Number 1 Part 2 (Gen 2:18 ESV) Then the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him." (Eph 5:31 ESV) "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." (Eph 5:32 ESV) This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. (1Co 12:12 NKJV) For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. (1Co 12:13 NKJV) For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. (1Co 12:14 NKJV) For in fact the body is not one member but many. (1Co 12:15 NKJV) If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body? (1Co 12:16 NKJV) And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body? (1Co 12:17 NKJV) If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? (1Co 12:18 NKJV) But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. (1Co 12:19 NKJV) And if they were all one member, where would the body be? (1Co 12:20 NKJV) But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. (1Co 12:21 NKJV) And the eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you"; nor again the head to the feet, "I have no need of you." (1Co 12:22 NKJV) No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. Study of gifts by Larry Groenewald (Eph 4:1 NKJV) I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, (Eph 4:2 NKJV) with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, (Eph 4:3 NKJV) endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

(Mat 5:28 NKJV) But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Mat 5:29 NKJV) If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. (Mat 5:30 NKJV) And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. (Lev 13:43 NKJV) Then the priest shall examine it; and indeed if the swelling of the sore is reddish-white on his bald head or on his bald forehead, as the appearance of leprosy on the skin of the body, (Lev 13:44 NKJV) he is a leprous man. He is unclean. The priest shall surely pronounce him unclean; his sore is on his head. (Lev 13:45 NKJV) "Now the leper on whom the sore is, his clothes shall be torn and his head bare; and he shall cover his mustache, and cry, 'Unclean! Unclean!' (Lev 13:46 NKJV) He shall be unclean. All the days he has the sore he shall be unclean. He is unclean, and he shall dwell alone; his dwelling shall be outside the camp. (Lam 1:1 NKJV) How lonely sits the city That was full of people! How like a widow is she, Who was great among the nations! The princess among the provinces Has become a slave! (Lam 1:2 NKJV) She weeps bitterly in the night, Her tears are on her cheeks; Among all her lovers She has none to comfort her. All her friends have dealt treacherously with her; They have become her enemies. (Lam 1:3 NKJV) Judah has gone into captivity, Under affliction and hard servitude; She dwells among the nations, She finds no rest; All her persecutors overtake her in dire straits. (Lam 1:4 NKJV) The roads to Zion mourn Because no one comes to the set feasts. All her gates are desolate; Her priests sigh, Her virgins are afflicted, And she is in bitterness. (Lam 1:5 NKJV) Her adversaries have become the master, Her enemies prosper; For the LORD has afflicted her Because of the multitude of her transgressions. Her children have gone into captivity before the enemy.

(2Co 1:3 NKJV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, (2Co 1:4 NKJV) who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. (2Co 1:5 NKJV) For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. (2Co 1:6 NKJV) Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. (2Co 1:7 NKJV) And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation. (Mat 11:28 NKJV) Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Mat 11:29 NKJV) Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (Mat 11:30 NKJV) For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Who is Jesus Christ that we come to for rest? (Act 22:6 ESV) "As I was on my way and drew near to Damascus, about noon a great light from heaven suddenly shone around me. (Act 22:7 ESV) And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?' (Act 22:8 ESV) And I answered, 'Who are you, Lord?' And he said to me, 'I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting.' (Act 22:9 ESV) Now those who were with me saw the light but did not understand the voice of the one who was speaking to me. (Heb 10:24 NKJV) And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, (Heb 10:25 NKJV) not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. (Heb 10:26 NKJV) For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, (Heb 10:27 NKJV) but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.

(Heb 3:12 NKJV) Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; (Heb 3:13 NKJV) but exhort one another daily, while it is called "TODAY," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. (Mal 3:16 NKJV) Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, And the LORD listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the LORD And who meditate on His name. (Ecc 4:8 NKJV) There is one alone, without companion: He has neither son nor brother. Yet there is no end to all his labors, Nor is his eye satisfied with riches. But he never asks, "For whom do I toil and deprive myself of good?" This also is vanity and a grave misfortune. (Ecc 4:9 NKJV) Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. (Ecc 4:10 NKJV) For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. (Ecc 4:11 NKJV) Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? (Ecc 4:12 NKJV) Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. (Num 11:10 NKJV) Then Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, everyone at the door of his tent; and the anger of the LORD was greatly aroused; Moses also was displeased. (Num 11:11 NKJV) So Moses said to the LORD, "Why have You afflicted Your servant? And why have I not found favor in Your sight, that You have laid the burden of all these people on me? (Num 11:12 NKJV) Did I conceive all these people? Did I beget them, that You should say to me, 'Carry them in your bosom, as a guardian carries a nursing child,' to the land which You swore to their fathers? (Num 11:13 NKJV) Where am I to get meat to give to all these people? For they weep all over me, saying, 'Give us meat, that we may eat.' (Num 11:14 NKJV) I am not able to bear all these people alone, because the burden is too heavy for me.

