREAT TRIBULATION. 2 And the first (angel) went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore (meaning destructive, evil boils like fell upon the Egyptians during the Passover Plagues) upon the men which had the mark of the beast (the "men" here are the followers of the beast power), and upon them which worshipped his image (people who were deceived into following the false Satanic leader and kissed his hand or did obeisance to him with great reverence, Revelation 13:3-18; remember when Christ returns the beast's power is finished). 3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man (putrefying): and every living soul died in the sea (everything dies now). 4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood (now the physical life-giving water is completely destroyed). 5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged (judged rightly) thus (read on why Christ destroys the beast power). 2

3 6 For they (the beast and false prophet) have shed the blood of saints and prophets (God's people, His Bride), and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy (they deserve this treatment). (God said through His prophet Isaiah, " 26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob" Isaiah 49:26). 7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous (fair) are thy judgments. 8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him (the sun) to scorch men with fire (those who took the mark of the beast and worshipped him). 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God (those who do not hold God as the Most High God), which hath power over these plagues (God has all the authority over the plagues): and they repented not to give him glory (they still will not repent, they are not about to turn from their pagan gods and give The Most High God His respect). THE REMAINDER OF THE "VIALS OR PLAGUES" AFFECT THE BEAST AND FALSE PROPHET MORE SPECIFICALLY 10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast ("seat" means the throne of the "beast" and is set up as if it were God's throne for the Bible tells us, "...that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God" 2 Thessalonians 2:4. The "beast" can mean either a leader or a nation and is the spiritual work or power of the great false church and its leader and ten kings or kingdoms/governments which are given their power by Satan, Revelation 13:2); and his kingdom was full of darkness ("darkness" refers to being spiritually blind, unable to understand the truth of God because they do not have the spirit of God and have not repented of their sins which is the disobeying of God's Laws, Romans 13:10. Remember the Bible tells us, " 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air (Satan), the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience" Ephesians 2:2. This great false church called the "great whore" in the Bible, Revelation 19:2, is filled with false doctrine, deception and knows not the truth of God) and they gnawed (chewed) their tongues for pain (are in great anguish over the loss of their kingdom or government at Christ's return), 11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds (God in His great mercy is still giving them a chance to repent of their sins and turn to Him). 3

4 12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates (area of Iraq, Babylon which is spiritually symbolic of the apostate church of which Rome is chief (Jamison Fausset and Brown, Page 1572) and includes all who are against God and His teachings and is symbolic of religious confusion); and the water thereof was dried up (the spiritual work of the great false church and its leader, the "beast" and ten kings or kingdoms/governments influenced by Satan is finished and destroyed as we will see when Christ returns for His Bride and God's Kingdom or Government begins to reign), that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet (the "dragon" is Satan and gives his power to the beast who is a representative of him which opposes God in all ways and speaks lies and keeps his followers in spiritual darkness and leads them to idolatry, spiritual fornication and lust and is a man-made religion which leads to death). Say - Revelation 17 describes the "beast power" at the time of the return of Jesus Christ to this earth. Please read, " 12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings (ten governments or nations), which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour (God allows them to have this power for a short time through the tribulation of 42 months, Revelation 11:2, 13:5) with the beast (the ten nations or governments coalesce with the "beast" and "false prophet" or leader of the great false church). 13 These have one mind (one purpose, one objective) and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. 14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them (the "Lamb" is Jesus Christ; remember one of the reasons for the sound of the "trumpet" was to make war as we studied in "Feast of Trumpets Part 1". The Beast and his entourage come thinking they will conquer Christ and His saints but it will not happen, why): for he (Jesus Christ) is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful (these are God's "called and chosen" people, His Firstfruits, His Bride; NEVER GIVE UP). 15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues (a world-wide religion, Daniel 7:23). 16 And the ten horns (the nations which coalesced with the "beast" or "whore or false church") which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire (metaphor for complete destruction of the great false church for many people who followed her will find out she is a false religion and will turn against her and destroy her all directed by God, read on). 17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. 18 And the woman (the great "whore" with her false religion which led them into idolatry) which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings (governments) of the earth." Revelation 17: Revelation chapter 18 details the "wrath of God" on the Beast power which we go through in this lesson. 4

