ACKNOWLEDGMENTS I would like to thank my wife for being so wonderful to me! You are amazing! I would not be the man that I am today without you! This work and the many others that have not yet been completed would never have been started if it were not for your support! You have stood by me and believed in me when no one else did! You said yes, several times over to selling all that we had, to preach the Gospel! Every time I thought of quitting you encouraged me to continue. You have been patient with me through the vast number of radical changes in my life as I seek to live this message with radical abandonment! I cannot thank you enough! A huge thanks to my three kids for being patient with me as I worked many hours, both night and day, to present a translation both accurate and inspired! Thank you for sacrificing some of our play time for the many who will be touched by this work. You Kids are amazing in every way! Thank You! 2

Table of Contents Introduction...4 The Call of Wisdom.10 Wisdom/Knowledge/ Understanding Health...25 Identity/Confidence Relationship/Leadership Rest/Peace Wealth/Prosperity/Success The Scriptures in Biblical Order

Introduction The Book of Wisdom is a translation of Old Testament Scriptures, mostly Proverbs, broken down into topical chapters to aid you in your journey. For centuries mankind has looked to the book of Proverbs to aid them in their pursuit of wisdom, happiness, wealth, health and success. The book itself was written by one of the richest men to ever live and some of the most successful men alive today read the Proverbs daily. If you are looking for wisdom s instruction in the realm of relationship, finances, health, peace, or confidence you will love 4

this book! The HDT is an easy to read translation that places an emphasis upon the finished work of Jesus Christ and the rich intoxicating presence of Holy Spirit. This book will leave you satisfied in Christ s sacrifice, awakened to the reality of Christ in you, and thoroughly intoxicated by Wisdom s mixed wine. Wisdom is so much more than the quality of having experience, application of knowledge, good judgment, or the soundness of an action. Wisdom is a spirit that eagerly desires relationship with you! She was with the Father in the beginning, rested upon Christ and clothes those who diligently seek her (Proverbs 8:22; Isaiah 11:2). Christ Himself is wisdom personified and the work of the Cross is her masterpiece! (1 Corinthians 1:18-25, 30) In order to 5

truly embrace wisdom we must embrace the union we have with God in Christ, for He became for us wisdom. And the Father in His extravagant love has given to us the Spirit of Wisdom, who teaches her students to walk in the realm of Spirit and embrace the mystery of union. In the pages of this book you will discover wisdom, but more importantly, you will discover yourself! The HDT will amplify certain meanings of the original language that are not seen or heard in most other translations, but it is still just the work of man, inspired by Holy Spirit; so you will need Him to reveal it to you. As you begin reading this book I encourage you to let go of your rational understanding and simply acknowledge the overwhelming presence of God in your room, upon you and most importantly in 6

you! Proverbs 3:5-6 says, With your whole heart, be confident, sure and bold in Christ, and never rely on your own wisdom and understanding as a foundation for your life. In everything you do be aware of His intoxicating presence, and He will make all that you do prosperous. Rely on Holy Spirit to lead you into truth; He is a friend that can be trusted. There are several different ways you can read this book. You can turn to a specific topic that you want wisdom in, read the whole chapter and then each following day meditate on a single verse within that chapter. Read one verse each day, write the verse down on a note pad or journal that you can look at periodically throughout the day and allow the verse to become a part of you as 7

you meditate on it. But no matter how you decide to approach this book, I encourage you to read over it many times. One of the largest obstacles to obtaining wisdom is thinking you already obtain it. Approaching Wisdom in pride is pointless and will only lead to frustration as you try to apply her principles; they must be loved, accepted, and most importantly believed, if you want to reap their fruit in your life. If you don t see an immediate harvest, don t give up, instead go to the chapter on identity and read over it several times and meditate on its contents for several weeks. Remember, when you plant a seed in the ground it does not become a mature tree overnight. It requires water, sunlight and the 8

appropriate nutrients from the ground to grow into a tree that bears lush fruit. I know you will enjoy the journey as you allow Holy Spirit to lead you through the pages of this book, and that you will be enriched beyond imagination as you embrace Wisdom and her maidens. Let the Journey begin! 9