(Deu 1:6 NKJV) "The LORD our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: 'You have dwelt long enough at this mountain. (Deu 1:7 NKJV) Turn and take your journey, and go to the mountains of the Amorites, to all the neighboring places in the plain, in the mountains and in the lowland, in the South and on the seacoast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the River Euphrates. (Deu 1:8 NKJV) See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to give to them and their descendants after them.' (Deu 1:9 NKJV) "And I spoke to you at that time, saying: 'I alone am not able to bear you. (Deu 1:10 NKJV) The LORD your God has multiplied you, and here you are today, as the stars of heaven in multitude. (Deu 1:11 NKJV) May the LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times more numerous than you are, and bless you as He has promised you! (Deu 1:12 NKJV) How can I alone bear your problems and your burdens and your complaints? (Deu 1:13 NKJV) Choose wise, understanding, and knowledgeable men from among your tribes, and I will make them heads over you.' (Deu 1:14 NKJV) And you answered me and said, 'The thing which you have told us to do is good.' (Deu 1:15 NKJV) So I took the heads of your tribes, wise and knowledgeable men, and made them heads over you, leaders of thousands, leaders of hundreds, leaders of fifties, leaders of tens, and officers for your tribes. (Deu 1:16 NKJV) "Then I commanded your judges at that time, saying, 'Hear the cases between your brethren, and judge righteously between a man and his brother or the stranger who is with him. (1Ki 19:9 NKJV) And there he went into a cave, and spent the night in that place; and behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and He said to him, "What are you doing here, Elijah?" (1Ki 19:10 NKJV) So he said, "I have been very zealous for the LORD God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life."

(Rom 11:2 NKJV) God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, (Rom 11:3 NKJV) "LORD, THEY HAVE KILLED YOUR PROPHETS AND TORN DOWN YOUR ALTARS, AND I ALONE AM LEFT, AND THEY SEEK MY LIFE"? (Rom 11:4 NKJV) But what does the divine response say to him? "I HAVE RESERVED FOR MYSELF SEVEN THOUSAND MEN WHO HAVE NOT BOWED THE KNEE TO BAAL." (Rom 11:5 NKJV) Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. (Joh 12:24 NKJV) Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. (Joh 12:25 NKJV) He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. (Lam 3:25 NKJV) The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him. (Lam 3:26 NKJV) It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the LORD. (Lam 3:27 NKJV) It is good for a man to bear The yoke in his youth. (Lam 3:28 NKJV) Let him sit alone and keep silent, Because God has laid it on him; (Lam 3:29 NKJV) Let him put his mouth in the dust There may yet be hope. (Gal 6:4 ESV) But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. (Gal 6:5 ESV) For each will have to bear his own load. (Act 19:11 NKJV) Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, (Act 19:12 NKJV) so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them. (Act 19:13 NKJV) Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, "We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches." (Act 19:14 NKJV) Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. (Act 19:15 NKJV) And the evil spirit answered and said, "Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?" (Act 19:16 NKJV) Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them,

overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. (Act 19:17 NKJV) This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. (Mat 25:1 NKJV) "Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. (Mat 25:2 NKJV) Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. (Mat 25:3 NKJV) Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, (Mat 25:4 NKJV) but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. (Mat 25:5 NKJV) But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. (Mat 25:6 NKJV) "And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!' (Mat 25:7 NKJV) Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. (Mat 25:8 NKJV) And the foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.' (Mat 25:9 NKJV) But the wise answered, saying, 'No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.' (Mat 25:10 NKJV) And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. (Mat 25:11 NKJV) "Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!' (Mat 25:12 NKJV) But he answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.' (Mat 25:13 NKJV) "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming. (Act 17:11 NKJV) These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. (2Ti 2:14 NKJV) Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to strive about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers. (2Ti 2:15 NKJV) Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (Mat 14:23 NKJV) And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there.

(1Co 7:1 NKJV) Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. (1Co 7:2 NKJV) Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. (1Co 7:3 NKJV) Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. (1Co 7:4 NKJV) The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. (1Co 7:5 NKJV) Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. (1Co 7:6 NKJV) But I say this as a concession, not as a commandment. (Joh 16:25 NKJV) "These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father. (Joh 16:26 NKJV) In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; (Joh 16:27 NKJV) for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God. (Joh 16:28 NKJV) I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father." (2Co 1:24 NKJV) Not that we have dominion over your faith, but are fellow workers for your joy; for by faith you stand. (Php 2:12 NKJV) Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; (Php 2:13 NKJV) for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. (Php 2:14 NKJV) Do all things without complaining and disputing, (Php 2:15 NKJV) that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, (Php 2:16 NKJV) holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

(Heb 12:1 NKJV) Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, (Heb 12:2 NKJV) looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Neh 4:17 Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon. Neh 4:18 Every one of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me. Neh 4:19 Then I said to the nobles, the rulers, and the rest of the people, "The work is great and extensive, and we are separated far from one another on the wall. Neh 4:20 Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us." (Heb 4:12 NKJV) For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