5 Back to Revelation 16, 14 For they (the "beast" and "false prophet") are the spirits of devils (demons), working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle (war) of that great day of God Almighty (This is the last effort of the Beast and the False Prophet and their followers as they come to fight God. Please read the following for a description, " 19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army (Jesus) 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the remnant was slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse (Jesus), which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh" Revelation 19:19-21.) Say - Then Revelation chapter 20 tells us what happens to Satan who had given power to the "beast and the false prophet". Remember Satan and His demons are spirit beings and unable to die as the "beast and false prophet do". " 1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled (God's Kingdom pictured by the Holy Feast Day called the Feast of Tabernacles): and after that he must be loosed a little season (Satan still has a job to do). 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea (difficult to believe but many will fall for Satan's deception once again), 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are (should say "were cast" for remember we just read in Revelation 16:20 they were burned up Prior to the thousand year reign), and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever" Revelation 20:1-9. Also " 13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars (should have been bright shining angels but are demons), to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever" Jude 1:13. Revelation 20:1-3. Please see "God's Holy Feast Days, Day of Atonement" which pictures an end to all satanic deception. ). Back to Revelation 16, 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame (don't fall asleep spiritually; talk, pray, worship and obey the true God and make sure your wedding garment is ready). 16 And he (Christ) gathered them together (meaning the beast and false prophet and their worshippers) into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon (Armageddon means Megiddo and means "cut off" or "slaughter" and is 5

6 God's final judgment on His opposing forces of evil, the beast power Revelation 17:4, 5, describes this as we read above and I am reprinting it here for your convenience with some additional verses, (Revelation 17 describes the "beast power" at the time of the return of Jesus Christ to this earth. Please read, " 4 And the woman (the great false church who has led people to believe she is the true church or bride of Christ but is not) was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS (meaning all of those denominations which broke away from the "mother" church but kept the same doctrines) AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings (ten governments or nations), which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour (God allows them to have this power for a short time) with the beast (the ten nations or governments are led by the "beast" or "false prophet" of the great false church). 13 These have one mind (one purpose, one objective) and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. 14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them (the "Lamb" is Jesus Christ; remember one of the reasons for the sound of the "trumpet" was to make war as we studied in "Feast of Trumpets Part 1". The Beast and his entourage come thinking they will conquer Christ but it will not happen, why): for he (Jesus Christ) is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful (these are God's "called and chosen" people, His "Firstfruits"; NEVER GIVE UP). 15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues (a worldwide religion). 16 And the ten horns (the nations which coalesced with the "beast" or "whore or false church") which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire (metaphor for complete destruction of the great false church for many people who followed her will find out she is a phony religion and will turn against her and destroy her all directed by God, read on). 17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill (accomplish) his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast (while the "beast" thinks only of doing their own purpose, vs. 13), until the words of God shall be fulfilled. 18 And the woman (remember he sits in the temple of God as if God, 2 Thessalonians 2:4) which thou sawest is that great city (in Jerusalem but is turned to spiritual Babylon), which reigneth over the kings (governments) of the earth." Revelation 17:12-18). Back to Revelation 16, 17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done (finished!). 18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great (final earthquake). 6

7 19 And the great city was divided into three parts (At the coming of Christ is the final destruction of the beast power and apostate Church or spiritual Babylon or false religions and her followers.) and the cities of the nations fell (the ten nations which coalesced with the beast power): and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath (just like she gave to the people of God during the Tribulation). 20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found (" 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Revelation 6:14-17) Back to Revelation 16, 21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven (anyone who is left), every stone about the weight of a talent ( pounds): and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great (difficult to believe but still not willing to repent)" Revelation 16. THE TWO BEASTS - REVELATION 13 Say - I think it is important we study about the two beasts we discussed in the scriptures above. I have printed Revelation 13 below for your convenience. In verses 1 and 2 below, is a description of the end time beast power. The reader will see the "beast power" takes on a part of each of the previous empires (Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greco Macedonia and the Roman Empire). Remember the beast can be a person or nation as we study below and it is filled with religious deception but appears as God's true church or the Bride of Christ. Also remember the book of Revelation is written in vision so the creature is mythological but the end time beast power will take on these bestial characteristics in its nature. Most important in our study to understand is the "mark of the beast" is a choice each one must make and many have already made the decision as to whom they will follow. In other words the "mark of the beast" cannot be forced upon anyone; that's good news! How can we know this for sure? The Bible tells us " 2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God" Revelation 15:2. 1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea (symbolic of masses of people), and saw a beast (a wild bestial creature absent of God which seek their own glory not God's) rise up out of the sea (multitudes of people, nations and tongues), 7