The Call of Wisdom Wisdom flows like a river through the forest, bringing refreshment to creation and life to all who find her. She is beautiful by nature, a masterpiece to behold; she wears elegance like a garment. Seven angels await her command; she sends them out to find those who will embark on the adventure of entering her palace. Those who are willing to eat her bread and drink her wine are clothed in the glory of her maidens, prepared for the banqueting table of the Master. Will you respond to Wisdom s call? Will you embrace the depth of her beauty? Will 10

you value her above all earthly goods? If you choose to accept her call, and embrace her beauty, your life will never be the same! Proverbs 1:2-5 To experientially know wisdom and instruction, to distinguish words of understanding, to receive the instruction of prudence, prosperity, judgment and equality, to be able to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young man; a wise man of understanding is always listening to council and increasing by what he learns. 11

Proverbs 1:20-23 Wisdom shouts aloud in the streets, she raises her voice in the city; she personally invites all who sit at the city gates, she challenges all who will hear, saying, how long will you foolish ones love your simplicity? How long will you mockers delight in making fun of others? How long will you choose stupidity and hate knowledge? Listen to my correction and change the way you think, for I deeply desire to pour myself out upon you so that you might know me intimately. 12

Proverbs 9:1-6 The Spirit of Wisdom has built her palace; she has cut out and engraved her seven pillars of truth. She has prepared the finest meal; she has set her table; she has mixed her wine with the most intoxicating ingredients. She has sent her angles to cry out from the highest places of the city. They shout, "Whoever is foolish, come in to the palace of Wisdom. Whoever wants understanding of the Kingdom within, come and feast on Wisdom's bread and drink of her intoxicating wine. Lose your foolish mind and live; and you will be happy walking in the ways of Wisdom! 13

Proverbs 3:13-17 Ecstatic Happiness belongs to the man who finds wisdom and understanding. For the profit gained by them is worth more than silver and gold combined. Wisdom has greater value than rubies and there is nothing you can desire that can be compared to her. Immortality in in her right hand and in her left hand is wealth and honor; her ways are beautiful and the paths she leads you on are peace. 14

Personal Notes 43

Relationship/Leadership In today s fast passed society, relationships are greatly suffering. The quality time of yesterday has been replaced with texting and instant messaging. We have traded real friends for Face Book friends. We have embraced reality TV as the model for marriage, and parenting. Close to 50% of marriages, now end in divorce. Parents neglect their children and good friendships seem difficult to find. Finding pastors and 44

leaders who will lead without a personal agenda seems to be a foreign concept, lost in the pages of the Bible. How do we reverse the trend? I m glad you asked! The solution is found in drinking Wisdom s mixed wine. In the handful of scriptures that follow are truths that will shed light on the insecurities that we may not even know exist within us and reveal the truth that will set us free! Treat each scripture like a fine wine allowing them to begin a work in your heart. 45

Personal Notes 61

Wealth/Prosperity/Success God delights in the prosperity of His people! As His children, all that the Father has is our inheritance. If this is true, you may ask, why then are so many poor? A three year old is not capable of withdrawing money from the bank, not because the child does not belong to the Father, but because the child is not mature enough to steward the money. God has entrusted Wisdom with His creativity and the treasuries of Heaven are at her disposal. She is not looking for those who desire a quick fix, those who want to get rich quick, or 62

who have selfish motives. She is looking for those who desire her more than the riches she has to give. She is looking for those who will drink of her wine and become intoxicated with giving. For centuries men have consulted her proverbs in order to gain her wealth, but few have consulted her personally. Each verse in this chapter is power packed with principle that if followed, will make you rich. But do not read these verses to become rich, for earthly currencies will come and go; instead read these verses to find Wisdom, for the one who finds her will live always in prosperity. Read each verse found in this chapter over and over and over! Immerse yourself in Wisdom s mixed wine! Gorge yourself on her delicacies! Study the verses found in this chapter, reading 63

them out loud, until they become a part of you. Demonstrate a diligent pursuit of Wisdom and the wealth she stewards, and you will find her. Do not get discourage if you do not see immediate results. But continue to be faithful to the verses found in this chapter and to your pursuit of Wisdom, you will not regret it! Psalm 35:27 Those who delight in the Righteousness of Christ will shout for joy and continually boast in the increase of His presence within, for God delights in the rest and prosperity of His people. 64

Psalm 112:1-3 Live a life of celebration in Christ; for happy is the one who stands in awe of the self-existent eternal God, who intensely delights in Holy Spirit. Their children will be powerful in the earth, for they will rule in righteousness with a heart of worship. Wealth and riches belong to them and their righteousness lasts forever. Proverbs 2:7 Wisdom is the inheritance of those who realize they are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Integrity, innocence, prosperity and safety belong to them who walk in the awareness of Christ within. 65

