1 Do I Have Blood On My Hands? Ezekiel 33:1-11

2 Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 2 Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them: When I bring the sword upon a land,

3 and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman, 3 when he sees the sword coming upon the land,

4 if he blows the trumpet and warns the people, 4 then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away,

5 his blood shall be on his own head. 5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself.

6 But he who takes warning will save his life. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned,

7 and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman s hand.

8 7 So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me.

9 8 When I say to the wicked, O wicked man, you shall surely die! and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity;

10 but his blood I will require at your hand. 9 Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way,

11 he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. Ezek. 33:1-9

12 19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming? 20 For you are our glory and joy. 1 Thess. 2:19,20

14 Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Ez. 33:1

15 So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; Ez. 33:7

16 Then the watchman saw another man running, and the watchman called to the gatekeeper and said, There is another man, running alone!

17 And the king said, He also brings news. 2 Sam. 18:26

18 and the king said, He is a good man, and comes with good news. 2 Sam. 18:27

19 Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them: When I bring the sword upon a land,

20 and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman, Ez. 33:2

21 So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me. Ez. 33:7

22 all authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Matt. 28:18

23 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

24 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen. Matt. 28:19-20

25 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 2 Cor. 5:20 ESV

30 10 Therefore you, O son of man, say to the house of Israel: Thus you say, If our transgressions and our sins lie upon us, and we pine away in them,

31 how can we then live? 11 Say to them: As I live, says the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live.

32 Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel? Ez. 33:10,11

34 when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people, Ez. 33:3

35 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them,

36 he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman s hand. Ez. 33:6

37 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. 1 Thess. 5:6

49 17 Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: 18 When I say to the wicked,

50 You shall surely die, and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity;

51 but his blood I will require at your hand. 19 Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity;

52 but you have delivered your soul. 20 Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die;

53 because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand.

54 21 Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning;

55 also you will have delivered your soul. Ez. 3:17-21

56 Cry aloud, spare not; lift up your voice like a trumpet; tell My people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. Is. 58:1

75 how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, Acts 20:20

76 26 Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. 27 For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God. Acts 20:26-27

77 Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears. Acts 20:31