8 having seven heads and ten horns (ten nations or kingdoms or governments, Revelation 17:12 which Christ destroys at His return as we have read above), and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy (The Bible tells us, "...I saw a woman (the great whore or false church) sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horn" Revelation 17:3; she takes names upon herself which belong only to God). 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard (fast as Alexander the Great, Greco Macedonia Empire), and his feet were as the feet of a bear (Medo Persian Empire), and his mouth as the mouth of a lion (Babylonian Empire, King of the jungle, Nebuchadnezzar): and the dragon (Satan, Revelation 12:9) gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority (the "beast" represents a world power or government led by a religious leader which looks "Christian" but isn't because they do not follow God's Laws, they change them.). 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast (fall of Rome 476, restored 554 A. D). 4 And they worshipped the dragon (Satan) which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast (means a human leader), saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him (they are thinking and saying "who is like unto the beast; they think he is God and all powerful and all knowing but the Bible teaches us, "fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell" Matthew 10:28. How surprised they will be when they see their fate.). 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months (duration of his power and remember this power is from Satan which God allows for a "short time".). 6 And he (beast, false religious leader) opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven (Daniel 7:25. God, Christ, the Archangels, not humans remember the Bible teaches us no one is in heaven, " 13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven (Jesus), even the Son of man which is in heaven" John 3:13). 7 And it was given unto him (the beast power) to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations (God allows this final calamity during the tribulation to bring His people back to Him). 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (Satanic beast), whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 8

9 9 If any man have an ear, let him hear (don't fall for the false religion and deception, study to know the truth of God). 10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints (God is telling His people; "vengeance is mine". He will take care of the false church, the beast and false prophet as well as its followers for the Bible tells us, " 34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands (Jesus Christ), which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces... and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth (this is God's Kingdom)" Daniel 2:34-35, 44.). 11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth (the false prophet, a religious leader preaching truth and error filled with great deception); and he had two horns like a lamb (looks like a lamb as if Christ but is a counterfeit), and he spake as a dragon (by the power of Satan). 12 And he exerciseth all the power (authority) of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men (The Bible tells us, "And the beast was taken and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast and them that worshipped his image....both were cast alive into a lake of fire...revelation 19:20, don't fall for the false "miracles", remember the "beast and false prophet" receive their power for a "short time" from Satan; study to know the difference and realize it is God, not man, in charge of one's salvation. In Matthew 24:11, 24, speaking of the last days, it says "many false prophets shall arise and deceive many". Also in Daniel we are given more information about this false prophet, "...in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things, 25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time (1 year) and times (2 years) and the dividing of time 1/2 year which equals 3 1/2 years or 42 months which is the amount of time of the great tribulation)" Daniel 7:8, 25). Continuing with the false prophet from verses 11-13, 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast (will not be able to deceive God's "elect, called or chosen" people, Matthew 24:24); saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak (all from the power of Satan), and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed (Many down through the centuries have lost their life to serve the true God over this false religion. 9