When you find her, you secure your future and what you desire always comes to pass. Proverbs 27:7 The person, who thinks they know, will not go deeper because they have lost their hunger for truth; but to those who are passionate and hungry, the smallest truth becomes the greatest building block. Proverbs 28:8 Those who get rich by usury and corruption are really just gathering it for them who love the poor! 75

Proverbs 28:12 When those who know their righteousness in Christ rule, the earth rejoices and the economy thrives, but when those who rule do not know their identity, men hide themselves and the economy suffers. Proverbs 28:20 The faithful and steady will have great prosperity, but those who try to get rich quick are unstable. Proverbs 28:27 If you give to the destitute you will not lack, but if you cover your eyes and pretend to not see them, you will live in disgust. 76

Isaiah 52:7 Look at how beautiful the feet are of him who announces the Good News, who declares peace, prosperity and health; who cheerfully announces the extravagant goodness of mankind and loudly proclaims their salvation; who declares my God reigns! Zechariah 4:6 It is not by the strength of an army, wealth or your personal courage; it is not by intensity or any such thing you can produce on your own effort, but by my Spirit declares the Eternal God of Armies. 77

THE SCRIPTURES IN BIBLICAL ORDER Hammered Drunk Translation Psalm 35:27 Those who delight in the Righteousness of Christ will shout for joy and continually boast in the increase of His presence within, for God delights in the rest and prosperity of His people. Psalm 42:11 How can I be depressed? How can I be stressed? This is impossible, for I am one with the Godhead and praise Him who is health to my being! 79

Proverbs 1:2-5 To experientially know wisdom and instruction, to distinguish words of understanding, to receive the instruction of prudence, prosperity, judgment and equality, to be able to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young man; the wise listen and add 80

to their knowledge, those who have understanding value wise counsel. Proverbs 1:7 Embracing the mystery of the Self Existent Eternal God is the beginning of knowledge. Only fools despise wisdom and instruction. Listen to my correction and change the way you think, for I deeply 81

desire to pour myself out upon you so that you might know me intimately. Proverbs 2:7 Wisdom is the inheritance of those who realize they are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Integrity, innocence, prosperity and safety belong to them who walk in the awareness of Christ within. Proverbs 3:3, 4 Realize that kindness and faithfulness have been written on the DNA of your being and you will manifest them in your life. Then you will acquire favor and success both from God and man. 82

Proverbs 3:5 With your whole heart, be confident, sure and bold in Christ, and never rely on your own wisdom and understanding as a foundation for your life. Proverbs 3:6 In everything you do be aware of His intoxicating presence, and He will make all that you do prosperous. Proverbs 3:8 Being aware of His intoxicating presence will bring health and refreshment to you and your children. Proverbs 3:9, 10 Honor God with your wealth, giving to Him first when you get paid. Become 83

intoxicated with giving and this will cause your accounts to increase and abound. Proverbs 3:13-17 Ecstatic Happiness belongs to the man who finds wisdom and understanding. For the profit gained by them is worth more than silver and gold. Wisdom has greater value rubies and there is nothing that you can desire that can be compared to her. Immortality in in her right hand and in her left hand wealth and honor; her ways are beautiful and the paths she leads you on are peace. Proverbs 3:25, 26 Do not make agreement with fear; of economic disaster, of accidents, or of individuals who might wrong you. For 84

the Eternal God is your confidence and protects you from harm. Proverbs 3:27 Do not be cheap when it comes to giving to those who are in positions of authority and service. Proverbs 3:35 The wise possess the intoxicating presence of God, wealth and authority, knowing it is their inheritance, but the fool possesses shame. Proverbs 4:8 Exalt wisdom and she will promote you, embrace her and she will bring you riches. 85

Proverbs 4:10 Listen my children and embrace my teachings, for they are a fountain of youth to those who love them. Proverbs 4:18 The righteous are clothed in light, shinning brighter and brighter as they walk in union with Christ through the work of the cross! Proverbs 4:20-22 My children, honor what I say, listen closely to my teachings, keep your eyes fixed upon them for they are real, and never let them escape your heart; for they are life in those who believe, and a medicine to the body. 86

