2 How to Find Our Small Groups on The City The easiest way to find our small groups on The City is to use the search box, located in the upper right corner of The City main screen. Simply enter the ZIP code that you re interested in......and a partial list of small groups in that area will appear. You can then click show all groups to see a complete list of small groups found in the ZIP code you entered. If you want more control over your search (say, to find groups that meet on a specific day), use the Search groups function, which is found under Groups on the right side of your screen. How to Use Our Small Groups Directory 1. To locate the Small Groups that meet in your area, simply look on the map in the next pages and locate your zip code and find the page it is listed on. Then go to that page to find which groups are in that zip code. If looking for a small group that meets on a specific day, then look under the Days of Meeting banner on the next pages. 2. We have an open chair policy for all groups which means all groups are open to visitors who want to see what the small group looks like. However, the group might be at maximum capacity and not able to accept more members at that time. We will try to find a similar group near by or let you know which groups are able to accept more members. 3. The 2:7 studies and some others are such that need to be done from beginning to end without missing more than a few sessions. These groups will be basically closed to new members until the study is completed. Then they will open up again when a new group is started. Please be aware that 2:7 studies are also offered at the church 3 times a year for 11 weeks at a time. They will be held on Thursday nights from 7-9 pm and they will be well announced each time they are about to start--usually at the end of January, the middle of May, and beginning of September.