10 Also remember Nebuchadnezzar had a golden image made which all were to bow down to and worship but the three Hebrew boys, Daniel being one of them, would not and were thrown into the fiery furnace and protected by God.) 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond (from all walks of society), to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads (this "mark" or act of agreement identifies the worshippers of the beast power. In contrast remember the followers of God have God's Holy righteous Laws in their heart and carry them out with the work of their hands; they do not add to God's laws or take away from them for they realize to "enter into (eternal) life keep my commandments", Revelation 14:12. Also, "But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed" James 1:25. And furthermore, "So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty" James 2:12. In contrast the "mark of the beast" is doing just the opposite of God's Law for the religious leader and false church of the beast power have changed God's laws by changing God's Sabbath, which is God's identifying sign between Him and His people, Exodus 31:13, to Sunday and tells the world God's Holy Feast Days are Jewish and separated people from them at the Council of Nicea in 325 A. D. under the Roman Emperor Constantine. We must study the first five books of the Bible to know what the Law or Instructions of God say and obey them.). 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six (only the Roman language had a numerical value, not the English language; also the number for man is 6, the number for God is 7) Revelation 13. Note: Commentary on the Whole Bible by Jamison, Fausset and Brown gives more detail than I can give in this lesson about the two beasts and would be a real good book to have in your study of this subject. REVELATION 18 - THE FALL OF THE BEAST POWER WHICH WAS PREDICTED BY MANY OF GOD'S PROPHETS 1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory (from the brightness of God). 2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils (demons), and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird (total destruction " 9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. 10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. 11 And I will punish the world for 10

11 their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity (lawlessness, changing my 7th day Sabbath to the day of the Sun, Sunday, changed Passover to Easter, etc.); and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible" Isaiah 13:9-11). 3 For all nations (in some degree or another) have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. 4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues (those who feel animosity towards the Law of God and do not want to hear the Truth, are part of this false religious system. Many professing "Christians" believe they are God's people and have salvation but are part of the "image of the beast" and are sadly deceived. God wants us to come totally out of the Babylonian mystery religion of iniquity and out of idol worship). 5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities (lawlessness, had changed the Laws of God yet she pretended to be the true church and people of God " 9 We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed (she would not repent of sin): forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies" Jeremiah 51:9.) 6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double (God will repay her double what she put on His people, " 24 And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, saith the LORD. 25 Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain. 26 And they shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith the LORD" Jeremiah 51:24-16). 7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow (also Isaiah 47:7, 8). 8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day (the "wrath of God", the 7 last plagues or "vials" of Revelation 16), death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her ( 9 But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments" Isaiah 47:9). 9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her (worshippers both physically and spiritually), shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, 11

12 10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come ( "...Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication" Revelation 14:8). 11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more ( "...shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin" Ezekiel 27:27): 12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, 13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls (bodies) of men. 14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all (utter destruction of the great false system which deceived so many will be physically and spiritually destroyed by Christ at His return). 15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16 And saying, Alas, alas that great city (or saying "oh that great religion" but it was false and led to death), that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! 17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, 18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city (modern Babylon destroyed)! 19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate (by the command of Christ all is laid low instantly, the Bible tells us, " 30 And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes" Ezekiel 27:30). 20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her ( " 23 Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel" Isaiah 44:23.). 21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be 12

13 found no more at all ("...Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary... Jeremiah 51:64). 22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee (no more idols made and worshipped); and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; 23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee (for all will be desolate): for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth ("...from the blood of righteous Abel, Zacharias whom you slew..." Matthew 23:35). Say - As we have studied, the fate of the Beast and False Prophet and their worshippers is not a joyous celebration. Our prayer can be that all will come to repentance and call out to God and accept that " 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all...ephesians 4-6. Say - I will leave you with Good news for God's People. " 3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow (when He returns), and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve, 4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon (not Nebuchadnezzar for God is speaking about "in the day the lord shall give thee rest" vs. 3), and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased! 5 The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers (the end-time beast power). 6 He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth. 7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing (God's Kingdom). Isaiah 14:3-7 Say - 13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted. 16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me (this is what I went through to deliver you)" Isaiah 49:13, 16. 14 SONG OF MOSES 1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. 2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him. 3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name. 4 Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea. 5 The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone. 6 Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy. 7 And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble. 8 And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea. 9 The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them. 10 Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters. 11 Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? 12 Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them. 13 Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation. 14 The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina. 15 Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away. 14

15 16 Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over, which thou hast purchased. 17 Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O LORD, which thy hands have established. 18 The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.