Proverbs 4:23 Be diligent to guard your heart, because from it flows the source of life. Proverbs 9:10 Standing in awe of the ever increasing eternal God is the beginning of wisdom and being aware of holiness is understanding. Proverbs 10:3 Those who are aware of their righteousness in Christ will never hunger or live in lack but those who believe the lie of separation are never satisfied and live in poverty. Proverbs 10:9 Those who live in union with God walk in prosperity, innocence and safety; but 87

those who are unaware of their union with God walk a crooked road of selfcondemnation that leads to open shame. Proverbs 10:11 The mouth of the righteous is a spring of living water, but unrighteous language comes out of the mouth of those who do not know who they are. Proverbs 10:14 The wise hoard knowledge, but the mouth of the fool is close to disillusionment. Proverbs 10:32 The words of the righteous are used skillfully to bring pleasure, but perverse language is in the mouth of those who believe they are sinners. 88

Proverbs 11:2 When your identity is found in your own works, pride comes and with it shame. But humility is the result of an identity found in Christ, and from it flows wisdom. Proverbs 11:24 There is one who gives extravagantly, as the Spirit leads, and increases; and one who with reason, gives sparingly, and lives in lack. Proverbs 11:25 The person who gives extravagantly shall be fully satisfied, and the one who stays immersed in the intoxicating presence of Holy Spirit shall flood the world with His intoxicating Love. 89

Proverbs 12:1 To be a friend of rebuke, correction and instruction is to love knowledge; to be an enemy of correction is stupid! Proverbs 12:11 The man, who selflessly serves humanity, will be fully satisfied with harvest; but the man who pursues his own agenda lacks understanding as to why he is unsatisfied. Proverbs 12:16 The man, who is unaware of his identity, foolishly allows the circumstances of life and the actions of others to quickly anger him. The man, who is secure in his identity, is in control of his emotions and prudently overlooks the insults of others. 90

Proverbs 12:18 Many wound others with their words but the wise use their mouth to bring health and deliverance. Proverbs 12:20 Deceit is in the heart of those who set their mind on perverse things, but great joy belongs to those who declare peace. Proverbs 14:23 Action flows through union and leads to profit and preeminence, but meaningless talk leads to poverty. Proverbs 14:29 Patience towards others is a demonstration of understanding and to be quick tempered is a demonstration of foolishness. 91

Proverbs 15:1 A tender response defuses the poison of anger, but harsh words intensify it. Proverbs 15:13 A happy heart produces success, health and positive emotions, but a heart focused on meaningless things afflicts the spirit. Proverbs 15:14 Those who have understanding desire greater awareness and knowledge but the fool talks about that which is meaningless. Proverbs 15:21 Those who lack wisdom find pleasure in acting foolish, but a man of understanding is prosperous. 92

Proverbs 15:23 Those who know the power of the spoken word, and steward it, are full of joy; they are like an artist painting beautiful pictures with their words. Proverbs 16:3 When a man commits all he does to the Self Existent God, every thought and idea he has will be established. Proverbs 16:16 It is so much better to get wisdom than it is to get gold and getting understanding is more profitable than silver. 93

Proverbs 16:24 Beautiful words are like honey dripping from the comb, sweet to the soul and a medicine to the body. Proverbs 17:22 A joyful heart keeps the body healthy and is a medicine to the sick, but a wounded spirit ages the body. Proverbs 17:24 Those who have understanding apply wisdom, but the fool tries to hit a home run before learning to bat. Proverbs 17:27 The one who has experiential knowledge knows when to speak, and the one who has understanding is of great value. 94

Proverbs 18:20 A man's spirit is filled and satisfied by the fruit of his mouth; by the fruit of his lips he is crammed full of satisfaction! (you speak what you are persuaded of) Proverbs 18: 21 The power to create Death [the temporal state of being with its misery was given to us through the tree of the Knowledge of Good and evil] and Life [the Eternal state of being with its pleasure which was given to us as part of our inheritance as Sons of God] are found in the tongue and you will eat the fruit of the one you love. Proverbs 19:23 Standing in awe of the Eternal God brings a continual high that fully 95

satisfies; the person high on the glory of God is relaxed and without fear! (high=chay, which means alive, fresh, active, revived, renewed, a springing up within.) Proverbs 20:7 Those who know they are righteous manifest integrity and prosperity and their children are happy to follow them. Proverbs 20:15 The lips of those who have knowledge are of greater value than gold. Proverbs 20:24 The journey of the man who walks in union with God is not intellectually understood, for the journey is directed by the Eternal God. 96

