16 H.Summaryof My ResearchActivitiesand Future Plans

17 My research through the years has focused on Jewish and comparative bio medical law with a growing emphasis on legal theory and the intersection of law and religion. In addition to ongoing publication in this field I will be coordinating the legal component of a new Masters in Public Health (MPH) to be offered from at Tel Aviv and teaching a seminar in Comparative Biomedical Law at Fordham Law School, New York. I am presently writing an article on the topic I presented at the IJLA conference Tel Aviv in July 2016 "The Impact of Erroneous Scientific Beliefs on Jewish Law: Definition of Death and Electricity on Shabbat" and I am hoping to work this up into a book on the relationship between science and law in the halakhic system. This would also have significant ramifications for the general debate on law and religion.