Proverbs 20:27. The spirit man is the light that searches the inner rooms of God's Kingdom within. [Luke 17:21] Proverbs 21:5 The thoughts of the diligent and determined lead to great profit, but those who want to get rich quick live in poverty. Proverbs 21:23 Those who keep watch over what they think and say, guard themselves from anxiety, depression and distress. Proverbs 22:6 When you train your children to walk in union with Christ, they will walk with Him forever! 97

Proverbs 22:12 The seven spirits of the eternal God protect true knowledge, and overthrow the words of the unfaithful teacher. Proverbs 24:3, 4 Through wisdom the Father placed the kingdom within and through understanding it manifests in our life. Through knowledge we realize that we are filled with costly and pleasurable riches. Proverbs 24:14 To have intimate experience (yada =knowledge by experience) with the spirit of Wisdom is to the soul what the sweetest honey is to the taste. When you find her, you secure your future and what you desire always comes to pass. 98

Proverbs 27:1 Never boast in tomorrow; for the intimate knowledge of tomorrow lies in the eternal Today. Proverbs 27:2 Don't get caught up in talking about yourself, celebrating or promoting yourself let others do this, anyone but you. Proverbs 27:5 Public correction in love is better than love with no correction. Proverbs 27:6 The correction of a friend can be trusted, but the sweetest words from someone with an agenda are deceitful. 99

Proverbs 27:7 The person, who thinks they know, will not go deeper because they have lost their hunger for truth; but to those who are passionate and hungry, the smallest truth becomes the greatest building block. Proverbs 27:17 In the same way that iron sharpens iron, we are able to help others prosper in every way. Proverbs 27:19 You can see what you really look like when you look in a mirror, and you can see who you really are by looking into your heart. 100

Proverbs 27:23 Everyone should have intimate knowledge of what is going on in the lives of those they lead; being careful to give them the attention they need. Proverbs 28:1 Believing you are a sinner causes you to constantly run from God and man in fear, but being aware that you are the righteousness of God in Christ makes you as bold as a lion! Proverbs 28:8 Those who get rich by usury and corruption are really just gathering it for them who love the poor! 101

Proverbs 28:12 When those who know their righteousness in Christ rule, the earth rejoices and the economy thrives, but when those who rule do not know their identity, men hide themselves and the economy suffers. Proverbs 28:14 Happy is the person who remains in awe of the ever increasing God, but those who harden their heart become depressed. Proverbs 28:16 The leader who lacks spiritual awareness and understanding oppresses the people, but the unselfish leader who hates dishonest gain, serves the people forever. 102

Proverbs 28:18 Whoever lives in union with Truth is free, but if you live united with twisted thinking you are in bondage. Proverbs 28:20 The faithful and steady will have great prosperity, but those who try to get rich quick are unstable. Proverbs 28:27 If you give to the destitute you will not lack, but if you cover your eyes and pretend to not see them, you will live in disgust. Proverbs 29:9 The wise know to not bring public correction to a fool, for he will rant and rave and rob the atmosphere of peace. 103

Proverbs 29:11 The fool is a servant to emotion, but the wise are masters of their being. Proverbs 29:12 When leaders listen to and agree with lies, those they serve will live in bondage. Proverbs 29:14 Leaders, who faithfully defend the poor, will see their authority established forever. Proverbs 29:15 Direction and correction adds wisdom, but children left by themselves bring disappointment to their parents. 104

Proverbs 29:25 Fear and anxiety within is a trap, but those who are bold and confident in the eternal God are kept safe and inaccessible. Isaiah 40:31 They that have been bound too and are now one with [qavah which means to bind together] the eternal God, have had their strength made new; they shall ascend effortlessly into the sky on the wings of eagles; they shall run and never be exhausted; they shall travel long distances and not tire. Isaiah 52:7 Look at how beautiful the feet are of him who announces the Good News, who declares peace, prosperity and health; 105

who cheerfully announces the extravagant goodness of mankind and loudly proclaims their salvation; who declares my God reigns! Zechariah 4:6 It is not by the strength of an army, wealth or your personal courage; it is not by intensity or any such thing you can produce on your own effort, but by my Spirit declares the Eternal God of Armies. 106
